[1.12.x] TAC - Life Support v0.18.0 - Release 19th Sep 2021
JPLRepo replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
And according to your logs: [ERR 23:25:06.882] ADDON BINDER: Cannot resolve assembly: RSTKSPGameEvents, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null [ERR 23:25:06.882] ADDON BINDER: Cannot resolve assembly: RSTKSPGameEvents, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null [EXC 23:25:06.882] FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'RSTKSPGameEvents, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. [ERR 23:25:06.882] ADDON BINDER: Cannot resolve assembly: RSTKSPGameEvents, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null [ERR 23:25:06.882] ADDON BINDER: Cannot resolve assembly: RSTKSPGameEvents, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null [EXC 23:25:06.882] FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'RSTKSPGameEvents, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. It appears CKAN is not installing all of TAC LS. If you manually install TAC LS from the download zip from one Github, spacedock or curse and manually install all of it it should be fine. -
How to have apart NOT appear in the editor
JPLRepo replied to steedcrugeon's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Set TechRequired = Unresearchable and category = none in the part config is all you need. -
Bug Noticed During Livestream
JPLRepo replied to ZooNamedGames's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Bugs need to be reported on the official bug tracker. http://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/projects/ksp EDIT: Just realised you are using 1.1.3 and the bug around the ocean floor was fixed in 1.2. -
wHERE ARE THE PARTS??1!
JPLRepo replied to Emperor of the Titan Squid's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
That would presume a steam install. @Emperor of the Titan Squid - Please try refreshing the cache if you have installed from steam. Or re-install if you got from the store, GOG, etc. Or, as you have posted this in the modded support forum. It could be a mod causing issues. In which case, If you still have problems then please post your log files. -

[1.12.x] JSI Advanced Transparent Pods (V0.1.24.0) 12th Sep 2021
JPLRepo replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Let me see if I can reproduce it myself first (the blurred text).. got me very curious. and I'll take a look at the part setup etc over the weekend coming. Cheers! -
[1.12.x] TAC - Life Support v0.18.0 - Release 19th Sep 2021
JPLRepo replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Sorry but you can't post pictures directly into the forum. You need to upload it into a public file share like dropbox or imgur, etc. and then post a link here. What would be better than pictures, because although they help they don't save me any time and give me much information, it would be better if you can post your log and your save game so I can load it up and take a look. that saves me bunches of time not having to try and recreate your scenario from scratch. -
[1.12.x] JSI Advanced Transparent Pods (V0.1.24.0) 12th Sep 2021
JPLRepo replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Thanks. Most likely your are close (old, needs updating). I used to use these myself when I was developing JSI ATP. But have not for a while. Probably it needs config and possibly model tweaks and changes. Things like the black bar being invisible that will probably because the model does not have it's Overlay mesh setup to exclude that part of the mesh. As for the blurred text. I have not noticed that. Can you give me a better idea of the problem and how to reproduce? Is the blurred text when it's in front of a transparent pod? what happens when it overlaps both the transparent pod part and the external environment? I'm trying to work out if that is a camera/layering issue or not. also can you give me the current models and config files? and I can take a look at it. -
Yes you need to define a throttleIspCurve and throttleIspCurveAtmStrength to ModuleEngines in the config file.

