You probably already know this, but JNSQ is 1/4 real scale. So a 4x config would be perfect to make it real scale. And if you want to downsize it, 0.375x would make Kerbin stock size.

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
OhioBob replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Start by telling me what versions of everything you are using. And to be honest, I usually can't make heads or tails out of most of the logs. Let's start with ModuleManager.ConfigCache and if I need more I'll let you know. Don't try posting any of the logs in the forum. They're just too long. You'll need to upload them to something like Dropbox.- 7,371 replies

The instructions you link to are out of date. Make sure you follow the ones here or in the Readme. It looks like you installed something incorrectly, but I can't help you further without more information. Provide the necessary logs. Sorry but we can't help you with GitHub or your Internet connection.- 7,371 replies

I don't know anything about contract packs so I can't answer. But I'm pretty sure this question has been asked before, so you may want to scroll back through the preceding pages.

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
OhioBob replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Those trees are a KSC++ asset. I don't know why they're not working. I recommend you delete the following file: GameData/GPP/GPP_KSC++/GSCUpgrades/lackPalms1.cfg (edit) I have a better solution. You want to replace the asset bundled in GPP with the new one from KSC++ Continued. 1. Delete the following folder: GameData/GPP/GPP_KSC++/Assets/LackMisc/Palms 2. Download KSC++ 3. Replace the deleted folder above with this one: KSCPlusPlus-v4.1.zip/GameData/LackMisc/Palms- 7,371 replies

Thomas' Kopernicus still works and is the go to version up through KSP 1.8.1. But that's where it ends. For KSP 1.9.1 and newer, you're going to have to use Kopernicus Continued.

[1.12.5] Grannus Expansion Pack [v1.2.8] [10 May 2022]
OhioBob replied to OhioBob's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
UPDATE Version 1.2.1 Changelog Moved Breaking Ground surface features to GEP_Primary only. Revised Breaking Ground science definitions. See opening post for download link and instructions. Regrettably I didn't test the Breaking Ground part of v1.2.0 rigorously enough. Installing GEP alongside stock KSP caused conflicts between the surface features found on the stock celestial bodies and those on the GEP bodies. The only way to fix those conflicts was to make compromises I didn't want to make. Therefore, the Breaking Ground surface features are now a part of GEP_Primary only. I also forgot to customize the Breaking Ground science definitions for the GEP bodies. That is now fixed, so the science definitions make much more sense and are planet specific. -
[1.8.1 - 1.12.1] Tidally Locked Kerbin [v1.0.3] [3 August 2020]

UPDATE Version 1.0.2 Changelog Fixed Breaking Ground surface features, should now appear on Kerbin. Fixed PQS color map, removed blue seafloor. See opening post for download link. -
[1.3.1 - 1.12.x] Outer Planets Mod [v2.2.11] [31st Aug 2024]
OhioBob replied to Poodmund's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Transfer Window Planner gives that information. Can't really give hard and fast numbers because it varies. But it we assume a Hohmann transfer and perfectly circular and coplanar orbits, the phase angles are: Sarnus - 106 degrees Urlum - 64 degrees Neidon - 49 degrees -

