No come on man. No one is attacking anyone. He said this is the only mod he uses. He is on a forum that has a rule that everything needs to be in english. All of a sudden everything is changing and he cant adequately interpret all of it because its not in his native language. Like said just keep doing what you do best which is create awesome stuff and ignore everything else that isn't productive or creative.

I think the policy should just be to ignore dragon posts from now on. Just ignore them and focus only on CSS questions, queries, and suggestions. Its pointless to keep arguing. Even if he does respond just ignore it. Fighting like this takes the fun away, and this is supposed to be fun. So, if its not CSS related just ignore it. Also remember he might be trying to say something that isn't argumentative. Your getting mad but he is putting things through google translate both ways. Both to respond and to receive. So his response might not be as argumentative as he intended and our responses however tame might come off as argumentative. So again just relax and have fun.

Please please please new landing gear! The landing gear is really really bad at least thats my opinion. Also I think stock fairings would be really cool. I mean with satellite contracts and new aerodynamics coming I feel that fairings are kinda must no?

Oh I totally trust your judgement! I was just wondering if you were going to delve into the x-planes at all. You answered that and more. I have patience don't worry about that either. However I am just excited to see how you plan on doing these things. What I love about your videos is that where people get frustrated and give up, it seems you thrive and make amazing things. So again I am just excited to see how you are going to recreate the flights.

You do such a great job at recreating not only missions but creating beautiful replicas. Just to push my point one last time, mainly because I want to see what you can do with the spaceplanes. If you plan on going all the way to the space shuttle which it looks like you may. The X-24-HL10 were extremely influential to the development of the space shuttle. Again just fruit for thought, its not my series and what you are currently doing is incredible.

I don't know if you thought about this. I mean since you are past the events in your timeline I guess you are just focusing on rocketry. However have you considered the importance of the X-1-X-15 even the x-24a in terms of how they were significant to the early days of nasa or naca. Like I said its a little late now based on where you are in the timeline but it would be cool. Obviously there aren't exactly historical part mods for classic space planes or any high fidelity replicas of historical planes like there are with FASA, babcat, raidernick, and more. So now that i think of it thats probably why.

I guess there isn't a demand for classic and historical planes/rocket plane replicas. You would think with the new update a classic plane pack combined with FASA would someone could have a good time reenacting an actual historical CAREER mode. Not just sandbox.

Space Shuttle Atlantis: STS-86 Visit to the Space Station Mir I went to see the Space Shuttle with my dad in 1997. I believe it was STS 86. Im not sure. However I remember that the shuttle was Atlantis, I could and should google it before I post this but I am on my phone. So I am sure someone can fact check me. Anyway hands down one of the coolest things I have ever seen.

Listen this will be my last post on the matter. No one can talk about Dragons ban however most likely the ban is in the area of two months. That is far too long to wait. No one is saying Dragon can't work on this if he chooses to comeback. However if you look back at Dragons statement through Kasper he said he was no longer going to update the mods on these forums and he MIGHT work on them somewhere else. That is not acceptable for people who rely on and love this and other mods. So the rush isnt because people want to steal the work away from Dragon, it's to ensure this gets fixed and updated for .90 soon. Especially since it was seemingly so close to proper completion. So there should be no hostility. Dragon made his intentions clear and the good people of the forums responded. Thanks to raidernick for making sure this mod just doesn't die again. So please please please everyone no more dragon talk. He made his choices and I would like to think that the moderators wouldnt ban someone for trivial reasons. So before we jump to defend Dragon because we like his mods lets just remember that he was banned for a reason or multiple reasons.

Ok so obviously the dragon situation has alot of people flustered and confused. So raidernick seems to have cleared up a few things and hopefully we can just move forward now. I think everyone feel a little put out and lost because Dragon was maintaining historic mods. However it seems the silver lining is bobcat came back for a second to mention he might update his major part packs. This mod now has an abundance of people working on it. So let's just forget Dragon and focus on getting this thread back on track. So let's be nice, move and talk about the mod. My questions just for final clarity, will the next update include Jozins new model? Who is officially taking over the maintenance of this mod? Whoever is doing so should request to have this one closed and start a new thread. Will the current features remain the same I really like switching the textures and names of the tank and the names of the ships? Is this mod starting from scratch or are you guys working with what currently here? Anyway I'm sorry if I seem redundant but just for the sake of clarity and the ability to point to a specific post for answers is the only reason I am doing this.

Absolutely! It would be intresting to know if the importance of the mods were taken into consideration. However there is nothing we can do about it. All we can do in keep calm and carry on.

If your work in the shuttle model is 100% yours and you didn't take any from the CSS and you are willing to work on the SRBs and the external tank. Then montyben is willing to do the configs. Then both you gus should start a new thread and get this thing going again from the ground up.

Again you are correct. But the mod creator isn't updating the mod, Dragon was, bobcat isn't coming back no matter how much we wish he does. So my point is that without Dragon or some sort of intervention these mods are going to die. My other point is that it would be easier to take over what Dragon has done so far instead of starting from the last place Bobcat left off. To do that Dragon would have turn over what he has done so far (the reigns) to get things going again.

You are correct. However he has taken over many of them, curated many of them, updated many of them, and officially taken over many of them. So if someone wanted to take over and somehow gets in contact with Bobcat they would have to start with code and models from .22. If they got i contact with Dragon they would only have to work back from .25 and he might already have stuff done. Its a matter of work and what people are willing to do, to restore these mods. However you are correct, many if not all are other peoples work.

Well Its kinda against the rules so I will not be creating one, and it seems that its not a decision by the admins its a Dragon decision. He is not banned forever, it seems like a self inflicted exile. Most likely he is frustrated with the forums because having been on here for almost a year now Dragon has butted heads with quite a few people. So although it is a shame that all of these historic mods are going to to die, we can only hope now that Dragon calms down and return gracefully. However having sparred with him in the past myself, I wouldn't keep your hopes up. Lets just also hope that he might give up the reigns to other modders if that time comes as well.
