  1. Such a catastrophic bug can only be seen as an omen for the end of all things. This is truly a sign of the apocalypse. Repent now Squad, and repair this curse before it is to late.
  2. You know when you have so many choices that you just end up doing nothing? That's me with BG right now.
  3. I agree with this. As much as pitchforks are occasionally mentioned here, this community is actually one of the more reasonable and coherent I have seen.
  4. Although it may be financially wise for Squad to consider getting the ball rolling on a new project, either contracted or in house, I some what doubt this is the case. The future of KSP1 is finite. There's no guarantee Take Two will give them the contract for KSP2. I believe KSP2 may, in fact, already be in the planning stages. If not further along. Whether Squad will be involved is anyone's guess. Squad needs to think about it's future. That will include a new game at some point. ...but Squad is still a young company. Whether they're actually thinking in these terms I somewhat doubt.
  5. Okay. Fine. I'll try and justify my color scheme as well. Pilots - Red - Red makes rockets go faster? Engineers - Yellow - Danger yellow?? Construction warnings?? Scientists - Blue - Water's a chemical right? I think those justifications are sound. All other opinions are invalid.
  6. I assumed they would have been. I should have known better. I can agree with this suggestion.
  7. Squad doesn't always think the obvious things through.
  8. I love how we have to add suggestions as a bug report as opposed to posting them in the suggestions forum.
  9. This man speaks the truth. One pair of eyes should know to test that the IVA works on your new pod model. There's a mighty long list of the simplest things that have gotten through QA. Making excuses doesn't help anybody.
  10. For an educational game, Squad really needs to work on the whole "teaching players how to play their game" thing.
  11. This. We don't need another 1.0 trailer. ...and, in my opinion, Kerbals aren't stupid. Just overly enthusiastic to the point of mayhem. The trailer shows that. They are doing real work and real science. They are competent. They can just get a bit overzealous leading to broken beakers and electrical fires.
  12. I still have my old versions of KSP and can confirm the jump to Unity 5 broke wheels in ways that have still yet to be completely fixed. Unfortunately, it's probably a #BlameUnity thing. So, Squad's only going to do the minimum necessary to keep things working and pray for a Unity update to fix their problems.
  13. @Yeet_TheDinosaur I think the best option in this situation is to take @linuxgurugamer up on his offer. It's seems the best solution.
  14. Squad could have paid Ven or continued paying Porkjet, but they choose not to. I think they've made their choice. ...and as said above, Squad taking such a thing for free would not be the best look. Yep. It's sad, but I actually have a list of mods I give to people when introducing them to the game. This is now one of them.
  15. I'm still amazed that some people think a product ending it's development is a bad thing. 99% of everything you buy has ended it's development. Far from dead, the end of a products development is typically when it's life actually begins.
  16. Thus, why I no longer contribute to early access games. I was originally under the impression it was akin to hiring an artist to paint a painting. I soon learned it's hiring an artist for a stick figure in hopes it might one day be a Mona Lisa.
  17. That's what the mission builder actually is, and, yes, it was criticized for just being community challenges. Actually, many were hoping the mission builder was custom contracts for career. Unfortunately, that was not the case. There was much disappointment. Modders can add almost anything to the game. Doesn't mean such a thing shouldn't be a candidate for stock implementation. As far as I know, there has not been a custom contracts UI mod built into career.
  18. I honestly don't remember it being a "noisy mob raising hell", but memory can be faulty. I remember Squad heading it off at the pass pretty early. I could be wrong though. Knowing myself, I may have even been a part of the mob. Which could be why I remember it differently.
  19. So...I should have been using the feedback section and not the suggestion section for suggestions all this time? How silly of me.
