As they say... The Solar System wasn't discovered in a day. Correct. With just this mod installed. You have to do the contracts. You have to research the bodies you have initiated research on. There are two different contracts. One is via the Observatory itself... and yes these take time. The second is to do the same research but via the telescope. Which are faster. This is a mild simulation of the effects of conducting this research from within the atmosphere as apposed to not in an atmosphere.

I do not understand the issue. As @blowfish says. You should not need to do custom saving, loading, etc. KSP will do it for you if you are inheriting from PartModule. The upgrades system is not breaking a pattern. It follows a different pattern. Upgrades are applied and loaded and saved differently because they must apply after everything else. I still don't understand your issue. The inherited module will do the saving and loading for you. and if you use the PartModule attributes on your fields it will save and load them for you. Sounds to me you would like to have something in a set way, that isn't something you can control when modding someone elses code. So you have to live with it and use what it gives you.

It's a known stock bug regarding KSPedia files. It's harmless.

No event happened that I was a part of. I simply don't use that tool. Never have. Nor do I have the time to maintain the metadata that is required for that mod to function. I use 7 Zip.

You are running KSP 1.3.0 with TAC LS v0.13.6 - that version of TAC LS that I released last night is for KSP 1.3.1. It will not work on KSP 1.3.0 If you want to continue using KSP 1.3.0 then you need to download the previous version of TAC LS found here:- https://github.com/KSP-RO/TacLifeSupport/releases/tag/v0.13.5.0

And it goes on from there. BDArmory throws bunches of errors. Mechjeb throws bunches of errors. and bunches more.... Eventually after many errors on startup for many mods. TAC LS throws errors. But by this time who knows, because so are bunches of other mods as well. I'd start with step 1. Clean up all the invalid/old mods in your gamedata folder and see where that gets you. Inlikely your save will still work though.

You are trying to research it how? Are you using the contracts? No it's random. based on what is in the field of view of the telescope/observatory. Yes. You can now turn it on and off in an existing save. Read back a page or two for details. Not sure which mod you are talking about? chemcam - is Tarsier Space Tech, not this mod. servos buttons - are also Tarsier Space Tech, not this mod. [edit] Showing my age.
