I like the idea of crew being able to reverse some of those timers under certain circumstances. It would be nice to be able to have permanent bases whose residents are settlers, not crew. Perhaps some mechanics for hiring permanent settlers could be set up, sort of like a tourist but also sort of like crew? And the settlers have no home timer, but have some other drawback... I dunno.

That was the way I was getting part reflections. I mentioned the TR config also, because I was getting the same stuttering whenever I went on EVA. Turning off reflections in TR made no difference to the appearance, but a big difference to the performance. I did like the look of the reflections from that old KSPRC config, but the performance hit! Now the only issue with my game is the pause when I rotate the view (whenever the view moves to include a celestial body it did not previously), and the lag when ascending through the clouds on takeoff.

Hmm. My texturereplacer install had realistic reflections on by default. Turning that off helped. The MM config I had to delete was actually distributed with the previous version of KSPRC, and got into my install by shenanigans.

Delete the MM config in the KSPRC folder, and in the KSC menu for texture replacer turn off reflections.

These seem to work fine! I might object a little to their power, weight and cost ratios, but they do work as advertised.

Looks like the parts are there in the tech tree, although they are all in the same node (Advanced Science Tech). Havent gotten far enough to use them yet. I might see about writing a MM config to move them around the tree a bit.

Is your version of KIS up to date? Are you using KKS? I had a similar issue with an old version of Kerbal Krash Systems interacting with KIS.

I was under the impression there is a 15 day grace period. Indeed my recent mission to minmus depended on the existence of that grace period, as no supplies were included...

if you have UKS installed, it will override that config file with its own. So you may see consequences, even though the LS config file does not have any.

Is it possible to change the ships log to use Kerbin time instead of earth time? Got quite surprised to see the log think this was day 2 of a mission (actually day 8 by kerbal time). At BlueWolf Space Industries, we make use of your Ships Log feature on every mission - 6 hours a day, 426 days a year! -
Heres hoping that will work for me, then. Have just been having major stuttering on very small craft, and no luck so far narrowing down the cause. Loading now... EDIT: and it worked! Thank you so much for the tip! Doubt I would have worked it out otherwise...

enneract last visited the forums 17th of Feb, so not much in the way of news... The mod is under the MIT license though, so anyone can pick it up and run with it. -

Out of scope. Install AmpYear and it can do that anyway. I learnt all about that with my rover. On landing it did a triple backflip as downward velocity got negative XD Fortunately it had good rotation control and was on minmus, and it did land right way up! -
Managed to get SVE clouds in, although I cant seem to display city lights from either config in game. KSPRC adds a new planet? This was news to me... any information on it?
