  1. Yes. Sigma Replacements: Skybox is not on CKAN so you have to download that separately. Since ckan takes time to register any changes I make to the configs, it will probably take a day or two before changes that I publish will be released there. To download the latest version, it's best to use the GitHub download linked in the OP.
  2. Hey everyone! I made a plugin which will be included with the next release of BeyondHome that will assist with installing it. Now, this might not be of any use to you smart individuals but for those who have never installed the mod before it will point out any errors or warnings! If there are errors or warnings it will not halt the loading process, but it will display a message up to the main menu indicating that something is wrong: However, if everything is done correctly: Hopefully this helps!
  3. I don't use it but it should work fine. Nobody else has told me otherwise
  4. You must enable terrain scatters in the graphics settings on the main menu, then restart the game.
  5. You're using the wrong Modulemanager, you need 4.0.3, or the version that comes with 1.7.3 Kopernicus.
  6. The next career mode video is out for those who watch! In it you can see the new terrain textures, scatters on Ash, Lua's atmosphere, and the more detailed clouds. I hope you enjoy
  7. You don't have Scatterer installed. For after kerbin you must be using scatterer 0.0336
  8. I've just updated the forum OP, let me know if I missed anything out! Hopefully it looks a lot more cleaner and presentable now!
  9. I'm really happy with these screenshots. I've spent about a week sorting out terrain textures and trying different ones out. I'm extremely happy with these two!
  10. The Christmas Planet A planet for KSP during this festive time! As a present from myself to the community, I decided to create a Christmas themed planet. This planet, called "The Snowball" orbits Kerbol just beyond Jool. The planet has a radius of 500km with an atmosphere 50km high. It harbours an ocean, clouds, rings, and a multitude of aurorae. I have spent a long time developing the assets that are being used on this planet! Installation Download the mod - https://github.com/Gameslinx/Christmas-Planet/releases Requires Kopernicus - https://github.com/Kopernicus/Kopernicus/releases/ Recommends EVE - https://github.com/WazWaz/EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements/releases Recommends Scatterer - https://github.com/LGhassen/Scatterer/releases There is support for Christmas Dres, in which Dres will now orbit this planet - https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/190564-173-christmas-dres/ (There is currently a bug with the Christmas Dres mod that removes Dres' terrain. Use with caution. Do not come to me for support - I do not maintain Christmas Dres.) As Kopernicus has not been updated to 1.8 yet, you MUST use KSP 1.7.3. You MUST use the 1.7.3 versions of the mods above. Trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EY0EyGT-ndw License The license for this mod is All Rights Reserved.
  11. If you're using the most recent scatterer, downgrade by a version or two. So, you'll want scatterer 0.0540. (When I was on 1.7 I used 0.53 because it has less bugs) If that doesn't work you're on an old version of Beyond Home, and you'll want scatterer 0.0336b. Let me know
  12. More in 1.3! Changes to Rhode, especially its visuals:
  13. Some new cool things coming in 1.3 (for the others, scroll back up and go back some pages. There's a lot! - Snow - Much better clouds - New surface features Here are some pictures from the last week or so:
  14. Yes it is on Github. Scroll down to readme.md https://github.com/Gameslinx/BeyondHomePlanetMod
  15. There isn't really one. If it's anything, it'd be Hydrus. It does have a thick atmosphere but its gravity is fairly low.
  16. Let's not forget about the city coming to Verna in the next update!
  17. Lol! This update should be less CPU demanding. I'm not exactly sure what the usages are because I use a CPU that really shouldn't be used for KSP (9900k), and it sits at around 25% on one core through my testing. I might fire it up on my laptop (no pun intended) and get back to you on how it performs on a low-mid range system. In technical terms squad claims that ksp 1.8 utilises GPU instancing, which will take almost all of the draw calls from the CPU to the GPU for the terrain scatters. Basically, the CPU will direct one model and the GPU will paste it all over the terrain. That's how they do fancy grass in those AAA games without it being stuttery mess. Plus I've added some EVE configs for people who can't run scatterer and vice versa. Hopefully it runs well, and I'll let you know on the laptop situation.
  18. Thank you! Scatterer is not a requirement and neither is EVE. Sure, it'll subtract from the visual experience but the terrain features will still be there. It's completely up to you. EVE-glows are added in this update and they'll activate when scatterer is not installed, and they do a pretty convincing job of it
