Hi, just reporting an issue, that I think, has something to do with persistant rotation: I was tweaking the trajectory of my mars probe and decided to use the relative rotation feature to keep the probe aligned proper to the sun. After choosing the sun as body in Persistant rotation, the whole screen (except all of the menus) turned black. Also the inside of the navball dissapeard and only a black area was visible. Short after, ksp crashed with the error on the screenshot. The same happens, if I restart KSP and try to jump to the Mars probe. Only not supported anyomore. Or not working anymore? The latter would be quite annonying. Ckan replaced persistent rotation already with 1.8 in my installation and I won't be changing to 1.2 soon, because many other mods will have to be updated. So it would be nice to have a working and up to date persistant rotation mod in the mean time. Awesome mod btw, keep up the good work- 690 replies

Installation of RSSx works als usual? Because I've copied all three folders from the zip directly into the gamedata folder and replasced the RSSExpanded-folder with the one provided by Guswut. But KSP seems to have problems loading RSS afterwards: When the main menu comes up, it has Kerbin without clouds al background. -

I don't think, that would be necessary. High-Res-Textures are performance-wise quite cheap, as long as you have enough memory on your graphics card and in your system to handle them. A system with 16 GB RAM/4 to 8 GB Video RAM should be perfectly capable for the task. But I think, that such textures would have a hughe advantage for graphics quality. At the moment, a pixel at earth's equator should represents a 5 × 5 km square with the best textures. A bigger texture would quadruple the ammount of details. Since Ksp is using a new version of Unity now, are 8k the textures still the highest achievable resolution, or would 16k textures be possible? -
Nevermind. Normally I play on a system with a 1440p-Display. During my vacation I had to play on a 1080p notebook, for which I had to lower the resolution of the game. The Window apparently was always there, but due to the fact, that it has kept its positon from the 1440p-screen, outside of the screen. Now, back to my regular system, everything is fine again.

Hi, yesterday I've noticed, that my KCT window in the VAB disappeared. Dunno when it happened, dunno why. While I can build new rockets without any problems, I'm locked in in the VAB, if I try to edit a vessel (this is how I noticed, that the window did disappear), because the buttons in the upper right corner are blocked. Clicking the KCT button in the VAB doesn't do anything. Anyone else encountered this problem? I can provide provide the neccessary log files, if someone tells me, which one are needed. Thanks!

Is there a possibility, that the manned contracts aren't accepted automatically? I find it a bit annonying, that you start your career with five allready accepted contracts for manned missions, some of which are only fullfillable after quite some progress. I'd prefer to accept every contract myself.

Hi, I've watched the latest episode of Tyler Raiz' Realism Overhaul series ( )In this epsiode in fact he goes bankrupt. But since the game apparently doesn't allow an account balance below zero, Tyler has more money by failing the "first artificial satellite"-contract and retaking it later, than he would have had, if he would have accomplished the contract without failing. Is this intentional? Looks kinda exploitish to me. Because as long as the in-advance-payment of a contract is enough to build a rocket capable of the demanded task, you can't lose the game.

Hi NathanKell, since you've got the Porkjet habitat pack on your suggestion list, I'd like to ask, if you also consider USI Colonization Systems as suitable for Realism Overhaul. The Porkjet habitation mod afaik doesn't provide the modules for ground bases, which makes the USI mod more interesting. What do you say? -

I use this mod together with Realism Overhaul. Is it normal, that RCS works in real time, while everything else is proper delayed depending of the distance?
