  1. It's hard to find a superior cut of this one, or at least for the one I'm looking for. I had this on vinyl ages ago, it was perfect... played as written. Can't find it. Mozart's Concerto in C (KV 299), for flute and harp... complete.
  2. Many have heard, not many know by whom... Gioachino Rossini's La Gazza Ladra (The Thieving Magpie)..... wait for it, you know this (skip to 4:10 if you don't believe me).
  3. I use a 'tug' with way more fuel and RCS than needed to get to orbit, to restock my space station. Also, as other state, to move stuff around while building.
  4. Keyboard and mouse here... and coffee..... lots of coffee.
  5. There's like 224 or so in MS FSX... and then there's X-Plane.
  6. Bach, Brandenburg Concertos BWV 1046-1051, complete, on period instruments... the only way to listen to classical music.
  7. The Earth is flat... it's just texture mapped quite nicely onto a sphere..... without even pinching at the poles!
  8. Pretty much as the title says. I was in the middle of a launch, altitude around 23000m, when a friend came by for a visit - so I pressed Esc/Pause. I returned all of 10 minutes later to finish up putting the ship into orbit, so I could go entertain, but when I pressed Esc/Resume I got some serious lag. Not only was the ship lagging (fps), but clicking on navigation controls etc also suffered an aching delay. I ended up reverting back to the VAB... still lagging... then just exited the game. Now back in game, things are fine. This is not the first time this has happened however (from Pausing). Any ideas on what's up with this?
  9. Well... I learned today that while setting navigation hold on retrograde during a Mun decent can be helpful, it can also lend itself to disaster... especially when you accidentally throttle up too much and begin to ascend - the navigation hold continues to track retrograde, sending you into a "What the?!?!?!!" and your lander smashing into the ground. bah.
  10. That's ok, I'll likely be dead by then.
  11. The seeming majority of people on the roads these days can't drive as it is... and you want them to fly? Lord help us.
  12. Happy New Year to you (all). Was sorry to see it marred right off the bat with stampede deaths in Shanghai... 36 people died.
  13. That's Georgian for 'happy birthday! congratulations!'. I've been learning Georgian, not an easy task for me.
  14. 2 on the surface of Mun, 6 in orbit around Mun, and the rest are yucking it up poolside at the Administration building... rumor has it the pool water has been replaced with champagne.
  15. I'm playing a Science_sandbox game, and yes, I've noticed the same too. It tends to show up on my rockets while in the upper atmosphere just before going for orbit. Don't know why. Could be related to an imbalance with my payload though, several tons worth. Another thing I've noticed is, when using the Navball presets, they over-compensate and burn a lot of RCS. I do better job manually. However, I do find the one setting handy (retrograde) when dropping landers to the surface.
  16. My New Year resolution is the same as last year and every year before - to have no resolutions other than life's daily resolve wrought by normal course of life... and to avoid such forum posts. As you can see, I've already broken that resolution.
  17. Happy Birthday ... bednieri dabadebis dghe! gilocav!
  18. Dropped a lander on Mun without checking the slope beneath me... rolled the lander over and stranded the pilot. Sent a rover up to go fetch the stranded pilot... rolled the rover over and stranded another pilot. Not a good day. Now I'm going to go roll me over and get some sleep and work on it tomorrow.
  19. I must be missing something here. I've not had a Mainsail (or any other engine for that matter) detonate on me.
  20. I just read about that the other day. And here I thought I'd found Santa's workshop. lol
  21. No, single thread only. IF Unity comes out with support for it next version, and IF the KSP devs are so inclined to re-write for it... then maybe it will. There was prior discussion on this here in the forums, don't know where the thread is.
  22. Finished mapping Moho last night. Yay. Now, onward to Jool and its moons. As a side note, I noticed an interesting bright spot on Moho's north pole. It made for easy alignment of the polar orbit. There is also one on the south pole.
  23. My cousin mentioned her son had been playing it, so I checked out the demo... 2 months later, I went and bought it (since v0.23.5).
  24. Yes, I had started a new session... should have left it running while posting. Found nothing in the log. I'll send another up today. I want Moho mapped. Just finished Dres.
