  1. GTA isn't running as smoothly as I'd like, so instead, I made "art".
  2. Sorry, but would you mind posting a link to the support post you made? I'd like to take a look at it, and perhaps offer some insight into what you might be missing. I was in QA for a (quite large) gaming company for a few years, and may be able to help you get the message across a little more successfully.
  3. "Another old dog," announced John. Several cats meowed. hevcyue
  4. Alarmingly, Zebras randomly attack rhinos. Hardly timid. revcjcu
  5. I think the Notepad mod might have what you're looking for... just not 100% sure you get a different note for each ship.
  6. I'm curious what their planned objectives are. Is it simply a display of prowess? Or are they gonna be doing some science up there?
  7. If you started the save as 64-bit, then had to switch to 32-bit, I believe that might be a cause. Squad doesn't support 64-bit any longer (and it was very much not recommended when it was available) Have you tried starting a new save to see if the issue still occurs? A long shot, but did you happen to move any files around or delete stock craft, or anything like that?
  8. Yeah, 60 gigs is pretty big, but I started the download last night, and it finished this morning Got a chance to play for a few minutes before work, and so far am pretty impressed. First-person view isn't exactly what I imagined, and I'll have to do some fiddling to (hopefully) get my steering wheel to work with it, but overall I'm pleased
  9. My vote went to Jeb. Hoping for the best!
  10. I bought GTA V. I... might not be around for a while
  11. Nothing wrong with being wrong! That's how we learn The problem comes when folks refuse to listen to the other side. Glad to see you're at least reasonable enough to listen
  12. Do try to keep it within the rules... Good day! I am human, companion! On Monday, God farted! Yay! lencys
  13. So that should answer your question. The invention of rockets is neither good or bad, it just is. Just like the internal combustion engine. Just like paper. Just like a sharpened edge. Just like a bullet.
  14. Militaristically-Aligned Science Quota: Undertake Every *REDACTED* Assignment, (and) Drop Everything! REDACTED
  15. Verizon's executive quotesman practiced xylophone near Dallas. idnctye
  16. Hades Jet Kart. Up to 60m/s on land, and up to 83m/s on water.

  20. Systematic Inhibition (of) Gravy Nebulae, And Territory-Upgrading Retro-Extinguisher. ALMOND
  21. Previously on Omni: precious kittens, live in Jerusalem. yrdbcy
  22. Or how about this scenario: a giant asteroid is on an impact course with Earth. Without the invention of rockets, we have literally no way to stop it (and probably wouldn't even see it til it's too late), and the extinction of mankind is assured. Or, thanks to technology, we can spot it, waaaaay out there, realize the danger, and launch a rocket to redirect it away from us. The point is, there's an infinite "what if" scenarios out there, and it doesn't do much good to dwell on them in fear. edit: Also, without rockets, we wouldn't have cell phones, (How do you think the satellites got up there?) and likely tons of other modern technology that we typically take for granted.
  23. Was playing on my "hardcore" (no quicksaves/reverts) career, brought an SSTO loaded with Jeb, Bob, Bill, and another Kerb back from their vacation (station inspection) orbiting the Mun. Things were fine til I got about 1.5 km out from the runway. Speed was down, engines off, going for a gentle coast down... ... and the wings on my right side "hit" the SPH, still a good 2.5 kms out. It went into a flat-spin, which I almost recovered, when the rest of the ship "hit" the SPH, still a good 2 kms away. There were no survivors.
  24. The "worst case scenario" should NEVER prevent scientific advance. I'm sure there were cavemen that were terrified of fire... but it didn't kill us all, did it? I mean, it could, but what matters is how it's used. Technology is, at it's core, neither good nor evil. It's all about how it's used...
