  1. Yes this is intended. Lua's surface contains a lot of dust which will make its atmosphere appear a lot more muddy. I've also adjusted the atmosphere slightly to take Fate's star colour into account more, which is why it's tinted slightly more orange
  2. Hey all! I'm improving a couple of bodies (sorry) because I don't feel like they match the style. Currently I've finished Armstrong. There have been tweaks to its terrain and colouring, but the surface features remain the same. I hope you all like the improvements:
  3. You should not be using bolderco. BH has its own cloud configs. You should still have EVE though. At 4k (RTX 2080S) I get 80% GPU usage on Rhode. This is normal, because Scatterer uses a lot of the GPU especially at 4K. EVE is CPU based, but if you were playing with BoulderCo alongside BH's configs you're creating twice the clouds and will be having a huge performance hit because BoulderCo is not very optimized.
  4. Ha! It might be a bit of trial and error I'm afraid! Go to BeyondHome/Configs/Rhode.cfg and scroll to the bottom. In the SpaceCenter node there should be a value called repositionRadialOffset, or something to do with offset. Try decreasing this a bit until it's back on the ground! I'll make a patch for rescaled versions soon
  5. Hello. I've seen your website where you redistribute mods and charge people money to download them. I am aware you are the owner of the website or distributor of the mods on there, and it has been brought to my attention by a fellow modmaker that you upload our hard work onto your website and force people in China to pay for them if they want to download them. I will be brutally honest: You will have no support from me. Having the audacity to even come here and ask me to provide you with the material so you can do this is ridiculous. If you upload Beyond Home onto your website, you are committing a crime. You would be violating my license (All Rights Reserved) and redistributing assets I have worked on for years. If you do this (and I have fully aware that you already do with quite a lot of mods), you are a disrespectful person. If that doesn't put you off, it gives modmakers such as myself the ability to take legal action against you. We do not profit from our work. You should not profit from our work either. I know that telling you this will not change what you are doing, but it might just make you think. You will receive no support from me.
  6. "New Text" is a Kopernicus bug. As long as the slider is all the way to the right, ignore it. You should be getting 60fps provided you're playing at 1080p. Can you send me your KSP.log?
  7. Just letting you all know - Beyond Home is back and working on CKAN now - there was an error in the Netkan that caused it to ignore the Scatterer configs, causing it to break, so if you're using CKAN Beyond Home please reinstall!
  8. Thank you, it means a lot. I'm so glad people took the update well, because I know a lot of planets were changed (hopefully for the better!) and it was nerve racking to see what people's reactions to those changes would be
  9. I've wanted to produce a mod that makes the environment feel really alive - I think it's starting to work really well with the planets now! Thank you
  10. More trees on the way. There will be four different trees that appear on Rhode! Did anyone say Kohm...? EDIT: Added a whole bunch of different trees to Rhode:
  11. I'm messing about with bioluminescent life. These trees will appear VERY rarely on Rhode, but I have kept one next to the runway. Let me know what you guys think! The pearls on Scindo already do this, but I haven't actually made a custom tree before.
  12. There's not a fix from my understanding. I'll look into it and see if I can support contracts
  13. Can you try replacing the textures with these? https://www.dropbox.com/s/ozrlv6sip1i2kfj/Terrain.zip?dl=0
  14. It could be the mismatched resolutions - What OS are you on?
  15. I loaded up the game with eight-res textures, and the terrain shader quality on lowest, and I wasn't having any problems on Armstrong or Lua
  16. I'll have a look when I get home and I'll let you know. I don't know any way of adding a fallback if the new shader is disabled, since I think that's what is going on here, @Galileo?
  17. The terraformers and mining bases don't show on the scanners, unfortunately I'm not able to integrate them with the scanners so it's a shot in the dark I'm afraid. They do exist, though, don't worry! If I find a way to get them to show on the scanners I'll let you know
  18. Mun and Minmus don't exist and have no counterparts. I'm not sure what that contract would do, but I have a feeling BH will need a contract configurator patch. I can look into it if you'd like
  19. Yeah, it's in the install instructions too. I'll add the check for that in the installation checker
  20. For anyone using ScienceAlert Realerted, there's a bug where it will not recognise the new experiments properly. This config fixes it - Drop it in the Beyond Home folder https://www.dropbox.com/s/c1qvy8gpsj0gdqn/BeyondHome_HideExperiments.cfg?dl=0
  21. ScienceAlert bug not recognising Kopernicus experiments, here's a fix for it. Drop it in the Beyond Home folder. https://www.dropbox.com/s/c1qvy8gpsj0gdqn/BeyondHome_HideExperiments.cfg?dl=0
  22. MANY thanks! I should have notified you sooner and sent you a test version for you to play around with at your leisure. Apologies for forgetting!
  23. Kopernicus adds the ability to create custom science experiments for terrain scatters on planet surfaces. These experiments are triggered when coming into a specific range of a terrain scatter. ScienceAlert is picking up the experiments and letting anyone perform them at any range: I was wondering if you are willing to support the additions in Kopernicus changes so that people are able to use ScienceAlert without being able to cheat! Thank you.
