Of course it will! I've already performed the mission there and back so I know it's possible and I've selected the music I will use for it already (that can sometimes take ages!). All I've waiting for to actuality record the final version is for visual mods to be compatible with 1.1

After reading the rules, it looks like this is elegible! It won't win any low lass or low part count awards but what do you think?

I've landed on Eeloo (hopefully able to get back!) using a 3.5 ton rocket! I normally build massive, over-engineered rockets but I'm having loads of fun with this tiny craft!

What is this? Why have you summoned me?

Do the Impossible: Two burns to the Mun
hazard-ish replied to OpenWorldAddict's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
Well... landing on the Mun is technically possible with one burn... I'll see what I can do -
I actually did this a few days ago but have only just got round to posting For a recent reddit challenge, I pushed the boat out and went to Tylo and back using one a single fuel tank for the entire mission without any mining or refueling! This mission involved 4 major gravity assists and took a HUGE amount of planning to get right. For those that don't know, Tylo is the hardest place to get to and return from in the game, since it is the size of Kerbin with 80% the gravity and no atmosphere (unlike Laythe) which is why I chose it for my challenge! This was the reddit challenge that I entered, keep in mind that 'hard mode' was to land on Eve. https://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/42foxh/weekly_challenge_week_114_orange_efficiency_ii/ I've spent extra time with this video getting nice camera angles and picking good music to use to make the video more interesting to watch so please check it out! Enjoy!

I built a truck. Fully stock, fully functional, complete with opening and pivoting trailer - 506 parts
-
For a recent reddit challenge, I went overboard and instead of simply reaching orbit from Kerbin's sea floor, I launched from the seabed to Eve's seabed and returned home in a single launch with no mining or docking Gilly and Minmus got a visit, too! Since this is one of the hardest things I've one in this game, I thought I'd make a video about it to share the achievment. Enjoy!

The new, longer jet engine models
hazard-ish replied to Red Iron Crown's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Sorry! Maybe I looked at the wrong thing but am I missing something? I think I'm mistaken and that he toggle-ability was just a suggestion. Sorry about the confusion! -
The new, longer jet engine models
hazard-ish replied to Red Iron Crown's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I never really minded the COM offset of jets so, in that regard, I am impartial. However, I do feel like this change only prevents unique designs whilst not making already realistic ones any better - since we wont see the internals! For example, I used to be a big fan of having jet-assisted rockets that had, say, one FL-T100 Fuel Tank for fuel (since they use it so efficiently and ascent doesn't take long) with a intake on top but now I cannot do that. I just get he feeling that the game is now focusing more on realism and less on making an enjoyable game that encourages unique and interesting designs. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the latter is certainly not the reason why I started playing KSP. Edit: I've just seen that the internals will be toggle-able. Since this is the case, I embrace the change since everyone will be happy -
Does anyone know how I could adjust the mod so that wheels produce sparks/dust all the time? Thanks

In order to prepare for extensive interplanetary SSTO missions of the future, I've started constructing a mining station/colony. Each delivery will be brought up using SSTOs and will consist of many various modules. In the second part: One of the large, expanding solar arrays to power the mining rig consisting of just under 50 separate panels! Enjoy the video

What is your favorite stock engine?
hazard-ish replied to Mad Rocket Scientist's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Definitely the RAPIER Couldn't make SSTOs without them! -
Firstly, congratulations on getting the job! Secondly, will we be seeing an atmospheric haze being added to Thatmo in 1.8.1? I asked you about it a when 1.8 was released and you said you were working on an atmospheric visual but couldn' get it quite right. My thinking is that whether or not you can see the tenuous atmosphere could alter some of the science descriptions for the atmospheric analysis and the PresMat barometer.

Part 1 of my modular Minmus mining base - built entirely by SSTOs!
hazard-ish replied to hazard-ish's topic in KSP Fan Works
Hi! Sorry, I've only just seen this comment for some reason. First off, I'm glad you like my videos - it really means a lot. Just to clarify, there will be (on the whole) a new craft for each episode since each cargo requires specific transportation so there will be will be plenty to decide which one you prefer most. I've recently moved into university which his why there hasn't been an upload for a while (although the second part is very nearly done!) so sorry about that. Honestly, I'm not that happy with the craft. It's over 700 parts and really began to slow down my laptop once I was having to load the aerodynamic forces (the final reentry procedure took over an hour from the moment I hit the atmosphere to touching down) so I'd be surprised if you wanted to use it. It also has a MAJOR symmetry issue that means you cannot alter the fuselage without it duplicating asymmetrically about 2/5ths of the time. I've got one craft that works pretty much perfectly that will be used for episode 3 (with a stock tilting cockpit) that you might want more - it has a nicer part count, too so I;ll upload that craft file once the episode is out If you still really want it then message me and I'll see what I can do though Thanks again for your support -
Happy birthday, Kasper! Thanks for everything you've done for the community
