I can confirm I'm also experiencing this bug on the Xbox version. On the Map View I click on the marker but a blank window opens with nothing to click at (and my FPS drops to like 10 or 5 for some reason until I close the window). -

Btw, on observation missions there's the floating marker in Map View, should I be able to lock on it so I can see it on my NavBall? Because I remember that back in the PC I could target them, but over here even when I click on it nothing happens, a blank menu/window pops up on it but with nothing to click or select. -

LOL. It just happened to me. I have no idea where can I put that rocket. Everytime I place a rocket or engine on top or bottom of my plane (even if I use the rotation tool to point it closer to the CoM) it just spins in place. -

Tried building it but no joy. I can't steer it without the Reaction Wheels torque (which are too sensible, a small touch makes the plane turn violently in the ground). And whenever I try pitching it my speed goes down as if I was braking. Idk, I'm about to give up of this. Back in PC my planes worked, over here it's super unstable. -

Thanks. I'll try your design (although I'll have to build it by looking at the pictures since I can't copy the .craft file to my xbox game folder - but I believe it's possible) And these 6 gears might fix the problem I'm having with wheel stressing. Most of my crashes are happening because the lading gear gets destroyed for no reason. I tried taking off from the grass field nearby but the plane can barely accelerate there, seems like I'm on real grass xD. -

Anyway, on this design I've set the canard wings (actually Tail Fins because it lacks technology) to act only as elevators. Then the Elevons on the wings as Ailerons, and the Tail Fin on the Tail as Rudder. Do you guys see any major flaws in this design? Also, where and how should I place the landing gears? -

Thank you. I've been doing tests with and without S.A.S, sometimes, depending on the aircraft design, I felt like SAS was making the craft more unstable while trying to correct it on the ground, but I'm yet to test a takeoff with the Control Torque turned off, so I won't be wobbling it around as much when trying to move the landing gear only. And thanks for the picture, although I've read it a while back already, I'll try creating another plane with the guide on my side now. (Still waiting for the screenshots to be available, I don't know why KSP DVR recording and screenshots aren't going public in the Xbox). -

Sorry for not being more specific, as for the screenshots, I'll try posting as soon as they show up online. For "not work" I mean wobbling all over the place on runway, crashing and going boom. Sometimes not moving at all or going reverse even with engine on, max thrust and brakes off (as if the wheel was stuck in the ground). But the biggest problem is the wobbling, when they go past 30m/s the plane will just go crazy or roll because of the terrain. I feel like, most of the times, I don't have speed or airflow sufficient to takeoff, and if I try getting faster the craft will just go more and more unstable until it crashes. -
Hello guys. I got KSP about two weeks ago on Xbox One (Although I have some expericence from the PC version, though I had to run it at the lowest settings and 20FPS). Now, I started carrer mode and made my way on the tech tree to unlock the aviation node so I could do the observation contracts more easily (or so I though). Now the problem is, it seems to be impossible to build something that flies (or even takesoff - the uneven runway made of dirt doesn't help it much as well). I've wasted the whole night yesterday plus almost two hours now making every different type of aircraft I could imagine with the limited parts I had just to see none of them could even takeoff (some would even be stuck in place or going slowly reverse at full throttle) - I tried building STOL; HTOL; VTOL; STOVL (with parachutes for landing); assisted take-off with rockets (later to be decoupled); with elevators on front; elevators on back; with and without elevons; tried placing flaps; engines on top, bottom, wings; tailgraders and tricycle landing gears; NOTHING WORKED. Now, I know how an aircraft works in theory, I know about Lift, weight, drag, Thrust, CoM, CoL, CoT and how each must be positioned (Though I don't know how to build a craft with engine on top, should my CoT point dowards towards the CoM?) - I just wanted a design that would work having only the aviation node unlocked and all of the previous (counting both nodes after the first one in the start). I can try finding my screenshots and placing here so maybe you guys can tell me what's wrong in my designs (if xbox live don't take too long processing it and making it public). I've also read a thread made by someone with a similiar (if not exact like) title as mine, from January, but none of the designs in the replies worked for me (some I didn't even have the parts unlocked) Anyway, I guess this is it, sorry for the long thread, I'm just trying to give the more details possible, and thanks if you read it. (Just copying and pasting a comment of mine on YouTube, I think I'll have better chances of getting an answer here - Btw, I never played this mod specifically, though I've been playing KSP for quite a while already, I've just downloaded this mod a few hours ago and I don't know anything but how to activate/fire missiles/guns - Also, I couldn't find any useful tutorial on the following matters:) How do you create a scenario? Like on the "Warthog" mission you posted on YouTube, I don't think you just drove everything to the other airfield on the island. Is there an easier way to create a scenario and place units? Where can I find vehicles for downloading? Everything I tried creating (only aircrafts actually) weren't any well manoeuvrable, but I tried searching on the internet for other models and couldn't find anything. How do you get that cool smoke/flames animation/texture when something's hit or destroyed? Like when your aircraft is struck by a missile and one of the wings falls off, then it starts flaming there. I also have no idea on how to deploy flares or EMC countermeasures (currently using the latest version - action groups as well, or did it change on the last version?), nor how to place AI drones and actual fighters so I can practice shooting and dogfighting. Do you just create one, land, then create another, land, and so on until you have every unit created and ready for a fight, then you manually have to fly them away or something (in the case you want to have an Air to Air Medium altitude head-to-head combat)? That seems like a lot of work to do to create a simple mission, though I have no other idea on how to do it (May I also say that I have no idea on how to activate AI flying units?). Also, does anyone know where can I download an already made mission (savegame)? I've tried "googleing" it but, not surprisingly, haven't found anything... again. Anyway, thanks for the mod! It's amazing how the missile physics work! Edit: Is there a way to disable the purple markers/labels so I'll have to rely only on the missile warning and smoke trails in the case a missile is fired towards me? -
I'm also getting some mass lagging during this tutorial, it's not unplayable, but it surely drops to something between 15 and 20 FPS. My timer at the top of the screen also seems to turn yellow/red then, I don't think this is happening due to my graphics settings because normally it doesn't lag like that. If you find a fix please tell me , I'll be up with the thread.

Could someone explain me what are all the other mod folders for (besides the B9 Aerospace folder), also, I suppose I should not move the "B9_Aerospace_DEPRECATED" to my GameData folder, right? By "all the other mod folders" I mean the Firespitter; JSI; Klockheed_Martian_Gimbal, etc., Can I overwrite it if I do download the actual mod files? Because I can see they aren't the entire mod, Firespitter for example has only a plugin file inside. Oh, and for installing mods like Hot_Rockets, by "Install before B9" you mean moving Hot_Rockets files first and then B9 to Gamedata folder? I can't see what difference that will do.- 4,460 replies

Guys, I have the B9 r4.0 installed, do I just install this one overwriting the files inside my GameData? I couldn't find it anywhere on how to update this mod. I was going to uninstall (remove from GameData) all folders from r4.0 B9 and put these inside. But I found out that this Release 5 B9 folder I just download is way smaller than the r4.0 I already have installed, as if this doesn't have all of those parts. So, what do I do?- 4,460 replies
