Here's my latest creation. I think it's pretty cool. Maybe not an airliner, but it is designed to transport passengers. Click HERE for more info and more pics.

I guess so, the person doing it next week will decide. I don't think showcases are looked at, but don't quote me on that. It's not really a "ask to be in" such as a newspaper. But more of a part of a newspaper, written by one person. Hope this helps! YargJay9991

[STOCK] Bombardier LearJet 45 Replica
YargJay9991 replied to YargJay9991's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Thanks again guys! Pity I had to do SCF actually. I think this would have made it! Still, there's always next week! Happy Flying YargJay9991 -
Suggestion: Stock/mod subforums
YargJay9991 replied to Doodle's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
It's a good idea, but the Spacecraft Exchange will become, very quickly, a big mess. That's what already happened to the SCE after the forum migration when the Rocket Builders went away. It will eventually change for the better though. There are actually a lot of stock craft out there, they just need to bring back the [Stock] and [Modded] tags at the start of the thread name. That would make things easier. Happy Flying YargJay9991 -
Thanks everyone! I was up late(ish) last night doing it, so I hope there aren't too many weird sentences! pTrevTrevs: It was actually Saturday night here when I finished it. Happy Flying YargJay9991

OK! It's time for another edition of Space Craft Friday! I decided to skip the standard disclaimer as I think everyone knows what it says. This week was tricky, a lot of showcase threads were added to the SCE due to the Rocket Builders going away, so finding individual craft was a bit of a challenge! Never the less, I pushed on and found a few little goodies hidden around the SCE. Please enjoy! Let's get started! |Mini VTOL - Minute| By castille7 This little VTOL is probably the cutest thing I've seen! The wing design is quite unique and everything else on the plane looks very nice. It kind of looks like a butterfly! LINK TO FORUM THREAD _________________________________________________ |Buran 11F35 Kerbal I| By Speeding Mullet Now, I know there are quite a few NASA Space Shuttle replicas on the forums, but not a lot of replicas of the Buran Shuttle (AFAIK;)). This shuttle is quite beautiful for it's low(ish) part count and it even comes with an Energia launcher! Check out the forum page for more pics and info. Speeding Mullet really went into detail! _________________________________________________ |T-10 Jet Strike Fighter| By ghostbuzzer7 If you're into stock KSP warfare, then this jet's for you. The T-10 is a very nice aircraft both aesthetically and... uh well... (I didn't actually test this)... Anyway! I chose this plane for the SCF because of it's simplicity. We don't see enough simple things on the forums these days, it's all about gears and bearings and really complicated things that I can only dream of building. So I decided to remind everyone of how beautiful simplicity can be. Well done ghostbuzzer7. LINK TO FORUM THREAD _________________________________________________ |Cypher - High Performance Dropship/Prospector| By Cupcake... I don't play with drop ships that much, but this one was just too pretty to ignore. As you may know, Cupcake is well known for his drop ships in KSP, but I didn't think any of his creations had been featured on SCF. This is a very clean and simple design, I just love that cockpit! LINK TO FORUM THREAD _________________________________________________ |WWII Avro Lancaster Replicas| By Columbia These two replicas of the famous WWII bombers are both very nice models. Just look at those wings! These beauties also pack a massive punch in the form of explosives with each plane carrying a massive load of bombs. Time to bust some dams! (I think it's the same plane...) LINK TO FORUM THREAD _________________________________________________ |WWI Medium Bomber| By Azimech To finish off this week's showcase, a remarkable aircraft based on bombers from WWI. Built by Azimech, this amazing aircraft is very well built and uses very clever techniques to produce the final product. If you like flying classic aircraft, then this one's for you! LINK TO FORUM THREAD _________________________________________________ So there we have it. Another excellent week in the Kerbal Spacecraft Exchange. Thankyou for taking the time to read this, and I hope you have enjoyed looking at all the amazing craft showcased here today. Please let me know what you think of this edition, and if there is anything that you think could be improved, please kindly let me know. Thanks to all of the builders who's craft made it here, and to those who may not have made it in. These choices were my personal opinion, and I don't mean to leave anyone out on purpose. Thanks again and HAPPY FLYING! YargJay9991

Wow... gotta love the new scatterer. I installed it yesterday and I really love it! Nice pics Azi Happy Flying YargJay9991 -
Hey Kasper!
I was just wondering what's happening here? It seems we have a forum, but theres nothing here. Are you guys still transfering data across?