What do you mean by "transfer window map"? If you mean a delta-v map, here's one. There are others if you Google for them. -
[1.12.5] Grannus Expansion Pack [v1.2.8] [10 May 2022]
OhioBob replied to OhioBob's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
UPDATE Version 1.2.0 Changelog Added support for Minor Planets Expansion. Added Breaking Ground surface features. Added anomalies using Kerbal Konstructs for GEP_Primary. Enabled Randoliths on all celestial bodies. Revised stock asteroids to work better with GEP. Updated TweakChutes to work with FAR. Fixed some discrepancies between GEP and GEP_Primary. Added NEEDS to items specific to Making History. See opening post for download link and instructions. Minor Planets Expansion is a nice little mod that I recently discovered. Since GEP already supports the addition of OPM, I thought it would be nice to also support MPE. However, there are some orbital interferences between GEP and MPE that makes for a poor fit if neither is modified. This issue has been resolved by editing some of the orbits to make a nice seamless fit. MPE can be installed with GEP as either a primary or secondary system. If primary, the MPE bodies (and the OPM bodies if installed) are integrated into the GEP solar system to greatly increase the body count. Breaking Ground surface features are now a part of GEP. Most of the surface features found in the stock game have been repurposed and distributed among the GEP celestial bodies. There are stones, boulders, ice chunks, geysers, and other geological formations waiting for you to discover and sample. (Applicable to GEP_Primary only starting with v1.2.1.) Anomalies are now available for GEP_Primary with the installation of Kerbal Konstructs. There’s no new models here, just repurposing of the stock anomalies, like monoliths, rock arches, etc. These features have been spread about in far flung places, giving you additional incentive to explorer. Furthermore, Randoliths, which had been previously removed, are now back and present on all GEP celestial bodies. While the KK anomalies are a feature of GEP_Primary only, Randoliths are present in both primary and secondary installations. -
Grannus Expansion Pack, planet Taranis. I do see some errors in the logs but nothing that seems to be related to the ocean texture. If that's the case, the problem may have already been fixed. We should probably just wait and let me test it again in -3. If the problem persists, I'll let you know. (edit) I see that -3 is now on GitHub. The link in the OP still goes to -2. I'm going to test it now. (edit 2) False alarm, works fine in 1.9.1-3. Sorry to have bothered you.
-
I know there have been issues with oceans reported. I've discovered a problem that may be the same or a related issue, or perhaps something new. I have a planet in which I'm using a custom ocean texture for a lava sea. The texture has quit working in 1.9.1. I'm getting the ocean color alright, but not the texture. The top screenshot is 1.8.1-1 and the bottom is 1.9.1-2.

[1.8.1 - 1.12.1] Tidally Locked Kerbin [v1.0.3] [3 August 2020]
OhioBob replied to OhioBob's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
My point still stands, however. Reporting bugs when using a product in a manner in which it is not intended is really not helpful. Although Kopernicus Continued may not have the version lock, it is still only version 1.9.1. Until the devs say it is ready for 1.10 and officially release it as so, you're using it at your own risk. Don't complain or bother third parties with bug reports when it doesn't work. -
[1.8.1 - 1.12.1] Tidally Locked Kerbin [v1.0.3] [3 August 2020]
OhioBob replied to OhioBob's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
How are you playing in 1.10? Have you recompiled Kopernicus? There's not even a stable and bug free version of Kopernicus for 1.9.1 yet, much less 1.10. Until there's an official 1.10 release of Kopernicus, bug reports for 1.10 really aren't helpful. The bugs could very well be Koperniucs related and nothing to do with TLK. -
I wish I could answer but I really don't know anything about RemoteTech. I've never used it because I've always found stock communications adequate. Perhaps somebody with knowledge of RemoteTech can answer this. Tlit'Em doesn't work. It does tilt planets, but it has problems that the dev was never able to solve before apparently giving up on it. It's just not stable enough to use.

[1.8.1 - 1.12.1] Tidally Locked Kerbin [v1.0.3] [3 August 2020]
OhioBob replied to OhioBob's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
It's not made for 1.10. -
Please be advised that the atmosphere temperature bug that I reported is present in version 1.9.1-2.
-
We'll have to wait and see. None of us have looked at comets to see how they work yet. We need a working Kopernicus that supports them we can even consider it.
-
No idea. I don't know what the new gas planet features are yet. It also needs to get incorporated into Kopernicus, or else it's a moot point.

Thanks but we've already made that change. Unfortunately the revision wasn't made in time for the current release, but it will be in the next update. Did you change the DSN modifier to 4x in your game settings? In addition to the patch that changes the range modifier, we also recommend that you change the DSN modifier. We leave changing the DSN to you the player in case you want to make it easier or harder. 4x is just our recommendation. (Leave the range modifier in game settings at 1. Changing it trigger a bug, which is why we do it with a patch.) With both modifiers at 4x, the range between a built-in antenna and level 3 tracking station should be, Range = SQRT( rating_1 * rating_2 ) Built-in antenna rating = 5000 Level 3 tracking station rating = 250,000,000,000 Range = SQRT ( (5000 * 4) * (250000000000 * 4) ) = 141,421,356 meters

We didn't want to spoon-feed you everything. There's a thing called exploration. When you say "lowest possible orbit", I assume you mean lowest altitude in order to clear mountains and atmosphere?
