  1. And soon, Dan killed Gozer... Zuul wept. ndbdics
  2. It all depends on how you use it. I once had an issue where I put an Ion-powered ship in orbit (with tweaked Ion engines and a few other things) and, after going to KSC screen and back, it somehow gained about 100 extra tons, thus rendering it useless (TWR went from 0.6ish down to 0.006 or so). Moral of the story: Tweakscale is awesome, but be careful, and don't use it for anything you consider super important.
  3. "But," Lodin objected, "reading fickle feathers feels true!" bdgbcue
  4. I look forward to the Golden Age of spaceplanes (due to them FINALLY fixing asymmetric flame-outs!)
  5. Lots of TweakScale Down-sized the wheels, the Ion drive, some structural pieces... the Xenon container and the Battery rejected tweakscale (they'd keep going back to normal size) so I left them alone. Just make sure you don't Tweakscale the root part, or bad things can happen. Other than that, go nuts xD
  6. Made an Ion-powered Go-Kart. And then crashed it.
  7. "Have you only hobos?" Dino jeered. trghjdks
  8. Hey man, I'm sorta considering doing this challenge, and also sorta considering making my own with different rules (unless the ones here change up a bit) Main differences I'm thinking of: - More focused on tiny rovers (think go-kart sized), with penalties for going too big/heavy - Allowing (or actually encouraging) Tweakscale use to achieve this end, (Just realized you do allow this... mine however, would focus on it) - Shorter and/or different courses - But still focused on driving skill! Let me know what you think
  9. This is a topic I've wondered about extensively, particularly while... in an altered state. Strange to think how different things could potentially look through someone else's eyes. Maybe I actually see everything upside-down and with inverted colors? There's literally no way to know, since it would look normal to me. Maybe everything I see is alarmingly dis-proportioned, but the way my mind interprets it tells me everything is normal.
  10. While not recommended or strictly necessary in any capacity, I find my "Hobo Station" to be quite amusing. Basically, just send pods up and connect em with KAS when they're close enough. Bonus points if it looks like a rat's nest. I think I did this in 6.4x Kerbin, too...
  11. You might consider taking a look at some Community Challenges. There's plenty of fun ones there, and if nothing else, they might inspire you to get creative and make or do something truly unique.
  12. Laughing grimly, Mr. Zane ordered quiet, wise ninjas. urhdnck
  13. I'm thinking alternating stacks of vertical I-beams and 2x2 structural plates might be able to "crumple" (explode) the right way
  14. Got a pretty simple, darkish pic here. I'm not particular about how it turns out, but I do rather like the last pic in your album there, of the rover
  15. My first thought when I saw the Kerbals, helmets off, clustered around the ship: "ZOMBIES!"
  16. Hugo undid Grif's new yo-yo string. ksmdnch
  17. Jewish heroes are basically old, silly strawmen. [Or, Japanese heroes are brutal, old, sneaky samurai.] pejcncl
  18. Finished circumnavigating Kerbin on what is basically a dune buggy. You can read about it on the thread.
  19. And last but not least, Part 8 is now finished! Landin has fully circumnavigated Kerbin! Total time: 10 days or so. Check out the thread for details!
  20. Aaaand Part 8 is now complete! Landin's journey is at an end!
