  1. Use launch clamps. Install Kerbal Engineer Redux, and make sure your rocket's thrust to weight ratio (TWR) is between 1.3 and 1.7. When you want to land somewhere, check the wiki for if it has an atmosphere or not, so you know what methods to use to land there. Heatshields have more ablator than is necessary for a LKO reentry. Kerbin atmo ends at 70,000m, make sure your periapsis is above that. Have fun!
  2. Amazing! I don't think I'm going to try it, since even looking at these pictures makes my computer tremble.
  3. Looks nice! However, it probably doesn't need four landing gears in the back. Nice video, too.
  4. Do what a kerbal would do, and replace it with a staple!
  5. Is this all a set up for a terrible rocketdyne pun? Have a replike.
  6. I think you just post on this thread, and then ZooNamedGames will contact you.
  7. Mediafire links were recently removed, see this post for details: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/130041-mediafire-links-removed/
  8. I'm not official in terms of role management, but from what I understand, we need anyone who can help! Here's a list I compiled, it shouldn't be too out of date:
  9. Okay, so have you seen this video, by @Cupcake...? That mothership at the very start uses a Mk3 engine adapter, a bit like yours! Have you considered adding a Mk1 crew module like in the video here? It looks great, though!
  10. I'm planning on only putting one kerbal in each of those two-pod pods, would that be a problem?
  11. At least they didn't get the Earth-observation (Climate change) satellite budget cut, like NASA.
  12. Okay, I'm going to replace the Mk1 tanks with Mk3 tanks. This thing's useful, although I've forgotten how to use it since the last time I used it: https://alexmoon.github.io/ksp/
  13. I was thinking of releasing it after I've built the whole series from 40t-100t.
  14. B-pod, eh? Well, you could always remove those cargo bays and use Mk3 crew modules inline. Other wise, 3x symmetry on mk2 crew modules makes an approximately 2.5m form-factor 12 kerbal pod.
  15. That's a clever alternate way of making a linked image, I'll add that. As RIC pointed out, that doesn't remove the grey lines.
  16. I think I might give this a try, since I just got my RO/RSS 100 ton to LEO lifter out the door. Here's my tentative design for a mothership: To be called "What instructions?" The landers will dock below the science lab. Will 4296m/s delta-v without landers do it?
  17. It looks to me like they're both; that is, an RW clipped into a battery.
  18. 100 tons to LEO, right here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Pr6AYHH33FG0kHEa34BNi56hii6CVd4bTTYyNMLwkXU/edit?usp=sharing
