  1. http://space.skyrocket.de is also mentioning the presence of a third craft aboard, "MYCROFT" which is based on a ESPASat bus from Orbital ATK and which should be deployed from EAGLE. A pretty discrete payload, here are the specifications published by Orbital about the platform: Orbit: GEO Design Life: Three years, single string Dry Mass (no P/Ls): 70 kg Dimensions (no P/Ls): 22.3” x 22.3” x 27.4” (56.6 x 56.6 x 69.5 cm) Fuel Capacity: 22.7 kg, Hydrazine Payload Mass: 30 kg Total Power: 265 W Payload Power (OAP/Peak): 30/60 W Battery: 24 A hr Li Ion Downlink/Uplink Rate: 256 kbps/2 kbps via AFSCN + Type 1 encryption Data Storage: 12 GB Attitude Knowledge: < 70 µrad, 1σ Slew Rate: 1.5 deg/sec Position Control: 6 DoF Control using wheels and thrusters Position Knowledge: < 10 m Avionics: IAU, BRE440 Processor, Virtex 5 FPGA If anyone is interested, more info about the bus are available here: https://www.orbitalatk.com/space-systems/spacecraft-buses/docs/ESPASat_factsheet.pdf
  2. I envy you... really. I've restarted to study about six months ago, "half-time" only as I have to take care of my store too. I can't recount how many times peoples warned and told me "Are you sure to stop studying? To restart will be everything but easy." and every time I was smiling at them. Damn, how wrong I was... most of the kids around me are between 7 to 10 years younger, and I don't really understand why, but the contact is nearly impossible to establish definitely. I really have the (false?) impression to be surrounded by immature subjects, only worried about having a funny time on the place and the last sport results (without counting the last Kardashian's show)... Plus the fact that I always hated school too, mainly due to the obligation to follow the instructions and to obey Anyway, it's only the beginning a restart.
  3. Funny tip! I can't imagine the situation here if it has to be moderated daily.

  7. I tended to "travel" a lot in the past, at such a point than at 22 years old I discovered that I never stayed in the same domicile more than 6 months (averagely). At this time all my goods were holding in two luggage and a backpack. Now why travel in the quotation marks? Most of the time it only consisted in moves inside my birth country, so more inter-regional than international. Anyway for western Europe, I visited Belgium a single time (for stupid reasons I had to stop and turn around just before reaching Ostend, alas), Germany three times (Berlin, Dusseldorf, and Hamburg) for five to twelve days, and Italy's northern regions pretty often when I was in Nice. About Northern America, I stayed nearly a year in the Quebec province of Canada, passing some days in Ontario too (it made me discover the most welcoming and open-minded population ever, from my experience). At the same period I used to drive three times to New-York City and Newark, the perfect opportunity to discover the beautiful landscapes of the Northern States while driving on one of the Ike's Interstates, the best being that nearly nobody was driving here each time I used the road, really peaceful (some portions were even without any cellphone services). I also got the chance to stay two weeks in Newport, Rhodes Island, in 2007 and it was a pretty nice place. I will never forget this travel as it was in November 2007 and the Eagles have just released their latest album some days before. I ran everywhere across the town to find a store selling it I also keep some nice memories of the time I was flying in the Caribbeans, it gave me the luck to go to nearly all the island From Haiti at the North to Mustique at the South. Cuba doesn't really count as I only landed here for a transfer, many years ago, passing by Santiago de Cuba, then La Havana (obviously). Now I'm trying to explore and discover Florida as much as possible when I'm free, there is so many places to look at, and my poor computer is slowly dying under the amount of pictures I'm taking! Alas, I never went northern than Middleburg (West-South-West of Jacksonville), but I hope to have enough time soon to go northern and western, there is the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola (obviously), and also the battleship USS Alabama really close from the interstate border (can't wait to go there!)

  10. There is no way to complain about, per contra it is still nice to learn so thanks for the tip Also, with four years passed to study Latin literature, researching and composing text, a.k.a. "essays", I can be a real linguistic nutter with my first language... Typical Florida's highways traffic. I'm always trying to avoid the interstates and highways, as much as possible, but sometime it's mandatory for me to drive on them. Otherwise the extreme majority of the peoples are nice (or almost) on the smaller roads, still there is some nice exceptions: When there is only one lane to turn on the left, that you do not have the priority, and you do not want to wait: When the one in front of you is going at the same speed than the one on the right lane, and you have about 2-3' (less than a meter) of horizontal separation: Btw, the distance and the eye fish lens do not allow to really realize but the pick-up driver nearly lost control. Then, when an old timer in a Mazda 6 is not considering that traffic can be on his left: The worst being that I saw this man coming in and immediately imagined the possibility that he would force the passage, so I slowed down to 8-10 mph at the time I was crossing the parked cars. At least to drive here is giving some good reflexes
  11. I know I'm nothing else than a standard complaining person but after a five hours trip I just have enough. Now, with what happened this morning I don't know who I hate the most on the roads... the stupid SUV driver staying at less than 0.1 seconds from my rear bump while driving at 70 mph/112 kmh and who will crush me with her/his troop carrier in case of a collision? The stupid pickup driver who don't have to use her/his right hand to pass the speed and so is using it to text-and-drive? The stupid old-timer in Lincoln driving at 20 under the limitation and who is slaloming between the lanes? The stupid junior driver running at 20 over the limitation and who is flashing her/his front lights at me while I'm on the damned right lane to go faster while the others are free to go? The Prius driver slaloming just like if he/she was on a rally track? The Corolla and Camry drivers who kept their blue LED headlights high beam on while driving at night? The one in front who is totally unable to maintain a minimum correct speed (I mean, less than 10 mph of difference), and who could really turns on the speed keeper? The one who is accelerating at the time you are passing her/him? The one who... Also, I'm starting to hate myself for hating them.
  12. Also, Windows was originally the only OS to allow Farming Simulator. Everybody knows that when a farmer got free time, it's only to play on Farming Simulators.
