This is a stillborn game, everything became clear when the developers did not add adequate support for add-ons at the start, or at least within six months, KSP1 lived for many years and continues to live only thanks to them.

Do you guys feel like this is what the fan patience deserved?
DECQ replied to RocketRockington's topic in KSP2 Discussion
The start of the game is a complete fiasco, now KSP 2 is not worth the money requested for it. Optimization at the level of amateurs, not professionals, fps drawdowns were visible in the first video, but the developers simply ignored it. Smeared textures of planets in orbit, poor aerodynamics, at times the launch complex becomes vertical, these are just my observations, I think the community has had much more problems. These are not amateurs (probably) who did the first KSP, so I see no reason to justify them. -
I agree, mods on KSP now have no amateur enthusiasm, more like a race of professionals for maximum quality, and it's not bad at all, but it doesn't have that charm. Completely different add-ons look like a carbon copy, the authors do not have a unique style.

I think he's dead, let's drink to the peace of his soul.
-
No problem.
-
This is too outdated so most likely nothing can be done.
-
I don't see any point in fiddling with this, add-ons came out that are much better in quality and more balanced, I also transferred some add-ons to other developers, so all questions are for them.
-
You can simply get the 3D models of this shuttle out of the game, make a new model by simply copying the old one, apply textures to it and adjust it as you want. Nothing complicated.
-
It seems to me easier to learn 3D modeling and create a shuttle from scratch than to make this old stuff work fine.
-
It's okay if you have the urge to accept this and publish, you are free to do so.
-
Looks nice, but it looks like you've created a thread of development in the wrong place)
-
I have not published my works for several years, and I am not going to do it in the future, the KSP community has created everything that is possible, just need to search well.
-
Is it still alive? Strange.

Perhaps you haven't cast a secret spell? -
He can do a lot, but he will not change anything, especially since he removed all the components for modding. P.S. By the way, I already forgot that I created SLS, the textures are just awful.

DECQ replied to Simog's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
A wonderful addition, it should receive more love. -
Thank you for your kind words, but unfortunately there is no longer any desire to engage in modding.

[1.2.2] Space Shuttle System new release 26.01.2017
DECQ replied to DECQ's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Gods... I thought this page has long been forgotten, but people are stubbornly trying to get something from the author, who has long transferred all the rights to the add-on to another person. People have become so lazy that they are not able to read the last few posts in the topic. -
Do what you want with him.
-
I am physically unable to update it, even if I really wanted to. Files in Blender and Unity deleted.

totm dec 2019 Russian Launch and Mission Thread
DECQ replied to tater's topic in Science & Spaceflight
In this incident, there is one plus, Soyuz again proved that this is the best and safest manned platform for all time, another thing is a drilled ship in orbit, this is idiocy. -
Only looks, but does not fly. I'm thinking of putting it for everyone who wants to make it usable.

This thread of development is officially closed. -
I was deeply mistaken when I said that the Buran is lost. I found enough working version and launched it in 1.4.5...
