  1. Every part of the game should meet a certain standard. Aerodynamics are included in this.
  2. I honestly doubt it will happen, but I think it should. Life support is one of the main struggles space programs face. To have it so absent feels wrong. At least we finally have re-entry heat. I no longer have to make excuses for Squad about why that fire isn't destroying that ship.
  3. I gave it an honest chance when 1.0.0 dropped. It still has the same problems it had when it was introduced. Back to sandbox and spreadsheets for me. This post is my opinion.
  4. Some people complained. I do remember that. I really liked the 1.0.0 aero.
  5. I just want which ever is more realistic and to make such a drastic change a few days after release... It just doesn't sit well with me. - - - Updated - - - I want them to release at their own pace as well, but that's not what happened with 1.0. Something forced them to have a hard deadline. It's understandable that some are worried the same thing could happen again.
  6. Wheels have always been an issue in KSP. I'd definitely like to see them worked on.
  7. I just want realistic aero, but I'm no pilot, so it's hard for me to critique what we have here. What I do know is Squad talked a big game about testing the aero to get it just right. Then they make major changes to it a few days after release. I also remember Mu saying they were contacted by many people offering help on the new aero. Help they turned down. Mu then said this was really out of his comfort zone and one of the harder things he's done in KSP. This was all said during the 1.0 marathon. My issue is this: If you don't know what you're doing and someone with expertise offers you help, you take that help. So I'm left wondering if I trust Squad's attempt at realistic aero. All I can really do is listen to forum members I trust. I'm setting the game aside for now, and I'll see what people think in a few days when they've had more time with the changes.
  8. I know I wasn't quoted in your post. I'd just like to make it clear. I do really like KSP 1.0, but in no way consider it a masterful game experience. Sometimes the internet forgets there are states between 1/10 and 10/10. I just want to make it clear I think it's neither of those numbers.
  9. Nothing matters? I find designing and completing a difficult mission in sandbox highly rewarding. - - - Updated - - - Also, the problem might not be you, but career mode itself.
  10. I think they go hand in hand, honestly. Basically that. Bugs have nothing to do with it. Career mode is simply no where near masterful game design. - - - Updated - - - I disagree. The game experience encompass the whole. This includes tutorials, presentation, modes, UI, mechanics, so on and so forth.
  11. I don't think the launcher has ever been a viable option to upgrade Kerbal. Guess I'll just wait for the website to update.
  12. Again, I think the wow factor of KSP is going to mask some of its flaws with reviewers. There's nothing else really like it.
  13. This could be combined with this thread.
