Take-Two Kills "Essential" Grand Theft Auto V Mod
DestinyPlayer replied to Melfice's topic in The Lounge
I hope that at least we can all agree that, even if T2 had a legal and business reason to do this, it was still the most stand-up guy decision they could make out of all the other decisions. After all, Let's Plays are technically illegal. But we can still hate the companies that kill them. Legally allowed to do so, but still a stand-up guy thing to do. Probably a bad example, but I can't remember something else that's in the grey zone legality-wise. -
When was the first time you played KSP?
DestinyPlayer replied to How to: KSP's topic in KSP1 Discussion
It was a long time ago, probably before 2011. The first version that I remember playing is 0.10.3. I think that at that time, there was literally nothing to do but to get as far up as possible, I'm not sure if it was even possible to get into a stable orbit.- 28 replies

Hopefully you're going to get somewhat more feedback now that Kottabos had reviewed your mod. I'm highly intrigued, but sadly I can't check it myself right now.

What is your biggest science pet peeve in movies?
DestinyPlayer replied to todofwar's topic in Science & Spaceflight
I've always found the whole "space battles are like naval battles" thing annoying. Come on, Submarine movies ARE popular after all! Or at least were popular... Just make a submarine movie and move it to space. That would be much closer to reality. -
Make a wish... and have it horribly corrupted!
DestinyPlayer replied to vexx32's topic in Forum Games!
Granted. You get a letter with the exact description how to use them. Too bad it's in an alien language. I wish for relativity to no longer work. -

DestinyPlayer replied to vexx32's topic in Forum Games!
Granted. The gravity makes all space travel impossible. You're now stuck to flying planes on Kerbin. I wish to be able to govern the rules of wishing in this thread, to affect whether the corruption applies or not, and who gets affected. -
These weird panels are where I place my icons.

If I had a Time Machine I would sleep in it, and always pull an all-nighter. Also maybe learn of close-future stuff. Like "No more waiting for videos you know will come out exactly at that day, just watch them right away!". Basically mundane stuff, because there's a huge chance that far future would disappoint me. Also whenever there's a "What? I never said that!" or "You promised!" situation happening, I'd go into the past and record if it's true or not.

There was that one fan-comic where Batman injected kryptonite into his bones, and Superman threw him into the sun, thus somehow making it so that the sun radiates kryptonite radiation or something. Thus Superman melted. DRAW.

Well, that's the thing, I don't remember anything even after just waking up. Maybe it's because I tend to wake up for a relatively long time, but the whole time it's either nothing or my own imagination (as in, just thoughts), not a dream.
-
After reading all of that I'd gotten really interested in lucid dreaming, but... I'm not sure if I can even trigger them. I don't have any dreams, I just sorta turn off at some point and then turn back on. The only times I ever have dreams is when I fall asleep again after already waking up in the mornin, but that's a stupid idea because then I always sleep until way after midday.

So far it's Windows 7, but I'm thinking about switching to Ubuntu. I've already tried it on a VM and I liked it, but I'm still unsure whether to switch to it or not. Also I'm still afraid of going the double-boot way due to being afraid of losing all the data on my second hard drive.

10/10 Because even if that's actually no avatar, it still looks cool. -

8/10 Good pixel art, but some bits are slightly off. The corners are thinner than the middles, for example. And there are a few white pixels in the place where the line intersects the circle. Othe r than that, it's pretty good. -

5/10 Doesn't really look like cake, but there's not much you can do with that perspective. -

I got a pen/lighter (funny, because I don't smoke) that looks like a big-ass bullet. But that's only for Christmas, because where I live people don't really celebrate Christmas, we celebrate New Year, and so I still have a week of waiting in front of me.

Well, it's quite obvious that people are going to find much more mistakes in the work that strives to be realistic than in the one that doesn't care about the science of things. In the latter case, there's nothing to be mistaken about.

Not only chemistry, but also electronics. People managed to build programable computers in that thing. There's also an updated version for Android floating somewhere, not the one in the market.
