  1. This is the Seventh Episode of The Asteroid Sentinels. I did make a mistake last episode saying it was episode five, I will note. So without further ado, let's get started!Oh my, what has happens now? If you have any feedback about these episodes, let me know! The title refers to a quote from a certain Doctor Who episode, can anyone name it?
  2. I was trying to get Kerbpaint to work in KSP 1.1.3 on Mac, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. Some parts for example the some Mk2 spaceplane parts and many 1.25M parts are black, and while the interface shows up for them, but no change. For unblackened parts, the interface won't show up at all. I'm assuming it's because i'm running OSX. So are there any ideas on how it might be fixed/if caused by running Mac fixes are coming.
  3. With The Asteroid Sentinels the first parts I generally only really used tool and visual mods, but I've ended up adding more mods as I went along, weather it be for making my "sets" and spacecraft look nicer. I've used Kerbinside at times as well. Outside of the game I also alter things quite a bit outside the game too. For example Jeb near the asteroid or almost all of the "room" scenes ("War Room" style set, Morts office, RDF vault, etc.) are shot at the Runway and many on a different save. Vessel mover I once used for a rocket launch scene, for example. Hyper edit was used a lot, but this was more the fact that I didn't have the craft in space already (and assembly/launch of these would take long times, and for places that are unlikely to be used for more than a few episodes, I ended up with lots of hyper edit. Also, I'd like some feedback on my newest episode of The Asteroid Sentinels, and if it might be telling more than showing. I also wonder how relatable my characters are.
  4. After my long busy vacation (In which I wrote up this episode) in which I never really got felt like/got around to playing KSP, I've gotten Series 7 Episode 6 out! While school starts in a not so distant week, I hope to get another episode out after this too! So I present Episode 6. So that concludes this episode. If you have any helpful tips to improve writing/what you thought about this episode, please tell me. (Things might include how engaging the conversations were, or if how relatable the characters seem or don't, etc).
  5. Back from the trip really jet lagged, but don't worry, I plan to start my KSP again. I've gotten a episode of TAS written up and I've got a plan for the execution of the Battle of The Denmark Strait. Not much "done" in the game, but plenty in planning,..

  6. Currently I'm on vacation and will be for a couple weeks, and while I have the tools to work in KSP and on graphic novels, I'm probably pretty busy for a while.

      Have a nice one!

  7. Yep, it took battleship parts and welding to make it work. But unfortunately because of the lag in 1.0.5 it ended up a bit simple. Of course, I didn't really have experience building Killer asteroids, so the flat bits kind of ruined the naturally-ness of it all.
  8. @KuzzterGoes to show I really haven't been to Pol! I knew they were big but not that big!
  9. Playing with high speed bombers with SVE. The bright flare is Kerbol.
  10. A bonus feature for today, the pictures used in today's episode, in full resolution! Don't worry, HAL just means Highly logicAL computer! Or is it really? Also:In very small font it says for Munry's Corporation Productivity/Snack Aid that there is a 100% increase in productivity, but unfortunately it also says the "1" in 100% doesn't count, so it's just 0%...
  11. You know you live in one messed-up universe when the one who believes in flying saucers is the one who gets things right... Interesting how both of us restarted out graphic novels on the same day!
  12. Unless I'm doing something wrong, the mod still doesn't work for Macs, or at least my MacBook Pro.
  13. I've posted my new episode of The Asteroid Sentinels, are there any suggestions that might help the story flow better? For example, I wonder if there is too much of telling, and not showing. I'm wondering if my characters seem... Believable. Also, is the story getting somewhat confusing? I also wondering about how my writing style might have changed, but that might take a couple episodes to analyze.
  14. Finally, the newest episode of The Asteroid Sentinels is out! Jeb is on his quest to intercept the asteroid, and Valentina has quite a talk with Bonnie Kerman... First time i've used texture replacer for the heads. Did the conversations flow? The thing I kind of fear is that there been a bit too much telling and not showing, but what do you think? Are there any inconsistencies in characters? Is all of this a bit confusing? And what about the formatting, considering I haven't done the sort of thing in months. What did you think of the little drawings done for the episode?
  15. Here's a sneak peak of what the asteroid looks like.... I've finished scenes for Jeb's adventures, now for filming whats going back on Pioneer station...
  16. As it happens, the main reason I initially started this series was to explore the mod. So in the end, do you think I should use 1.0.5 or 1.1?
  17. I haven't seen any that make bigger ones, but I believe there are ones that help make asteroids spawn in many more places. (If I recall correctly, it has OPM support.)
  18. Actually, I made it with giant parts from WW2Warships and Welding. So I made it weigh 44 Million tons. Sadly the stock ones don't get that big.
  19. Maybe, but there is quite a difference in scale, since mine is a ~300 meters or so. But I might consider the magic boulders.
  20. Apologies if this may count as a necro post, but now that I've started making the next episode of this series, i've realized a problem, which is that In 1.1, Kerbpaint does not work. While I knew this, it means that the color of the mega asteroid is basically bleached, and a white ball floating around is not as visually interesting as the intended colors. Thus I stand at a crossroads: Keep using 1.0.5 for now, deal with the issues of it, and hope kerbapaint updates sometime, or use 1.1, but unfortunately face the problems of no Kerbpaint. (However, only crafts used in future episodes and the asteroid will be affected.) In other news, I've download texture replacer head packs so I can make my kerbals easier to identify and such, I've finished the dialogue, and I've made any drawings that will be used in the next installment.
  21. How should I get back to writing The Asteroid Sentinels, considering how long i've been out from writing, as I was working on other projects and again ended up neglecting my story again...
  22. Progress report for Prince Of Wales, with the announcement that, I am essentially done with the ship. I've managed to get it to be stable for 6 or so minutes on some trails, and I think the reason for the variations was because lists in the warship before launching were eventually amplified as time passed on, resulting in lists that I really have no control over, except getting the ship in the water very quickly. Unfortunately vessel mover doesn't really allow for really fine tuned shifts, so the variation quickly causes lists. Now I need to test the turning. After that, i'm putting the Denmark Strait project sort of on hold till Kerbpaint is fixed, and WW2 Warships gets compatible with Realships.
