In my opinion, knowing your TWR is just as important as knowing your center of lift. It's to bad Squad waited for 1.0 to start work on such vital parts of rocket engineering as delta V and TWR readouts.

I was expecting SP+ wings but bigger. Same geometric lego design. Then again, I was also expecting wet wings. Silly me.

So, I made an MM file today based on FuelWings. It's a lot more basic (just adds the fuel values). Suppose I could post it somewhere if someone wants it. I also wouldn't mind hearing what people thought about the fuel values represented in the mod. MAX FUEL CAPACITIES ---------- Connector A: 85 Connector B: 85 Connector C: 50 Connector D: 20 Connector E:20 Delta: 90 Small Delta: 50 Structural Wing A: 50 Structural Wing B: 50 Structural Wing C: 15 Structural Wing D: 7 Swept Wing A: 70 Swept Wing B: 85 Wing Strake: 14 Elevons have no fuel edit: I'd also rather not "take" Tortoise's work if he's going to update the mod. -

I generally agree with this hyperbole. I'd figure most people start games on whatever the default difficulty is. -

Maybe. I always found I was using 1.25m shield with DRE because I always had a part or two protruding beyond 0.625m. -
That's what frustrates me the most. As the tech tree stands, it would only take minor changes to make it good. Those changes weren't made. Small pieces in the wrong place can distort the overall effect of a tech tree so much. You can't just throw pieces around randomly or it can have a huge impact on the overall flow. Disclaimer: I would actually prefer a different style of tree all together, but I accept that this is the one we have, so this is the one we work with.

I was expecting the SP+ set scaled up. Same lego idea. Same geometric shapes. Than again, I was expecting wet wings.* *So we got a few wet wings. That doesn't really help the issue. -
The updates helped...a little. Maybe. At least it will be easier to mod now.

I'll say it again. Do not excuse bad design because their is a work around. First it was "jet pack up", now it's going to be "climb up", instead of simply putting a ladder on it. - - - Updated - - - Can I go on record as an armchair scientist who likes the new aero?

Got it. I've never worked on software. All I know is that 1.0 usually represents finished or close to. That is from my point of view and I'm assuming is what most people think 1.0 means.

Why do some insist on this 0.27 idea? Did you really think there would be 100 updates...or is it because you consider it still in alpha stage? I guess I could understand the former. As far as reviews, I have this sinking feeling that KSP's career mode is going to get a pass because it's sandbox mode is so unique. There's not really anything like KSP. Why a sinking feeling? I don't want Squad to think this career mode is good enough. It's not. In my opinion it's a mess. I love KSP. I just want it to be the amazing game it can be. That includes all parts of the game. Not just sandbox. - - - Updated - - - As for this update. It may actually be my favorite. The game finally feels close to a 1.0. There's still problems. Career mode has fundamental problems that will probably never be fixed. It would just take to much work. The water in the KSC pool is still an illusion. Little pieces of polish that make it not quite ready for 1.0. Anyway. That's my 2 cents.
