Catastrophic bug Regarding DX11
klgraham1013 replied to Iso-Polaris's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, unmodded installs)
Such a catastrophic bug can only be seen as an omen for the end of all things. This is truly a sign of the apocalypse. Repent now Squad, and repair this curse before it is to late.- 16 replies

You know when you have so many choices that you just end up doing nothing? That's me with BG right now.

I agree with this. As much as pitchforks are occasionally mentioned here, this community is actually one of the more reasonable and coherent I have seen.

Although it may be financially wise for Squad to consider getting the ball rolling on a new project, either contracted or in house, I some what doubt this is the case. The future of KSP1 is finite. There's no guarantee Take Two will give them the contract for KSP2. I believe KSP2 may, in fact, already be in the planning stages. If not further along. Whether Squad will be involved is anyone's guess. Squad needs to think about it's future. That will include a new game at some point. ...but Squad is still a young company. Whether they're actually thinking in these terms I somewhat doubt.

Breaking Ground Suits: WHY?!?!?!?!?
klgraham1013 replied to Geschosskopf's topic in Breaking Ground Discussion
Okay. Fine. I'll try and justify my color scheme as well. Pilots - Red - Red makes rockets go faster? Engineers - Yellow - Danger yellow?? Construction warnings?? Scientists - Blue - Water's a chemical right? I think those justifications are sound. All other opinions are invalid. -
I can agree with this.

Breaking Ground Suits: WHY?!?!?!?!?

Squad doesn't always think the obvious things through. -
Animations in 1.8?
klgraham1013 replied to Rover 6428's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I love how we have to add suggestions as a bug report as opposed to posting them in the suggestions forum.- 7 replies

For an educational game, Squad really needs to work on the whole "teaching players how to play their game" thing.

This. We don't need another 1.0 trailer. ...and, in my opinion, Kerbals aren't stupid. Just overly enthusiastic to the point of mayhem. The trailer shows that. They are doing real work and real science. They are competent. They can just get a bit overzealous leading to broken beakers and electrical fires.

Are we still pretending the wheels/legs aren't broken?
klgraham1013 replied to Geonovast's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I still have my old versions of KSP and can confirm the jump to Unity 5 broke wheels in ways that have still yet to be completely fixed. Unfortunately, it's probably a #BlameUnity thing. So, Squad's only going to do the minimum necessary to keep things working and pray for a Unity update to fix their problems. -
[1.12.5] Restock - Revamping KSP's art (August 28)
klgraham1013 replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Squad could have paid Ven or continued paying Porkjet, but they choose not to. I think they've made their choice. ...and as said above, Squad taking such a thing for free would not be the best look. Yep. It's sad, but I actually have a list of mods I give to people when introducing them to the game. This is now one of them. -

Kerbal Space Program Breaks Ground with a New DLC!
klgraham1013 replied to UomoCapra's topic in 2019
I'm still amazed that some people think a product ending it's development is a bad thing. 99% of everything you buy has ended it's development. Far from dead, the end of a products development is typically when it's life actually begins.- 1,121 replies

Kerbal Space Program Breaks Ground with a New DLC!
klgraham1013 replied to UomoCapra's topic in 2019
That's what the mission builder actually is, and, yes, it was criticized for just being community challenges. Actually, many were hoping the mission builder was custom contracts for career. Unfortunately, that was not the case. There was much disappointment. Modders can add almost anything to the game. Doesn't mean such a thing shouldn't be a candidate for stock implementation. As far as I know, there has not been a custom contracts UI mod built into career.- 1,121 replies
