  1. Bobcat seeing you post multiple times in one day gives me all warm and fuzzy feelings. Especially since one of those posts talk about updates and new additions.
  2. WOW oki doki. No problem, it was just a suggestion man. You do what you think is best for your mod. You are right you release these mods because you want to share and you allow people to you use them how they want in their saved games. You are right as well when you say that you shouldn't mod for anyone but yourself. This community often forgets that modders don't have to share what they make but do so and update mods because they enjoy sharing with the community. There is also a sense of satisfaction and gratification when people like your mods i bet. You don't get paid and certainly people don't always appreciate what you do. I was just trying to say before that FASA might be smaller than you want but its a supported mod, its a popular mod, its regularly updated, and its the go to for most people who want a Saturn V. So most people are not going to download two different types of Saturns just because they want to launch Skylab. Maybe if they are just messing around in sandbox and want to launch Skylab they will download DECQs and your Skylab. However for the person who is doing Sputnik to ISS historical launches they are looking for low memory footprint space saving solutions. Two types of Saturn's isn't going to work. People love your Skylab because its FASA compatible. They appreciate it and I am sure its now a part of many players saved games myself included. That all might seem irrelevant to you because you share out of the goodness of your heart and not to satisfy everyone but I am just trying to say how you would be helping a lot of player in spite of the fact that might not be your intentions. So you don't have to conform, you release your mods however you want whichever way you want. I don't think people are gonna whine I just think people are going to be disappointed thats all. You made a great mod and made it useable for all types of users which was great. Now you are pulling that support. So yes people might not like it, but don't pull the mod, because people might complain about you changing the support. People love Skylab and if they want it they will do whatever you say to launch it.
  3. Thats up to you. I just feel you are gonna lose a lot of people if you don't support at least the FASA parts. OLDD I understand, Lovad I understand but going all in on a MOD that people might not want is a big gamble. Unless I don't understand what you mean by not supporting it "directly anymore".
  4. Are you going to post the SD files soon for those of us that don't have super computer pretty please?
  5. So we need to dowload Decqs Saturn and fasa and it only works with Decqs?
  6. Just for the future if you plan on making any other parts, could you make slimmer labs? Don't get me wrong I love the parts but I think they are currently good for the middle to early of the tech tree like early space stations but the labs currently look like designs from the late 70's/early 80's. Believe me they do look wonderful and I have been using station science for a long time now!! I just really wish now they were more streamline so when I put them on top of a rocket it just doesn't look right. Anyway its just fruit for thought. I love this mod and as I said you arent going to lose me as a user just looking towards the future.
  7. Is it possible that ATM doesn't work on MACs? I used to run 20 mods sometimes with almost not glitch or performance hit while running ATM. Now it just seems with every iteration of the game and ever new release of ATM the amount of Mods I can run keeps getting smaller and smaller. Right now I have maybe 7 mods installed and my performance takes a hit in a big way it becomes unplayable after like 30 minutes. I have troubleshooted alot of things but It just seems like the best time I had playing KSP was back in 23.5 and .24. I know with each update the game gets bigger but damn do I really need to delete the squad and nasa folders to get the game the way I want it. I also use alot of the parts in the squad and nasa folder. IDK I love I have tried almost everything people have told me over the last few months and nothing seems to work. So I am at a loss, thats why I am asking if the new ATM works on mac because thats the last thing I can think of that might be causing the problem. I know its a noob question and I know it probably not the issue but once again I am just simply at a loss.
  8. No reason why this shouldn't work on Mac. I use it all the time
  9. I love it I love it I love it! It kinda reminds me of Singularity Research Initiative, may it rest in peace. Although SRI was "futuristic" these parts look like they could have been in the early years of the SRI parts. Anyway very excited! For anyone intrested who doesnt know this is SRI sadly it's dead and incomplete. If you want beg Daemoria to start it again but otherwise don't get too excited. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/69923-Singularity-Research-Initiative-dev-thread
  10. I love this thread. So many threads are cursed with people complaining and people derailing the topic (fyi not what I am trying to do lol). This thread is all about figuring out problems, people diving into books and pages of Google image searches to find the best reference images. Besides the fact that is being done on the models is incredible. Bravo! Keep it up and I can't wait to see the end product! Cheers and Happy New Year! - - - Updated - - - in The art of INTERSTELLARhttp://imgur.com/a/lrPOM
  11. Actually if that's the third stage of a futuristic updated Saturn V that's the third stage and it would be 2.5 to 3.75. Atleast in game. I think utilizing the current historic infrastructure would be easiest ie FASA. In that case it would be 2.5 to 3.75.
  12. That's absolutely not true. Now we have to wait for jovzin to finish and maybe sometime in the next few months Dragon will work on it. Raidernick had stuff done!! He would have had this thing going before the middle of January. He deleted his posts. The work he had done already was 10x more than dragon had done in half a year. I'm sorry Nathan but this thread has no defined leader. However this is my last post on the matter of this mod lives the so be it I personally don't care anymore. You guys pushed a great modder off the project because of some unexplainable loyalty to Dragon. Raidernick is a modder and has done fantastic things AND had permission to take over the mod. But you guys want tepid maintaince from dragon. So what ever happens will happen now. Im done with this thread until something happens. Happy Holidays to all.
  13. Hear, hear I could not have said it better myself.
  14. 8/10 We are interested in the same types of mods I guess. Historical, good replicas?
  15. Wow! The speed at which you get things done is incredible!! Looking good.
  16. Agreed except they need to be whiter and the giant NASA logo is not realistic and doesn't look good. However I def liked the textures better on the originals.
  17. woah woah woah not yet? Thats an awesome answer!! Because that means there is one coming and thats awesome!
  18. I am curious about this too. I don't have a problem with the ET except that if you keep the texture switcher on it, the white tank should look kinda like this color. It wasn't just white, it was almost tan. That is very much a nit pick and is also an after thought thing like the windows. However the SRBs really need work. I never liked the SRBs and the separation motors definitely need work. The decouplers were impossible to line up properly so they need some work too. Raidernick the seperation motors you have on your R7 are really good something like that for the SRBs would work very well.
  19. Oh oh ok. If you look at your post 791. You kinda make it sound like you were making everything one piece. I guess we both read that wrong.
  20. Hahahaha yea you're right getting the thing flying is probably more important than the windows.
  21. Either way I'm for it as long as the memory footprint isn't affected too bad.
  22. How did Alexustas do it in his ERS rovers. I mean the only real dependency is JSI and firespitter. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/94947-Exploration-Rover-System-by-A-S-E-T-%2810-10-14%29
  23. That would be cool but I think it should be an option. I for one do not a have strong computer and I think efficiency should be a factor. I mean having the space shuttle is cool but your gonna need other mods to launch stuff. So the gamedata folder can fill up pretty quick. So I think efficiency and memory footprint should really be taken into account. Unless I am wrong about features like that taking up a lot of room. Then I will shutup.
