Well there's already an event card for an Apollo 13 like event, so that sort of counts. Meanwhile, I'm curing some modding burnout (and loving Mass Effect Andromeda, never played it) and working on a top secret project, but haven't forgotten about BARIS. I have some bug fixes to make, but they shouldn't be too daunting. With KSP 1.4 around the corner, you can expect at least one more BARIS release for 1.3.1. With any luck, the part failure/fix functionality going into the DLC will also be in stock 1.4. If so, then I might be able to leverage the code and make BARIS even better.- 571 replies

Sounds like you have an out of date version, because it's working for me. That includes snack consumption for loaded and unloaded vessels, both real-time and during timewarp. Speaking of out of date, here's Snacks 1.8.6: - Snack consumption now honors resource locks. - Retextured radial snack tin - Thanks @JadeOfMaar! - Removed unneeded catch-all - Thanks JadeOfMaar! - Fixed bulkhead profiles and tags on inline snack tins - Thanks JadeOfMaar! - Add parts to CCK LS category - Thanks JadeOfMaar!

The only things you need is the ground-based Pipeline or the orbital version. You'll need to store KIS items in its inventory in order to launch them.- 3,523 replies

I am hoping that ksp 1.4 will have part failures built in from the dlc. If so that will hopefully reduce some of the overhead as functionality currently in part modules is handled by the base game. Ideally BARIS then just has to manage when a part breaks and not how. And rockets with no shadow are definitely vampires. Keep wooden stakes on hand...

I kind of see Section 31 as decentralized.. like there are various cells to handle things, but no centralized command. But that's just me.

Love the new shuttle! Great to see one of the meeting attendees watching The Saga of Emiko Station! Politics are never fun either, too bad Kerny is in the middle of it. Also, what are the checks and balances for Section 31? Who or what keeps them in line? As for the debate about the evidence for UFOs...

Very fun read! KIS is definitely awesome, I based Pathfinder and Buffalo around it so you could build a base and rover using KIS and with parts printed via OSE Workshop. If Squad ever made another DLC, they'd do well incorporating KIS... -

Kerbin Elcano Exploration Project - Epilogue

The hover autopilot is called Kerbal Actuators, and it's a mini-mod I made for the Buffalo specifically to run the tilt rotors. It's proven to be useful for other engines as well. Not as sophisticated as Thrust Controlled Avionics but it does the job.. -
These look fabulous! I can see kerbals building up a new launch center somewhere. Just imagine if you had a static that tied into Extraplanetary Launchpads, then you could make vessels in a construction hangar, wheel them out to a pad, and launch them! I know that with KK you can select your launch site on Kerbin, I am thinking in terms of, say, Laythe. Unless KK lets you select a launchpad off world... Also @Poodmund you mentioned a FlattenArea module, what’s that about? Is that from the stock game?

Most definitely yup. The code is there and in place, though the slider might not be visible at present. Regardless, If you want to change things for your own game, you can do so through the MM_Stock.cfg file.

To get 100%, you'll need to change the settings. It's explained in the KSPedia entry for Snacks, but if you pause the game, hit the Settings button and then the Difficulties button, you'll see the tab for Snacks. In there, you can change things like meals per day, snacks per meal, recycling efficiency and food production efficiency. It sounds like you have a faulty install, they show up just fine. You might want to reinstall Snacks. Also, if you're playing in career mode, the parts will show up at various times in the tech tree.

Your props pack made DSEV's centrifuge IVA much less aggravating to make. Definitely using it in my top secret project too!
