  1. Yo! I've encountered some problems using this with my planet mod that impede the experience of the players who choose to use this option. First and foremost, selecting a launch site and backing out sends you to that launchsite in the "space centre" scene view. Only the runway and launch pad are selectable and they send you to the editor, not the proper menu. VAB / SPH buildings do not function at all. Tracking station buildings do not function either. Neither does an administration or astronaut complex. The only way to get around this is to enter the runway, select KSC and back out. Lots and lots of people using my planet mod do not know this, and report it as a bug on my thread. Hopefully these can be resolved! If you need config files / logs, please let me know. Thank you
  2. I just released an update to improve performance on the GPU by 50%. You can also turn down the BH terrain settings to reduce the scatter count. I hope this helps Edit: you MUST delete settings.cfg when updating this time. I need to update the readme

I can't get them to be scannable with the arms because Squad implemented them strangely (alienating them from regular scatters) and Thomas does not plan / did not plan on locking features behind the DLC Yes I don't like the DLC, but I would still support it if I could. Currently I cannot add the BG rocks to my planets because I don't know how, and because I add my own stuff. The downside of me adding my own stuff means I have to add my own implementation, done on Kopernicus' side, not mine. That's why you press a button whilst on EVA near the rock. Sorry, but there's literally nothing more I can do.

  6. This was the original plan, but kk launch pads are not working on that planet and I don't know why!
  7. You're looking for "Exception"s to do with Kopernicus. I don't help people suffering from problems unrelated to the thread topic, which is why I don't help people with monolithic installs. It's best to remove everything, try installing BH, and go from there.
  8. I'm not able to help when you have such a huge install. A planet mod should be the very first thing you install, because it requires the most components. It looks like you installed BH correctly (Except you still have BoulderCo in your folder, which you need to remove), and something with your other mods is causing the problem.
  9. Yes, Boulder Co will interfere with BH's visuals but it won't cause it to not load at all. Can you upload your KSP.log after launching the game and getting to where it hangs/crashes?
  10. Some of us are working on this already, not just me! (Custom terrain features already exist in planet mods, I just demonstrate this with a tree)

  12. There already are surface features. No crystals yet, but a lot more surface features are coming in the next update.
  13. Without the DLC you only need to be next to the rock to get science from it. With the DLC you'll only be able to do this with the experiments provided by the DLC. Both will be balanced and neither will be more effective than the other, it's just a case of not having to buy the DLC to get the extra science.
  14. If you mean the DLC experiments, you will be able to collect science from the rocks without the DLC but I aim to support it if Kopernicus updates to allow that functionality

  16. Click on the runway / launchpad, click the KK logo, switch your launch site back to KSC and leave the editor. Apparently you can tell the game not to switch scene in the kk settings Not had this happen before. Where were you stood?

  18. Hey all! I've been spending a few months on the planets in the mod I'm developing (Beyond Home), linked in my signature, and wanted to share a short cinematic with you. I really want to portray the desolate and destroyed feel of this planet through the use of objects scattered through the scene. And yes, you can land on those floating islands! I hope you enjoy.
  19. Apparently in the KK settings either in the main menu or ingame, you can make it go back to the proper KSC. Until then, i'd raise this issue on the Kerbal Konstructs forum page rather than here because I can't fix any problems with it
