  1. I think I'll be skipping the Jool aerobrake. Will 8 km/s still be enough with a Tylo gravity assist into Jool orbit?
  2. Science mode is pretty good for offering a limited selection of parts, and giving a clear goal, without being boring.
  3. Are those times and dates UTC? 4:00 PM EST until when? Has the person who will by flying the LV test-flown it yet?
  4. That sounds perfect! I figure that once we've got one launch to show, we'll get more people.
  5. If you try to make one, make sure to timewarp after you decouple the object-to-be-flung, or the wheels won't grab it.
  6. Since this thread hasn't had much activity, and I don't want this to die, I think we should try to do a launch ASAP, even if we don't have enough members. In related news, I've made a spreadsheet, a better way of tracking when members can or can't do it: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1a_1wJ__kjNWw0SzEcl3PE8eTo2Cdx6PawNl4hYD8V_A/edit?usp=sharing And I still need info about when you're available every week from: @ZooNamedGames @Dman979 @MysteriousSteve @CliftonM @Gaarst I don't care how you get this info to me, you don't need to edit anything, you can just PM me on the forums, but I will need this info at some point.
  7. Thanks! Unfortunately, it still doesn't work on Kerbals. Yet... I'm uploading a video of a newer version right now. Yes, these are 1.0.5 wheels.
  8. I've thought about this too, and here's what I'd do: Make the engines modular, so you can mix-'n-match MCCs, turbopumps, gimbals, and nozzles.
  9. Wearing docking ports like a hat before it was cool:
  10. Nothing, really, just fooling around with that kind of mechanism and uses for it.
