Wow. Does KSP really use 6GB of ram now? All the people with potatoes are going to start complaining again.

I never liked the mystery goo container anyway. I guess 1.7 couldn't go it's entire life span without some weird new bug. edit: Update: I wasn't able to reproduce this. Might be something else going on.

Finger's crossed this is the bow on the 1.7 update. What an update it's been. Good job Squad. Keep proving my pessimism wrong.

I think Take Two wouldn't purchase the KSP IP just for the minimal remaining long tail of KSP and the limited profits from DLC. Some may not want it, or think it's not necessary or there's nothing to add (which is short sighted), but I think KSP2 will happen and is probably already in very early development. KSP1 will continue to receive free updates and DLC as long as there are profits to be made. How much longer that lasts seems limited in my opinion. I just hope KSP1's final update is worthy of the game, and not filled with new bugs from the latest untested feature which it will surely add. I hope Squad is allowed a final series of bug fix updates, and KSP1 is allowed to sail off into the sunset as it deserves. What remains for Squad and KSP1 now? More art revamps will surely happen. Possibly one more DLC. It'd be fantastic if the current trend of adding long requested features continues. Who knows. We might even get an alarm clock.

Because 1.3 was the bomb. 1.7 is turning into a worthy contender though.

[1.12.x] Action Group Manager Renewed
klgraham1013 replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
This is my favorite action group mod on the citadel. Even if you don't get around to adding axis groups, thanks for maintaining it and all the others. -
Surprise mechanics.
-
They're telling you that it costs money to develop features.
-
This seems like a worthy addition to my collection.
-
I know. Instead we've gotten some of the best updates for KSP in years and a DLC worthy of paying for.

How the Hec do XBox/PS4 players even play this game ?
klgraham1013 replied to Gavin786's topic in KSP1 Discussion
You could have stopped there. -
I think Squad abandoned them along with part upgrades, and courage and stupidity.

[1.12.x] WASD Editor Camera Continued - New Dependencies
klgraham1013 replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Of course. For some reason I just didn't realize it was a dependency, and felt silly when I read the words that clearly stated it was. -
[1.12.x] WASD Editor Camera Continued - New Dependencies
klgraham1013 replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Once I realized I needed Unblur, it seems to work well. The LGG dependency list continues to grow. No big deal. Just when I think a new KSP release will decrease my mod number, another mod comes along to replace the replaced. -
Interesting, but the entirety of the game industry sort of contradicts your reasoning. Sequels are so common it's almost laughable sometimes.

I should probably let you know that most of my humor is of the sarcastic; self deprecating style. I was over generalizing for old man comedic effect. This doesn't always translate on this new fangled internets. Probably why the internet creates unnecessary conflict in comment sections. You're correct. Though, as something of a creative person myself, I do believe in the art of building your vision and never trying to please everyone. Some of my favorite games are my favorites because they had a vision and stuck to their guns. Yes, I can freely admit that Harvester's vision for KSP is not what I would have done.

This whole, avoiding punishment or bad things happening attitude is sort of off-putting to my old man sensibilities. I still believe things should be challenging. There should be consequences. It makes success that much sweeter. I know the newest generation of humans doesn't feel this way. I'm just glad there's still some game developers that still believe a great challenge brings an even greater reward. See my comment above.
