[1.8.1-1] [PLEASE FORK ME] Kopernicus & KittopiaTech
linuxgurugamer replied to Thomas P.'s topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I spent a while thinking about this before replying. For the record, my initial thought was to write a whole lot of expletive-deleted aimed at you, for just about the stupidest suggestion I have ever heard of in these forums I support, among other mods, Editor Extensions Redux, and last year, someone did the exact same thing you mentioned here. My code has lots of comments as to why it should not be done, and what had to be done before a version was unlocked. My thread ended up filled with people complaining that the version he posted wasn't working etc, to the point where I had to have the moderators clean out the thread. And, Kopernicus is tremendously more complicated than EEX. For the record, you should edit your posting and delete those comments because you are causing nothing but trouble. -
[1.8.1-1] [PLEASE FORK ME] Kopernicus & KittopiaTech
linuxgurugamer replied to Thomas P.'s topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Seriously, is there any harm in waiting A-day or 2 or maybe a few more for a modder, who does this for free, to get out an update? -

[1.4] SpaceY Expanded, v1.5 (2018-04-02)
linuxgurugamer replied to NecroBones's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
There is an issue with the Vernier. It's using the old ModuleRCS, which is why the plume is backwards and very large. I've written a patch to fix it. The patch is good for 1.4 and 1.5 Just drop the following into the GameData directory, call the file MM_SYvernier1.cfg, or download it from this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jajttxynlhlf1je/SpaceYVernierPatch.zip?dl=0 License for the patch is the Unlicense -

[1.4.1] Fuel Tanks Plus 2.0.2 (2018-03-14)
linuxgurugamer replied to NecroBones's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I just did a totally clean, 1.5.1 install. The only mods I installed were the two SpaceY mods and ModuleManager. I tried a number of engines at the bottom of a number of SpaceY tanks, and there wasn't any gap in any of them. Are you running any other mods, and if so, which ones? I checked all the tanks, putting a number of Squad retextured tanks on top and a variety of SpaceY tanks on the bottom. I didn't see any gap. Are you running any other mods, and if so, which ones? -
Important KVC-AVC and MiniAVC Update now available
linuxgurugamer replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Yes, it will be one of the first. I wanted to get it fixed for 1.4 first, also had some housekeeping to do for 1.5 -

For all modders: I just released an update for the KSP-AVC and, more importantly, a new MiniAVC.dll which fixes some small bugs which were preventing it from properly reporting certain new updates. Please download the update from here: https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/KSPAddonVersionChecker/releases/tag/1.2.0.3 and update the MiniAVC.dll in your mods, if you are including it. Thank you Edit: New release fixes a build problem for the MiniAVC.dll

[1.12.x] RetractableLiftingSurface Module released
linuxgurugamer replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Not at this time. I would have to contact the kOS developers to find what they would need to be able to do that. In fact, since you have an interest, could you do that and get back to me? I'm rather busy getting ready to rebuild all my mods for 1.5 -
I'm reviving the old NovaPunch mod, and some of the parts are in deep need of retexturing. I am hoping that someone would be willing to put in a little time to do this. If needed, I may have the original files for the parts, but would have to pull them out of an archive of the entire mod's assets. This zip file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wxchlw5a97ftv08/NP_parts_NeedingRetexturing.zip?dl=1 has 14 parts in it which seem to be the worst (aka oldest) needing retexturing I believe that some of them share textures. The NovaPunch folder goes into the GameData directory, all the files I included are in their correct locations. Some of the parts share textures: The two decouplers seem to be the same except resized In the FuelTanks, the NP_K1_Stages, appear to have two textures duplicated, if so, then you only need to do one.