[1.12.x] ResearchBodies V1.13.0 (15th May 2022)
JPLRepo replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I have a dev version already that I am still working on other parts of, that means you have to turn the TB-75 etc towards the mystery object in the sky. Sorry obviously with my coming on-board to Squad I'm a little busier than before. I haven't given up on my mods, and getting RB going with the contracts upgrade, etc is all still happening. Just probably a little slower than I'd like. There is a Dev version that works with 1.2+ available via the github links that should keep you going in the meantime. -
[1.12.x] TAC - Life Support v0.18.0 - Release 19th Sep 2021
JPLRepo replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
The settings file has not been changed at all for some time as far as resource usage/production is concerned. What I did change was the new UI settings integration with stock. But that had limitations with regard to the sliders and values. So what I did was change the UI to display the units per day or per hour, etc so they would fit into the stock slider settings. If you hover over the sliders you get a tooltip telling you what the units are. Internally to TACLS all the units are stored per second and calculations are done using the per second amounts (modified for physics frames in Unity). I'll have a look through them all to make sure nothing is wrong. But if in fact water and waste is as you say then it's always been like that which means the Kerbals are wasting away. If you are experiencing issues then if you can supply a log file and save file it can be investigated. -
[1.12.x] TAC - Life Support v0.18.0 - Release 19th Sep 2021
JPLRepo replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Shouldn't matter too much as nothing has changed that impacts TACLS and if you are using CKAN it will install the latest version regardless. -
[1.12.x] TAC - Life Support v0.18.0 - Release 19th Sep 2021
JPLRepo replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
That's ok yep. I mentioned it in the post for the update version, but I have also now updated the Changelog in the OP as well. For everyone else who missed it: Due to this and other internal changes all vessels will appear as PreLaunch after upgrading on existing saves. All you have to do is switch to each vessel for TACLS to update and start tracking them again. Sorry about that but couldn't be avoided. -
Missing science experiments
JPLRepo replied to NotAgain's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Ok, Few things I notice straight away. You have multiple Module Manager's installed including ones that are not for KSP 1.2+ AssemblyLoader: Exception loading 'ModuleManager': System.Reflection.ReflectionTypeLoadException: The classes in the module cannot be loaded. at (wrapper managed-to-native) System.Reflection.Assembly:GetTypes (bool) at System.Reflection.Assembly.GetTypes () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at AssemblyLoader.LoadAssemblies () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 Additional information about this exception: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'ModuleManager.MMPatchLoader' from assembly 'ModuleManager.2.6.22, Version=2.6.22.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'Command' from assembly 'ModuleManager.2.6.22, Version=2.6.22.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. First thing to do is clean up all the Module Manager DLLs you have installed except the latest one. 2.7+ support KSP 1.2+ You have all of these in your GameData folder: ModuleManager.2.6.22.dll ModuleManager.2.6.25.dll ModuleManager.2.7.1.dll ModuleManager.2.7.2.dll Another thing: AssemblyLoader: Exception loading 'DynamicTanks': System.Reflection.ReflectionTypeLoadException: The classes in the module cannot be loaded. at (wrapper managed-to-native) System.Reflection.Assembly:GetTypes (bool) at System.Reflection.Assembly.GetTypes () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at AssemblyLoader.LoadAssemblies () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 Additional information about this exception: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'DynamicTanks.USI_CrewTank' from assembly 'DynamicTanks, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'DynamicTanks.USI_DynamicPort' from assembly 'DynamicTanks, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type '<>c' from assembly 'DynamicTanks, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type '<>c' from assembly 'DynamicTanks, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. It appears Dynamic Tanks mod is not compatible with USI that you have installed. There are lots more errors, but I noticed you have mods like Kerbal Construction Time installed. This mod does not support KSP 1.2+ I think your issues here are you have that and possibly other mods (didn't check the whole list) installed that do not support KSP 1.2+ I would recommend you go through each of your installed mods and confirm that the version you have installed actually support KSP 1.2+ and if not, remove them and try again. -

JPLRepo replied to NotAgain's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
As you have posted this in the modded support forum I will assume you are running mods. If you can upload your logs and post a link someone might be able to help you identify the issue. Here's a link on how to: -

Crash on rendez-vous in LKO
JPLRepo replied to Jashin's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
There is a known problem with Part Highlighter and the Aero Overlay in combination. http://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/13188 The best way to avoid it is to either not use the Aero Overlay, or turn off the Part Highlighter in flight until a fix can be found. If you are using one and not the other you should be ok.- 11 replies

Crash on rendez-vous in LKO
JPLRepo replied to Jashin's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
I'm wondering if you guys can tell us if you have Part highlighting switched on in your Settings Menu? (the "Highlight FX" radio button) Also, before the crash occurs/occured had you been using the Aero Overlay at all? (F12) Asking because it may be related to a known problem where these two features are a factor in the crash.- 11 replies

No log = I can't help you. In this case as well it would be very beneficial if you can turn on the extra debug logging just before you try to switch to the vessel (can enable/disable the extra logging via the in-game Settings - Difficulty Settings menu). See the OP for info on how to capture and supply your log.

[1.12.x] TAC - Life Support v0.18.0 - Release 19th Sep 2021
JPLRepo replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
So it has just come to my attention that CKAN is not supporting TAC LS 0.12.6 correctly. I do not have the time or inclination to figure out how to code CKAN metadata. But basically it has no idea about the "Community Category Kit" which is optional and it is not installed the new Required DLL in "GameData\REPOSoftTech\RSTKSPUtils\RSTKSPGameEvents.dll". I'd recommend installing without CKAN until they resolve their data. EDIT/UPDATE: thanks to @danfarnsy , he has created a GitHub update to CKAN to fix the situation. Hopefully that will remedy the CKAN issue in the next few days when it is processed. -
I'm going to need a bit more detail. What mods do you have installed? Please provide a log. Remote Probe Control seems to be working fine with AmpYear installed. AmpYear installed and remote control if probe working fine:

[1.12.x] TAC - Life Support v0.18.0 - Release 19th Sep 2021
JPLRepo replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
V0.12.6 published for KSP 1.2.1. Big changelist. See the changelist in the OP. Please note: due to underlying internal changes you may notice existing vessels in your save appear in the TAC LS monitoring window as "PRELAUNCH" after upgrading. This is ok, just switch to each of these vessels in flight and TAC LS should start monitoring them correctly again. This should only occur once.
