  1. See, I never understood how to do that... I know that's how it's done IRL but geez it's hard when you're used to being able to expend ~750-1,000 in a rendezvous.
  2. It has about the same amount it has in real life! If they can do it with the real Soyuz, I believe in you!
  3. There's some pretty nice Titan parts, including the SRMU in BDB!
  4. Are the docking ports that appear on the three spacecraft available to be changed via config like the RCS thrusters on the upper stage tank? If so, what do you suppose is the max diametre docking port usable on the Soyuz orbital module?
  5. Not quite yet, I don't think, but it will be.
  6. Every single mod I've seen fails to add the upper stage for the Ariane 5... Please don't be another one of those guys. Looks nice though, yo. Do you need any help with modeling? I'd love to contribute!
  7. You mean the little fairing a that taper inwards? I was stressing that in my rant the other day too..
  8. Well jeez, there's not much point in doing them then, huh? I tried. :l
  9. I'm having... Trouble... Making RP configs. The flare on the F1 engine doesn't move no matter what I type in... They'll get done though.
  10. Here, I gathered some reference for you for the various different stages! ~Long post warning~ Third stage engine. Second stage engine. First stage engine. Don't forget the spoilers... I had no idea they were assembled like that... the main engines are pretty much just boosters. The third stage engine again, but without the... fabric... shroud... thing... And probably the most notable part of the Proton rocket: The failure rate!
  11. How could you come onto this thread and advertise your own mod, how dare you self promote like this. Have you no shame?
  12. When you make the new Gemini, will you please make the rendezvous engines and the retro pack separate? Also more realistic RCS set up?
  13. Man, I haven't used this since the very beginning of it's development, but I just watched the video in the OP and I think the sound of the RS-25 roaring alive and the FX just sold it for me. Getting this again.
  14. 2.5m seems a little small, no? That's only 50% of the real one! It's nice to have it a little OP than way too small..
  15. If you re-make the CLV you'd better include the ATV config upper stage. Update: Look what I did! I made an awesome direct-descent lander with some of the new TKS/Salyut parts! This is actually the first time I've bothered landing people on another celestial body in x3 scale KSP... it's a lot harder than stock. Tbh I was desperate to use the new course correction engine. I don't know why, but I love it. It'll see many uses.
  16. Is there any plans for some sick Vulkan upper stages? That'd be sick.
  17. Oh, pfft, how could I be so absent minded. I use the third stage tank for a few things myself. I never really play the game in game modes where losing a particular part will destroy the entire save, so I guess it just doesn't matter to me. But that seems self centred, no? So I'm just going to let everyone else the proportions, but my statement about the first stage engine remains the same! Update: HooooOOOooooOOOoOo buddy. I just realized the exsistance of the "unflown" section of the Russian rockets on Andegraf.... Good god... We need some of THAT.
  18. I say fix the proportions on the current proton. It's not like it'll break many saves. Who keeps an expandable rocket floating around anyways? The most notable thing I think that needs to be changed is the position of the engines on the first stage. They need to be scooted in towards the centre. And then the little spoiler things around the first stage engines taper inward irl, yours taper outward. Just my 2 cents. :3
  19. Yes! We'd just need a RD-0124 and we'd have a whole Angara! Plus those engines would be hella to have in a stock-alike feel... Ow... My heart... I'm conflicted between staying with my girlfriend or marrying you. Kidding, of course, but good god that's pretty!
  20. What about an RD-0146? Very unique! Also is the first Russian engine to ever include an extendable nozzle! (if they so choose, like how it's applied on the new Angara upper stage.)
  21. Oh! Will you take suggestions for new engines, too? Keep up the good work!
