I think it was a combination of 2 things. Shaddy being out of date as well as Shabby. I had Shabby 0.2.0 which apparently does not like Textures Unlimited and will cause the pink textures I'm getting. I've updated Shabby to 0.3.0 which says it fixes the... for lack of a better word "Handshake" problem between Shabby and TU. Now I just have to wait an hour for KSP to load.

    I should probably really go through my list and update all my mods... problem is I have between 250 and 300 mods... ;.;

I downloaded your log to find an excrements ton of mods. i recon you have half the fourm in there haha. modding ksp is an addition and i can say we are both addicts

    ANNOUNCE

Release 2.4.6.23 is available for downloading, with the following changes:

    • The fix for the ScaleType Migration Code on 2.4.6.22 ended up creating a new bug on the TweakScaleRogueDuplicate security feature, leading KSP rigs infected with this problem to crash when trying to save the game.
      • My bad. Really sorry.
      • HUGE KUDOS to GoAHead on Forum for their invaluable efforts on helping me on the diagnosing this problem. I would not had done this one by myself.
    • Closes Issues:
      • #290 Regression on handling the TweakScaleRogueDuplicate patching problem.
      • #289 Yet another unexpected Misbehaviour, this time on PartModule.OnSave.

    See last NOTAM for details.

On a side (and sad) note… I still don't know why the code on 2.4.6.22 had to be written (salvo for this unhappy line of code that I let pass unchecked). Sooner or Later™ I will need to revisit this issue.

    Disclaimer

By last, but not the least...

      Reveal hidden contents

No Module Manager was harmed during the development of TweakScale.

This Release will be published using the following Schedule:

    • GitHub, reaching first manual installers and users of KSP-AVC. Right now.
    • CurseForge. Soon™.
    • SpaceDock (and CKAN users). A bit less Soon™.

The reasoning is to gradually distribute a potentially Support Fest release in a way that would me allow to provide proper support if anything else goes wrong - as it did with .22...

Thanks for all the work you have doing with TweakScale.  I cant even begin to imagine how hard it is maintain all while everyone is quick to point the finger when its broken. Thanks for being super transparent (even if it goes over my head most of the time), and thanks again for keeping TweakScale working (knock on wood). You are Amazing Lisias

I will be sure to let you know if i encounter any errors with the new build.

OK, checking out the config on the wheels.  I'm comparing them to the "Rugged" TR2-L and standard rover "M1" wheel

Missing all friction bias behavior values.

Suspension range is WAY too low
Suspension target is WAY too low,
Spring ratio is WAY too low

Steering curve is not using separate "steeringMaxAngleCurve" function

Low End Torque is WAY to high.
Max Brake torque is INSANELY too high.

If you Blackheart wants I can go ahead and rewrite these entirely to start, then get on more sane weights for everything else.
If they have a github page I can just upload the files once I get a working pattern.

You could make it a MM Patch

Your problem is not this "damn mod". The problem is the damn crappy patches you installed on your rig, and I strongly suggest you start considering carefully about restricting yourself from installing things on it without the proper care.

I had this issue for many moons with no thought of a fix, just thinking it was yet another quaky side of Tweakscale. Any tips on finding the crappy patches to fix this in future?

@blackheart612Will Airplane plus be updated to KSP's current version? (1.12.5)

Did something break in 1.12.5? I do know a few people were gonna adopt it but im not sure how that project is going.

What is the latest version anyways? need to download this my self and i dont even know which version/github to get this from

Mk3 Shuttle Pack (aka Shuttle Lifting Body) is required to use this add-on.

Shared textures are engines>CA_STME and shuttleStack>CAet

Let me know if you ever hear back, I even asked a few years ago with no answer.

I asked once a whe ago.

You can always use MM to patch it, I've done that successfully for several mods

MM Patches can only do so much it realistic needs a repack. Firespitter is out of date and broken and even some textures are broken.  I would love for @Pak to return just to let someone take over or amend the license to allow for someone to adopt it.

where are the shuttle block 2 parts? i mean, the normal shuttle parts are and work fine (excepting the payload bay parts) but the shuttle block 2 seems to have disappeared

Broken textures for the payload parts?  Pak adopted and absorbed  Shuttle Payload Technologies into the mod but something messed up with the textures. you can grab the textures from SPT and fix them.

    Does Waterfall work with this?

I will look into making a MM Patch for that, No Promises but I should be able to give it the Waterfall SSME configs.

is there any chance we could get one last update with working rain birds and an Ariana V pad and umbilics?

Also do you plan on making MLP for ksp 2 when it comes out?

i dont think MLP will be required for KSP2 since it comes with better launch pads out of the box but I for sure know people will want specialized launch pads for KSP2. I dont think alpha will return to fulfill that want this time around

The RSS/RO group is responsible for the RSS configs for this, not Benjee.

As for the "Thrust is off" errors, that's due to the fact that the RSS configs simulate the tail-off in thrust that occurs toward the end of booster burn, but MechJeb doesn't know about that. It assumes solid boosters burn at 100% thrust all the time. As for what you could do about it, you can force MechJeb to wait to start the PVG until after the boosters separate ("PVG after stage X", or something similar)

The PVG settings in the user manual are also designed for stock-ish sized systems, and the stock shuttle. RSS will likely require different settings to work correctly.

Is that also an issue with proton corp srbs that tail off towards the end of burn?
