Dragon, I don't think we're going to get Frizz to budge on this. Maybe in the future, he'll make sep motors, but for now, he needs to make the actual Saturn V first. Before that, however, the KSP devs need to release .24, and before that, the devs need to debug .24, and before that... I think we all get the idea here. tmikesecrist, no more early morning posting for you. Too many errors.

My "Dragon01 will complain in the future" senses are definitely tangling now. Perhaps NathanKell might drop by to add his two bits, as well.
-
Frizz, we need another official statement in big bold text.
-
Jeez, frizz, quit impressing us with good news. It's like you want us happy or something.

My version will have all bear crew. Don't think that makes it any different though... And as for the save file thing, users can actually just copy paste the ship directory into their save directory since the folders are exactly the same: Ships -> VAB and SPH. Yeah yeah, I know, that would require knowledge on the part of the user, what am I thinking? I'll go dunk myself into a pool of jelly now. My "Dragon01 is going to complain in the future" senses are tingling...

[0.22.X] BobCat ind. Historical spacecraft thread
Deltac replied to BobCat's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
When the Buran first came around, we did not have Tweakables. In order to open the cargo bay in the VAB, Bobcat would have had to rely upon a plugin, like firespitter, which at the time he did not want to do. However, Asmi's plugin might be slowing things down, so there goes "no mod dependencies." -
Oh, then I'll add four Titan SRB's on the side. I MUST BE DIFFERENT!
-
I'm not the only one who... right?

Woah there, kiwiak! Frizz... tank (I like that name) has stated on multiple occasions that he will not separate FASA out. You, the downloader, will just have to delete the parts you don't want. There are instructions in the pack on how to do this.

SLA panels? Oh, let me make up some coleslaw! And LOL semantics.
-
The question here is why Slop Handles? That makes me think of space pigs. I really hope we can change the model of the Kerbals' heads in the future. Space Pigs!

here's a pic of the setup. This is pre-3.85. That test didn't produce the wild pitching/yawing that I had experienced in the past, but it did try to roll, but the SAS controlled it. This is on a new install of KSP, so something might have been wrong with the previous install, but it's hard to tell. I'll just have to wait for .24 More bugs to eat.. report It would seem the new version of the Gemini parts are in need of some more attention: In the VAB with RCS balancer plugin showing bad offset of one of the thrusters on the Retro pack Thrust visual is way out there Both the retro pack and the utility pack are experiencing "far out" RCS thrust visuals. Also, I trust RCS Balancer enough to say that that one port on the Retro pack is off, but we'll see.

Bug report: The Mercury <-- picture Weird white patch over main window. Happens on a clean install of KSP with nothing but FASA and Stock. vvv not official bug report, needs testing vvv I'm also going to say this; I think the J2 might be buggy, but I'm not sure. When I tried making a Saturn 2nd stage using Novapunch fuel tanks and a Novapunch 5 engine adapter, once I get to the 2nd stage and start burning the 5 J2's, it starts pitching or yawing and Mechjeb and I can't control it. If I replace the J2's with the Shuttle engine in Novapunch, no problem with pitching or yawing. This was with Kerbal Joint Reinforcement installed, but I'm not 100% sure about this bug. If other people could confirm/deny this, that might help. I saw one person made a Saturn V using the J2 engine already, and he never said anything about problems other than the J2's apparently having too much thrust.

Because Denny admitted to being Russian and having bear friends, this must be posted: I also did not expect Denny to make an IVA for the Gemini Lander. This unexpected surprise is welcomed with bear arms wide open.

MJ support probably (and hopefully) means getting MJ to pitch the KSO properly so that node burns with MJ will go much smoother. Course I could be wrong, and will just have to deal with this.

This post went out of scope in 1654.

You have just committed Heresy. Here is a hammer with which you may destroy your monitor with.

I'm clueless as to how to properly calculate what the scale of a part will be after adjusting the rescale factor. For exampe: A 3 meter part in modeler program with default rescale factor of 1.25 becomes a 3.75 meter part in KSP. I want to increase the size of the part to 5 meters. Math: 5 divided by 3 = 1.66666somany6's. 3 * 1.6666666 = 4.99999(close enough). Set rescale factor to 1.66666, reload database, part is now bigger than 5 meter.... wat I tried searching for the comprehensive guide for rescale factor... and nothing. I'm sure there's something in a thread somewhere, but I want a thread dedicated to this unwieldy thing called rescale factor. I also don't know where this thread would belong since it involves modifying the game, but it's not talking about any add-ons.

Assuming you are using windows, you don't need Winrar to decompress .zip files. Just open them like a normal folder. If you're on a different OS, you might as well be walking on the sun.

It's been in WIP since 3 or 4 months ago.

I think you missed something, friz. This is for Cdodders, not for me. I just feel bad for the guy, getting all excited and stuff.
-
But there already were legs that were surface attach in the pack I'd rather the node versions be kept in since we can't 4x symmetry the legs. Explanation: Two probed legs can be 2x symmetry, but then one probe leg is no symmetry, and then the ladder leg is no symmetry. This can lead to slight offsets that could cause the OCD in some of us to jump out and say "NOPE." Of course, if no one else shares this concern, I'll just modular manager it, and nuke my comment.

The shader doesn't seem to hurt my rig either, no noticeable drop in FPS. I did notice that the shader only reflects Kerbin (haven't tried other craft). The side of Agena facing Kerbin looks chrome, but the side facing the sun looks sans shader. I'm sure you and the creator will iron out these kinks Anyway... I'm guessing "sometime this weekend." didn't mean test release, but rather "I'll start modelling Saturn V."? I'm sure Cdodders would like a clarification of this because of: SO MANY QUOTES!

Spelling Error? But it's always I before E except after C D:

Has anyone landed the LEM next to the Niel Armstrong Memorial?
