  1. There's a lot of things stock KSP could of been. After 5+ years, I just don't know how much more hope I can muster.
  2. That's fine, but everything is finite. Including Squad's finances. We've seen enough regressions and new bugs on Squad's part. I just want them to actually plan for an end, and not suddenly run out of money and leave the players with whatever new bug got introduced.
  3. That's fine. People are allowed to complain. You can't, and should never, try to please everyone. Create your vision. Learn to finish what you start. Do the best you can, even with the little things.
  4. ... I do wish Squad would just go on a bug hunt and finish the game. I like finished products.
  5. Kids and their lack of patience these days. I would vote no, but I think you forgot that one.
  6. Clouds should be in the game. Period. Some guy did it in his spare time for free. I think Squad could do it with out going to such drastic measures. They're only not there because Squad has chosen not to.
  7. Once you learn about how KSP configs work, it's not to hard. You can look at the MM patches for Ven's and see what it changes. I did this for 1.3.1 and got rid of the unnecessary Squad parts. Speaking of unnecessary, doing it manually like this probably was, but it was fun and I learned a few things. So, totally worth it.
  8. I'll just probably do it manually myself. It's not really something I'd expect either mod maker to work out. They'e both essentially solving the same problem, so they're bound to conflict with each other.
  9. I can see this point as well. Unless they decided to add sounding rockets and changed the tech tree to probes before crewed.
  10. I'll make it clear. It's not necessary the concept I'm against. (If you get rid of the burnt out car husk.) It's the execution. It would have been the worst art currently in KSP. I just looked over it again to try and give it a 22nd chance. I just couldn't do it.
  11. Sequels happen in the game industry. It only destroys the community if you let it. Look at the fighting game community. There are players who have been around for near 20 years now and are still competing. Every modder knows that their mod will only work for the game it's made for. It in no way means "all their work went to waste." The game they made the mod for will still exist. Some people will still play that game. Some people still play Doom WADs. Last I looked Warcraft 3 DOTA was still being played. Though, last I looked was honestly before new DOTA came out. To say a sequel makes their work irrelevant dismisses all of this, the knowledge they gained, and the fun they had making them.
  12. He probably learned those things by making the same mistakes.
  13. They just announced a new update for console.
  14. ...and there goes our hopes and dreams. You're probably right. @SQUAD this is what happens when you're default position is silence. You destroy hopes and dreams. Think of the children, Squad. Think of the children.
  15. They can't even get joysticks working on linux... On Windows, you can use your controller, but like basically every other game with controller support, in KSP you have to map it out in the settings.
