[1.0.4] Smart Parts v1.6.6 | DDS Textures and Bug Fixes | July 5
linuxgurugamer replied to Firov's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I found the problem. The KSPAPIExtensions.dll was out of date in the MagicSmokeIndustries/Plugins directory as well as the SmartParts/Plugins directory. Once I replaced both of them, it started to work properly again -

[1.0.4] Smart Parts v1.6.6 | DDS Textures and Bug Fixes | July 5
linuxgurugamer replied to Firov's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I know :-( For now, I'll just ignore it, and keep checking. Maybe when I finish this set of missions I'll have time to do that troubleshooting. Not looking forward to it though, I have about 100 mods installed. Check with CKAN, i see that I have three other mods installed which deal with fuel, but they all have been updated for 1.0.4: Fuel Tanks Plus Modular Fuel Tanks TAC Fuel Balancer -
[1.0.4] Smart Parts v1.6.6 | DDS Textures and Bug Fixes | July 5

Unfortunately, this didn't work. I started getting other strange errors when trying to set the value, such as the right-click menu missing lines -
I'm getting it also. Unfortunately, it doesn't indicate which copy of the dll is generating it. I have this installed in the following locations: MagicSmokeIndustries/Plugins/KSPAPIExtensions.dll ModularFuelTanks/Plugins/KSPAPIExtensions.dll ProceduralFairings/KSPAPIExtensions.dll ProceduralParts/Plugins/KSPAPIExtensions.dll SmartParts/Plugins/KSPAPIExtensions.dll TweakableEverything/KSPAPIExtensions.dll TweakScale/plugins/KSPAPIExtensions.dll This is on a 1.0.4 install, some of those above are from mods which were 1.0.2 compatible.

I would go with: S S-S-S -
If you have their permissions, I don't see why not. Just check the licenses before you do that to be sure you are allowed to redistribute each mod. That being said, i think you are putting yourself in for a lot of work. It might make more sense to create a set of CKAN files, which can be used with the CKAN program to install a complete set of mods via CKAN. Admittedly this will only work with those mods which support/are supported by CKAN, and there are apparently a few mods out there which CKAN still has problems with. That being said (I think I like this phrase), I use CKAN to maintain my installs, and on my current game have 100 mods installed and updated by CKAN. LGG

Hi, I'm working on a launcher, and am trying to use Stage Recovery to save some money. The first stage is a pair of SRBs, with sepratrons to push it away when decoupled. Second stage is a pair of liquid tanks with engines, also with sepratrons, and the main stage is a single 3.75 meter stage. I need the sepratrons because without them, the separated boosters sometimes collide with the ship. But, when I use them, I get the following in the Flight Results The amount of damage doesn't appear to be significant, since I am now getting most of the parts and cost being recovered. But it concerns me when I see that the EnergiaQuad was damaged, since that is the main engine of the main stage. I also tried stepping the sepratrons down to 50% thrust, but that didn't help. Is this inevitable, getting some minor damage like this? TIA [00:00:00]: Liftoff!! [00:00:47]: Separation of stage 8 confirmed [00:00:47]: sepMotor1 was damaged by engine exhaust from sepMotor1. [Abandoned] Multi-monitor screen space
linuxgurugamer replied to Crzyrndm's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
No logs that I can see. I'm pretty sure it was a Windows error, not KSP. I'm using an nVidia video card with 4 monitors attached. I'll need to reconfigure the nVidia driver to join the monitors together and see what happens. I'll let you know what I find. -

Just an FYI, I did see it work, very nice. -

linuxgurugamer replied to Crzyrndm's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Sorry, I think you are very wrong! Don't blame KSP for your problem with using two different video cards & drivers. I would guess that on ANY os, using two different sets of drivers at the same time would cause problems. LGG - - - Updated - - - Well, I just tried it, and am getting an error from Windows saying that it couldn't change resolution. I think I may need to change the nVidia settings to make them all look like one large display Edit: Looks like it is an OpenGL error, it starts up when I don't use that. This could be a problem, since I need opengl to run. -

linuxgurugamer replied to Crzyrndm's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Hmmm. So what this means is that streaming and capture software will see it all as a single window. -
This mod, while working, is not really necessary on the current version of KSP, since the game and most mods are now using dds for the texture storage. The only other thing I could suggest would be to use the -force-opengl option. On my game, with >90 mods, the memory usage at initial startup goes down from 3.7 gig to about 2 gig

OK. Might I suggest that you add some notes to the first page/instructions talking about the differences between the landing gear? FYI, I was using the LT-02 because of the vertical height it provides, to provide clearance for the engine. Thanks -
On June 16, I had surgery to donate one of my kidneys to someone who needed it. Both surgeries went well, and I just saw the surgeon for a followup. He remarked how I was one to two weeks ahead of other donors in my recovery. I told him it was simply Jebediah exercising my brain cells. Love this game, even with all the warts. Pant, pant. I have 4 monitors in a 2x2 config. So, will this be able to use them? and One of my top monitors is a different size and resolution. Would this be a problem? Would be willing to beta test if you like. -

I see three diferent landing legs: LT-05, LT-1 and LT-02 (BTW, the LT-05 version you created does NOT have the Kerbokatz in the name) For Minmus, which one should I use? Thanks LGG -

Hi, I've been trying out your AutoBalancingLandingLeg mod. I'm testing it on a 1.0.4 install. Got the following problems: 1. Mechjeb doesn't automatically extend the legs (I selected the LT-2 Landing Strut KerboKatz) 2. It doesn't seem to work. I landed on a slope, and it didn't do what your pics showed. LGG
