Is it possible in Kerbal Space Program to do an Aldrin Cycler Orbit, where the spacecraft cycles between the orbit of the Mun and Kerbin over and over again on its own? If so, that would be really cool and I\'d like to try that.

I bet if you wrote a well-thought out thesis on new and improved orbital rendezvous theories, you would make a lot of people really think highly of you. It\'d probably help for a future job with a space agency. Buzz Aldrin was a rendezvous genius that wrote thesis at MIT on it. Look where his career took him! (Ignore the spiraling depression and alcohol problems following Apollo 11).

OMG. That space station is awesome! Craft file and list of mods? -
A question about the Gimbal

I completely agree. I personally want a different color between the two also. -
A question about the Gimbal

I\'m not sure why everyone thinks the pro and retro indicators are green... They\'re clearly yellow. In addition, the orange parts of the navball is often mistaken for brown. -
OK. I will when I get back tonight.

Well, I\'ve been in a tutorial video mood lately and have a really good new screen recorder. Is there anything anyone wants to see done or needs help with? I\'ll use just stock parts for your convenience.

Space Shuttle Launch into Orbit (HD!)
VincentMcConnell replied to VincentMcConnell's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I had plenty to boost into any other orbit. Using the same amount of fuel, I swung the shuttle around the Mun and brought it back. Because I had to make this video without any HUD, I had MechJeb actually doing all the work into orbit. I just had to adjust camera angles and film, then add titles and edit. -
Planet Earth video from geostationary satelite.
VincentMcConnell replied to ot0_m0t0's topic in The Lounge
That looks like Kerbin Stationary Orbit, the thing is, in KSP, we have stars and nebulae that spin around in the background, giving the impression that we are moving. This video doesn\'t. By the way, why is the Earth so dark and rough looking? -
The only problem with traveling faster than light is that when you do, you will gain infinite mass. But that\'s only according to what we know now. I believe that the most practical way to do intergalactic travel will be wormholes, but I wish I could live 1,000 years just to see what they come up with.

Space Shuttle Launch into Orbit (HD!)

I know. It had to account for the External Tank\'s mass and I was surprised at how much those things had to gimbal. The exhaust practically looks like it\'s going sideways at some moments. -
Kerbal Space Program Tutorial - How to Get into Orbit (HD) This video will be showing you how to get into Orbit on Kerbal Space Program using stock parts only. It is a simple task that any 'Bottle Rocketeer' can eventually get the hang of. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, feel free to ask or express them below. I will do my best to help anyone with any problems they may have relating to this video or Kerbal Space Program. Kerbal Space Program can be downloaded at: http://www.kerbalspaceprogram.com/ Download link for the M-10 Orbiter CRAFT file: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/76061308/M-10%20Orbiter%20Tutorial%20Rocket.zip

That thing is way bigger than it needs to be. Getting to the moon is really easy, just utilize fuel lines. You should only need a few boosters for the job. I\'ve landed on the Mun with all stock parts, but have never been able to return upon getting there. I assume it\'ll be much easier when we are able to transfer fuel and resupply in-game. We could just land fuel tanks next to our lander and refuel to return that way.

T+ 4 days - why do I always explode?
VincentMcConnell replied to noneyabidnis's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Hm. This should not be happening. You also said that your Periapsis is dropping? That\'s not a problem that I\'ve ever encountered, even when orbiting for more than a few months (warp of course...) You may have a game problem. I would recommend redownloading, but see what everyone else says, first. -
Kerbal Space Program - Space Shuttle Launch (HD) A video from Kerbal Space Program of the Component Space Shuttle, originally by Rockets2Guns, launching into sunset and orbit. This video was made using MSI Afterburner\'s Screen Recorder, Kerbal Space Program (Version 14.4) and Sony Vegas Pro 11. It is important to note that much of this video has been clipped and edited, sped up and cut for viewing pleasure. The actual time to launch into a 100KM orbit without time-warps and video edits is roughly 13 minutes. This video has cut the time from Lift off to final MECO into only a few minutes. Kerbal Space Program can be downloaded at: http://www.kerbalspaceprogram.com/ Mods can be found on the forums, along with this Shuttle. The actual liftoff was done using MechJeb\'s Ascent Autopilot, so a HUGE special thanks to Universal Mechatronics for their MechJeb plug-in. Doing this without Mechjeb\'s AR202 would have been impossible. Orbital Characteristics: Apokee: 100,321 meters. Perikee: 100, 243 meters. Inclination: 0.1 degree Period ~ 32.7 minutes Semi Major Axis = 650km Major Axis = 12100

Can you spoiler all of these images and change their width to 600? I don\'t want to have to wait for all of them to load and have a thread this big. I\'m sure it\'ll bug other people too.
