  1. Click on the yellow wrench, see if it's enabled. Again, I can't do anything other than guess without a log file
  2. Do you know which mod did that? This makes it harder, I'm not about to install Kerbinside, that will take up too much time. Have you contacted that author about this problem? Seems there may be an api problem??? I'll still poke at Waypoint manager, but really sounds like something going on with that mod(s). Those waypoints it adds, are they listed in WaypointManager? I assume so, just want to verify

  5. I have a problem which is caused by a vessel keeping the same vessel id after undocking and then redocking. Would it be a problem if the vessel id was changed? The problem arises when a vessel undocks into two. One vessel gets a new id, the other keeps the same id. I'm trying to preserve certain information in the command pod for each vessel when undocked, but share new information when docked. I'm currently using the vessel id for this. The issue is when redocking, since the original vessel id is the same, data which was supposed to be private to each command pod is shared from the original vessel to the newly-docked vessel. I think that if I ensured that the vessel id of undocked vessels gets replaced, the problem would be resolved. Thanks, and Happy New Year to all

Seems that if you specify the name of the transform in a parameter called cameraName: cameraName = transform The following is added to all parts which have ModuleDockingNode via a patch called MM_KSPCamera.cfg: MODULE { name = DockingCameraModule noise = false } so you would have to play around with the patch to exclude certain parts, and then add the module with the camera name via another patch. If no camera name, then it defaults to a transform called "dockingNode", i think
  9. Thank you for mentioning that it works on the stock system. I don't need the logs in this case. Just to confirm, it only adds 1 day in total, no matter how many years pass?

      I'm in IT; I've dealt with too many prima donna coders who cause way more problems than they fix because they won't take advice. I might not have a lot of coding talent myself, but I have enough experience to see code problems and why they're problems. :wink:

      Me too.  I have over 35 years of development experience before I moved up, still love to code.  And atitudes like what I just encountered are the reason projects sometimes fail

  17. Patcher DOES NOT WORK, you need to download the whole game unless using Steam I think the patcher was intended to be more of a torrent patcher than an rsync patcher Rsync, not torrent
  18. there is no patch, you need to download the new version. If you are using Steam, it will update automatically.
  19. And last night, were you running 1.1.1, and today, are you running 1.1.2?

If you would go over to the KIS & KAS threads, you will see that they are looking into the problems I'm slowly working through the mods I support to change the supported version to only those releases I've been able to test. I'm doing this because I don't want to have to deal with comments and feelings like what have been expressed in this thread. The unfortunate result is that, even if one or more of my mods are compatible with a new release, they won't run until I update them. This will delay the ability of people to play with the mods. Most mods will work without any change, so all these comments are doing are hurting players. I actually had a report earlier that KWRocketryRedux parts were getting segfaults IN A TOTALLY DIFFERENT MOD. It wasted my time looking into this, and I can only imagine what other mod authors are dealing with
  21. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't KAS/KIS still only for 1.1? There were some rather significant changes from 1.1 to 1.1.1 and 1.1.2. I found out the hard way when I had to update EditorExtensionsRedux for the new releases. Is the game crashing for you in a plain stock mode?
  22. The game has been playable for years, I started when it was 0.25. I agree, the game has bugs, but they are continuing to work on them, as evidenced by this latest release. There are lots of other, much more expensive games, which are unplayable even years after they were released. I'm sorry you feel this isn't unplayable, but I can say that a local high school engineering team made the state finals in a space mission problem solely as a result of my having pointed them towards this game