Would You Save the Rocket Builders? RESULTS IN
YargJay9991 replied to YargJay9991's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Well the final results are in, just before the Forum Closes. Here are the results for both the SCE thread and the RB thread combined: 1. 34 (24.6%) 2. 54 (39.2%) 3. 22 (15.9%) 4. 13 (9.4%) 5. 15 (10.9%) Thankyou all for the 138 total votes on this thread. It appears the majority of everyone decided it was time for the rocket builders to go. I'm very glad I decided to find this out using a poll, and I found the results quite interesting, as I'm sure you will too. Good bye RB. RIP YargJay9991 -
Pre 1.0.5 HMS Hood! (Mini, of course)
YargJay9991 replied to Spacetraindriver's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Very cool, Although, I'd hardly call it a mini... (I haven't seen your other normal one, just saying;)) Happy Flying YargJay9991 -
Broken vertajet. Something strange is going on.
YargJay9991 replied to Jakalth's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
That is strange. And could be really useful as well. Have you seen this on other craft? What about different engine configurations? Try adjusting a few things but only one at a time, and see what happens. :) Here's my scientific look at it. Well, it's basic science anyway. Looking at your picture, I noticed the horizontal wings are angled such that the leading edge of each wing is tilting up wards. If you look at how control surfaces behave when pitched up for example (when elevators are at both the front and back), the rearward elevator's trailing edge points up (producing less lift) and the frontward elevator's trailing edge points down (producing more lift). The imbalance of lift causes the plane to pitch up. How does this help you? What I think, is that the horizontal control surfaces on your plane (the wings :P) are both trying to lift their end of the plane. The front is trying to pitch the plane up and the back one is trying to pitch the aircraft down. My theory is that the lift/speed ratio varies through different speeds and altitudes for each type of wing, where maybe at one speed the front wing is producing more lift than required to fly level than the back one is, causing the aircraft to pitch up. Then at a different speed the rear wing is producing more lift, which causes the aircraft to pitch down again. This pitching motion is dampened by the SAS which, at higher speeds, is able to utilize the elevators more effectively meaning it can hold the level altitude. I know this is a bit of a read, and I don't think I've ever written anything so scientific in my life! (I feel pretty cool now.) But this analysis is only based on my very basic knowledge of aerodynamics and my clever assumption skills, so someone correct me if I'm completely off track... I have an idea for a test, so I'll possibly get back to you soon.
Look at it from the angle of "what is changing". There is an F key that displays life vectors in realtime. Can't remember which one but I would start by watxhing them and seeing how much lift the fore and aft surfaces are generating, during the various regimes of liftoff. Oh SAS is on. You have some serious stabilizers on the aft section those are fighting all the time to keep it level if thats the attitude you engage SAS at, so anytime the vehicle pitches, aerodynamics are overcoming them. If you got rid of the wings or places them more equally, I bet there would be less pitching.
The F key your talking about is F12. And I assume you mean lift vectors as opposed to life vectors? :P I'm not sure he wants it to not pitch, I think he just wants to know what is happening so it could be used as an aerodynamic autopilot.
Whoa whoa whoa - why does Zokesia Skunkworks get special treatment?!? I personally think Para-Sci Applied Sciences Division is awesome and deserves to be saved even if everything else gets thrown out ;P But seriously. The fact that's in the poll makes me suspicious.
Read the OP. It says "Just to clarify guys, option three is not just for Zokesia Skunkworks, but more a general term for the bigger companies." Well, it now says that, it was on the RB thread for this but I meant to add it to this one :) Happy Flying YargJay9991 -

Please feel free to browse through my replicas and riplicas of real life aircraft. What is a riplica? Well, it's an aircraft that is based on a real life aircraft, but is not an absolute copy of it. Take the Kerbus K380 below as an example. This thread used to be a company called J-Space Ind, but due to the removal of the Rocket Builders thread, it has now turned into my personal showcase thread. Would You Save the Rocket Builders? RESULTS IN
Removed some posts. Please don't make the discussion personal, folks.
Cheers Vanamonde. That's exactly what I needed.:D -
Ok, I know there are a lot of threads discussing the removal of the Rocket Builder's Sub-Forum. But all of them are full of anger and hate. Guys, you have no idea how long the devs are spending on making our awesome game. Just chill. I have already posted a thread on the RB sub-forum, but I thought I would reach out to all of the other builders in the SCE for there thoughts. This thread is design as a more civilised (forgive my harshness) way of discussing the matter. Using good ol' democracy, let's solve this once and for all. Please, let's just vote on the matter, and if Squad decides to listens, then that's there own decision. Please feel free to state your point, but rude, harsh, nasty, mean and unrespectful posts will not be tolerated. Just to clarify guys, option three is not just for Zokesia Skunkworks, but more a general term for the bigger companies. Please keep the heated discussions elsewhere. YargJay9991
