  1. Not stale nor abandoned. It will be part of my mod updates. I would appreciate PRs for any issues that you may have found. I have nearly 200 mods to update. I’ve started on the infrastructure changes I’ll need to do this, but don’t expect to start any releases until next week sometime.
  2. Forum user @alexustas made this 5 years ago, and told me he wasn't going to continue it. With his permission, I've revived and updated (with help) this little rover A short video, demonstrating rover assembly: New release reviewed by Kottabos: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks to Mihara for the original idea of foldable on-location assembled rover as well as help and support. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The mod has been updated to use either stock wheel modules or the KSPWheel mod. There is an odd interaction if you are using the stock wheel modules and drop one of the wheels on the ground. 3. First remove all the mods, then see if it's a problem. If it isn't, then add one at a time. Also, virtually every mod which has DLL files will need to be updated, you will not get support or sympathy if you use an older mod which hasn't been updated for 1.8.0
  4. Yes, although for various reasons I won't be able to start my updates until next week.
  5. Do either of you have any mods installed? I am aware of at least one if not more mods which provided that functionality. I haven't seen this in stock 1.8
  6. LOL For various reasons, I won't be able to start updating until next week
  7. If you had read the post above, you would have seen that they are on 1.7.3. @VoidSquid gave the correct information
  8. New beta, 0.0.0.6 https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/ModularSegmentedSRBs/releases/tag/0.0.0.6 Fixed issue when sometimes during a RUD, the top end of a SRB stack would spew thrust while the motor shut down Replaced effects of open ends Replaced all Destroy(this) with part.RemoveModule(this) Reorganized all part configs to make them all have the same format Merged the multiple EFFECTS stanzas in each file Added flameout stanzas to the effects for the open ends Added reasonable cost values Made the additional items in nosecone optional Fixed missing crashTolorance fields Added code for thrust variability, but disabled at present Cleaned up a log of disabled code Known issues Cost values for the 1.875 and 2.5 have not yet been completed
  9. There is a special class of SRB fuel which is electrically triggered. Meaning that it will only burn in the presence of electricity. Regarding throttling, not directly, but it is possible to tailor the SRB to have a specific thrust curve
  10. If you want the looks, use the bigger tank, but don't fill it up all the way. Just put in it the same amount as the smaller tank would hold
  11. Remove all the mods and try the game. Very few, if any mods compiled for 1.7.3 and before will work on 1.8
  12. No. The mod deals with one resource at a time, combining multiple on one screen is still a problem
  13. Do any of you have ANY mods installed at all? If you are running it from Steam and you haven't copied it out of the steam folder, then you need to manually delete the entire KSP director and reinstall
  14. Adoption is complete, updated mod released for 1.7.3 New thread is here: Please move any conversation about my version to the new thread
  15. Originally written by @BahamutoD, then maintained by @Papa_Joe, this mod has been abandoned for too long, so I'm adopting it. Original thread here: https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/72457-11-improved-chase-camera-v16-apr-23/ Previous thread here: https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/173436-14x-improved-chase-camera-v1621-apr-13-2018/ Availability Download: https://spacedock.info/mod/2249/Improved and Updated Chase Camera Source:https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/ImprovedChaseCamera/ License: GPLv3 What is Improved Chase Camera? This plugin gives you the option to make the camera follow your surface velocity vector. This gives you a better feeling on how your plane is moving, its angle of attack, sideslip, etc. Press Tab to toggle. (You can change the key in settings.cfg). Toggling it off and on will bring it back to the default view angle. Set autoSnap to true in the config to have it always snap back to default angle. The default view angle can be changed in the config file as well. Two modes: 1. Toggle while in Locked mode: Camera rolls with plane. 2. Toggle while in Free mode: Camera stays level. Chase mode:
  16. I'm going to be adopting this mod, hopefully it will work in 1.7.3
  17. That may be a quirk of PP. To determine, load a vessel, add a stock part, go into a sim, and then return. If the part is still there (as I expect it to) then it’s something with PP. Let me know either way. If you can get me a log file, I might be able to figure out whats breaking in KRASH. Sounds like a nullref is happening somewhere
  18. Takes time. If you dont like the AVC message, then just delete the .version file, or use the AVC dialog to trll it that all 1.7 mods are fine
