  1. HMS Hood has had some progress with the smokestacks area detailed and also given rockets and guns!
  2. I decided to give up on trying to balance the ship out, since RealShips 0.1 is coming out anyway. However, i've completed the conning tower and bridge. I just need the control top to be finished to have the front effectively complete.
  3. The only problem is that some ship hulls have not so straight shapes, especially with stuff like bulges and such.
  4. I'm working on the HMS Hood, and while the ship floats well, it might be floating too well... It floats rather high in the water, especially in the back, and i've tried many solutions such as strapping 20 building foundations and even more water tanks (not at the same time), but it still can't fight against the floatiness of the ship completely, despite reaching 100K tons+.
  5. Yep, Prince Of Wales. I would like to do the Ark Royal too, but I probably won't be able to make it in time for the 75th Anniversary. Edit: Here: Here's to cap off the day, I've gotten the first floor up done, i'm working on balancing the ship and adding detail and the superstructure. The wing connectors are just showing the actual smokestack length, and the center part is just showing the space between that.
  6. I've finished the HMS Hood's hull. I was on vacation for a few days, so I didn't get that much done, but I have gotten the Hood to float.
  7. Here's the end of today's work, with the HMS Hood's hull almost complete, with just the bits of the stern and bow to finish. Once the hull is finished, I can start building the somewhat easier to interpret superstructure.
  8. I meant a Block-D, but I mixed them up because I haven't though lab out that in quite a while.
  9. It goes... To Eve? That's a Breeze-M, and Russians launch many probes at Venus right? Now to my own update: Construction on HMS Hood has started! I've built 23 or so hull frames, to help guide the construction of the real hull.
  10. Fabian why...! That was an interesting twist. Those crayons are a surprisingly good way to draw pictures. I see the title is a reference to Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
  11. The wiki measurements are a bit basic, but I suppose they can still help. KJR unfourtunatly is that one required mod. Now what could have caused such an explosion?
  12. The one with all the smoke effects for damaged parts? Yeah. I think it's DestructionFX.
  13. Also, I wonder if any of you can help me collect sources for my HMS Hood project, I've found plenty of good ones, but none of them have dimensions.
  14. The reduced part version is out for the less fortunate, at a somewhat less shock inducing... 636 parts. DOWNLOAD
  15. Testing a modified version of @Azimech's Arado Ar196. The part of the bottom floaty bit (bad name?) gets destroyed on deployment right now, and I don't plan of making it rotatable.
  16. Shouldn't you list the part count? Awesome submarine! Now I wonder how it would work against a battleship like my Bismarck with torpedoes? My Bismarck has no Anti-Submarine weapons after all...
  17. My PT Boat. My first military creation, also the smallest, but with over 600 parts. I used NAS, BDA, and CAL for one version, but the main one is stock. Admiralty M Destroyer, WWI. My first fairly large, modded ship. A leftover from a time when I wanted to do a Battle of Jutland pack before realizing how ridiculous that would be. 804 parts, uses NAS, BD armory, WW2 Warships, tweakscale and kerbpaint. My first use of custom torpedo tubes on a vessel itself. Prinz Eugen Heavy Cruiser. The beginning of my current Battle Of The Denmark Strait project, and this ship was the single highest part count ship I ever built, at about 1150. You need BDArmory, CAL, Kerbpaint, NAS-Naval Artillery System, WW2Warships, And Tweakscale, which is the set I'm mainly using now. Bismarck Battleship Probably the replica whose ship it replicates is most famous. 900 Parts, and also my newest using the same mods as the Prinz Eugen, a continuation of the Battle Of The Denmark Strait project. On to HMS Hood.
  18. My next warship project! So excited! The mighty Das UberBoot! Equipped with 4 500/5 MM guns, and 3 AA 120/3 MM Guns! Very effective!
  19. Oh my. Don't worry, it fell another 23 parts! TO 643, which is... A reduced part count ship. EDIT My next project is the mighty Das UberBoot! (April Fools!)
  20. I managed to get my Bismarck down to 666 parts! Edit: Oh my, what has April Fools done with me? Fixed.
  21. @KuzzterSo for the newest episode, i've tried to cut down on the dialogue length, but at the same time I may have made it too long. I fear that the whole portal thing might be too weird or confusing for readers. Lastly, I wonder if there's something fundamental that's missing from the story that plenty of great stories have, and having it would help my story along.
  22. Sorry for the consistent delays. The newest series will have longer episodes at the cost of a low frequency. That set aside, here's an exciting third episode of The Asteroid Sentinels Series 7! *Page two isn't really necessary for the plot, it's a bonus page. Also, the portals talked about in the last page are to some extent real!
  23. I see no one has mentioned you yet... I remember those times. Suprised no no one has mentioned Swdennis yet. Amazing replicas of notably Star Wars, but there are plenty of more fun thing he makes. Also: Anyone seen Kurtjmac? He hasn't played KSP in quite a while, but the series really shows the gameplay in its raw form.
  24. It took me a while, but the Ctrl-K window brought up the assets and I could just load them up into my save. I think the runway I used was titled "huge runway" in the assets. I'm working on the episode pages now.
