  1. Considering their aren't any secondary guns of its caliber in NAS, a suggestion would be to create the 10.5 CM FlaK SK C/38, the German dual barrel secondary.
  2. Prinz Eugen Heavy Cruiser work continues, with the upper bridge finished, now I'm on the highest floor for the tower, then I need to work on the rigging and attaching the secondary armament of the Prinz Eugen, and paint it up. Yes, the ship has now reached quadruple digit numbers...
  3. I'm pretty sure KSP isn't running out of memory, and none of the files seems to have zero KB, and after screwing around resetting the setting.cfg and taking mods in and out, it worked for an older backup of the craft... Kinda. When I edited it, it crashed again (though at 2.84 GB and not 3GB like it usually does), then that file met the same fate as the earlier one... It's at 940 parts now, that might have something to do with it. I know of similar cases on the forums, but on different OSs.
  4. I was working on the Prinz Eugen on Friday, and I finished the back half, but now it appears its gotten corrupted, with it having "no dimensions". Older backup versions of the ship aren't appearing in the SPH selection of ships, which concerns me, even though I have them in the SPH folder.
  5. At least none of those things blew up when the kerbals were inside. Hopefully the events of this episode will not effect any other universes. Of course, the next thing is to learn what happens when the gravioli generator is left in for 10 seconds!
  6. I've generally reduced the amount of images on each page for The Asteroid Sentinels, tried to cut the dialogue a bit to something fairly simple (though my newest one is does have quite a bit of dialogue). I've tried my best to keep the endings at cliffhanger-ish bits. I'd also like a bit of feedback on the characters in my story.
  7. Quickly hurling towards the end on Series 6, this episode focuses on the debate of where and how to abort the mission, so they can safely return in time for the launch. First however, an article by KuzzStu M. Kerman...The spaceplane does indeed have SSTO capability, but capacity for SSTO is fairly limited, requiring refueling to go past LKO.
  8. I finished the bridge as well the bottom part of the tower above it, and i'm almost done with the things in the back. Next is to finish the back and the tower, then I need to build the mast and add some secondary guns, and fill in some holes... I'll admit, with this kind of part count, if I ever recreate the Battle Of The Denmark Strait, I WILL have to weld a bunch of parts, or will end up with thousands of parts...
  9. Space Pirates? Now that is an interesting character to hire! The signal from Jool can't be good...
  10. Progress on my Prinz Eugen replica has moved a fair bit, with the first floor of the superstructure's deck finished up, and most of the 2nd floor is done, and once that is done I will build the tower, as well as the masts and such, I figure i'll end up with an 850-900 part vessel. I certainly would love to add more detail, but that would totally murder my computer.
  11. I'll keep note of that, it looks great so far! It sure does, it cost me about 250 parts. Thanks!
  12. Yeah, while fixing the deck can't be too hard, the hull is really complex, especially on these big ships. I'll probably try and clean the seams a bit, but I doubt they can be totally cleaned up.
  13. Not so yay for the KSC. Kerbals can be rather violent when there lives get shaken up.
  14. Here we are with the tenth episode of Series 6! The first page kinda goes over what has already been covered as well as the 2nd one, they are more or less a "recap" for the general public. ... That was a massive firework.
  15. The deck and first floor of my Prinz Eugen Heavy Cruiser replica are finished! My next job is to build the next few floors. The ship is now at 492 parts, which makes my question if even KSP 1.1 will be able to handle Bismarck and Prinz Eugen, since I only expect the part count to increase massively from now on too!
  16. The Prinz Eugen hull has now been complete, and the whole ship currently floats well and reaches speeds that are about the same as the actual thing. My next thing is to build is the deck (it's still a place holder now), and the first floor.
  17. I certainly made it, and while I'm not sure the kerbals will go out like Kerbasaurs (it isn't 10Km in size for Ex.) but there will definitely be much Murder, Terror, And Death!
  18. Finally, the asteroid has been made, and now I can release the ninth episode in Series 6 of The Asteroid Sentinels!DUN DUN DUN!!!!! Great things will happen soon, but they don't seem to be all that good for the Kerbals...
  19. I had been building other ships, but I finished the "reduced parts" version of the Admiralty M Destroyer, with less wonky guns, working guns representing the pom-poms, FLIR targeting balls, and cut down the total part count to 512. I had to replace the torpedo tubes with NAS ones. DOWNLOAD
  20. Working on a Admiralty M Destroyer Reduced parts replica, which had been delayed by my Asteroid building, but I have reduced parts down to 512 Parts, and made a less clunky deck guns, the Pom Poms have been replaced with some "real" guns, and I removed the torpedo tubes and replaced them with NAS ones. The album is a collection of speed readings, damage tests (it seems that you can't really sink it, but its easy to knock out the guns, essentially incapacitating the whole thing. Speed seems to be unchanged.
  21. Apologies for not posting episodes recently, but i've been testing out some asteroids for future use on this comic, and soon I will be able to release the next episode on The Asteroid Sentinels.
  22. Success! 4 B83's and 1 Castle Bravo from North Kerbin Dynamics have successfully destroyed asteroids, though I had to change the .CFG file a lot. I will test a couple more times before implementing it into a certain graphic novel... The first test is at 200 meters per second impact, massive damage, many remaining bits were thrown all over the place. The 2nd one is a high speed (1KM/S~) test, at the end it lagged out, but all but the center shell survived, and it is a rather small asteroid that wouldn't cause much harm to Kerbin.
