  2. Really interesting, I was not expecting it to be a vent fin. Thank you so much for your help!
  3. I have a big love for (alas) one of the less reliable launchers ever: Zenit Particularly in her 3SL variant. She gave me dreams years ago. As a kid I tend to be crazy of Ariane 4, even more in her 44L configuration (it was my first rocket model ever). She still owns the second place in my heart, followed by Pegasus, Delta II, and Energia.
  4. Hey everyone, I have a question about Atlas V's 5.4 meters fairings but haven't found any answer to it. During the launch of GOES-S during last March it was possible to distinguish a "tube" on the fairing. Here are two pictures of the launch, with the perpendicular "tube" (at the right of the fairing): Would anyone know what it is (could it be a separation device)? Thanks
  5. @YNM You beat me well, I was about to post a picture of the 617 Squad during Chastise.

  8. Got the occasion to take some pictures too (a bit better than usual). Taken from Playalinda Beach, about 13 km/8 miles North-West from the SLC-40. From my photos I took of some Falcon 9 launches, these are the ones I like the most for now
