  1. This satellite was over-engineered but the lifter stage exploded on launch. Luckily using vector engines, it was able to get to its target location of Gaia's inner ring system: Both probes have made it back to orbit of the great Gaia Its predecessor, Starcatcher, has made it to Gullis
  2. Yes, but it requires a lot of messing with the code. At this point, I'm completely dropping support for non-gaia users simply because of the sheer amount of errors that crop up. Sorry.
  3. Here's a ship I designed which will land on everything in the Gaia system: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9294dy8mqzmsqfo/Gaia System.craft?dl=0 I doubt you need it for the mission you're undertaking, but for anyone else wanting to have a set ship, there ya go
  4. What crashed into Gol? Could it be this? This asteroid is called 'Nightmare'.
  5. In that case, it's just the arch you see inside planets. If you get to Nievis, you can see this effect too. Outside its sphere of influence, you can see the Mun arch inside of it (I don't know why, but that's a thing). This is probably what happens here. It aint an easter egg because I didn't put that there All in all, it's harmless.
  6. It's hard to get a perspective on it. Does it disappear when you get closer? And does it move as if it was inside the planet rather than on the surface?
  7. He wants to work out how much DeltaV it will cost him to get to the planet, not how much he needs
  8. GPP replaces Kerbin with Gael using a config node known as 'cbNameLater = Gael' My planet pack does this as well, and does 'cbNameLater = Gaia' This is most likely the problem. There are more as well. First off, the game is trying to apply two home planets to one save, with two space centres. It gets confused and just stops. Both planet configs (Gael and Gaia) use Name = Kerbin as well. So the game tries to add two planets of the same name before they're renamed to Gael and Gaia. Secondly, as far as I'm aware, planets like Eve do not exist in GPP as they're removed when the game starts. In this case, Dusk won't be able to load as eve doesn't exist anymore. The same goes for Dread, Dusk, and all other moons that orbit a stock planet. We can't make our packs compatible easily unfortunately. Sorry
  9. Unfortunately no. As the modder, I don't feel like I'm the one to do that at this stage in development (it requires a lot of maths as far as I know). I just make the planets! I'm thinking of lowering Niebos's atmosphere from 151,000 (ridiculously high) to 65000 (nearly Kerbin's) so that you can actually return from the planet. To do this I'll just shrink The White Guardian's atmosphere keys to fit within 60000.
  10. The update is not released. Every time I fix a bug, nothing will happen for you because the files are on my computer. On Sunday, I will release the new update (so yes, you will need to reinstalled but only after I say i've updated the mod, or nothing will happen). TL:DR, wait until sunday
  11. Here's Gaia's new look. Although similar from space, the pixellation and rounded mountains are a thing of the past. By rounded mountains, I meant how there's no real detail on them. Instead of using an 8k, or even 16k heightmap (which is excessive and hogs your RAM, I tweaked the PQS values to make higher regions more jagged. The bug has been fixed. But to copy the image and put it into KSP, take the URL (at the top of your browser, it will say http://imgur.com/[...] , just copy and paste that here)
  12. Ohhhh, I remember that - it's for the helmets and EVA suits isn't it! I'll get right onto that - it's an aesthetic feature but it takes me away from drawing pretty colours on colourmaps (looks at biome maps) EDIT: Fixed. Just needed to tag Gaia's name onto the end of the config. @KerbolExplorer
  13. I hope that's in a good way Trust me my planets were horrible at the start of my own mod (I'm looking at you, Niebos), I can't wait to see the new texture. Want me to do anything to help with compatability?
  14. There's one on Butai... Check it's large green mountain (it's quite a lot to search but it's obvious when you find it). No more hints from me, only which planets have them
  15. I'm not sure. It's probably less than ten, but there are quite a few
  16. Yes, but it's just using a different image site from imgur. Imgur is the easiest one to use. If you landed below 250m above Gol, you will begin to overheat.
  17. It overheated. Why can't you use imgur? That's one of the only easy ways to share images
  18. Press prnt-screen when looking at the Easter egg Then go to imgur.com and press Ctrl+v Then take the URL and paste it here.
