  1. With the power of the unlock... UNLOCK!
  2. Time for a tux on. Potential drum player (Yes, my set is bad) Infiltration attempt. Slightly annoyed. In self-custody for Pet Food Theft.
  3. Could not agree more! Can't wait for Atlas V 551 to end its 8 months long rest in two weeks.
  4. I stopped counting a long time ago... the dumbest always being supplanted by an even dumber. - Around 8 years old, I burned my face while making a stupid experiment with my kid's chemical kit. I was boiling some potassium with another add, until I got the smart idea to grab a little frog (many of them were living in the piping network) and to drop it in. At the time it touched the "mixture", the test tube literally exploded. - Still around the same time, I jumped from a 15 meters high cliff while holding trash bags in the hope of having succeeded in designing my first parachute. Somewhat, it worked a bit, but not enough to slow down the fall. Fortunately, the few neurons I had made me choose to jump from the coast, and therefore to fall into the sea rather than on land. - A couple of years later, my main interest in stupid was to put lizards and others "test subjects" in various rocket propelled cardboard craft ... All of them survived, but it was a pretty stupid idea. - When I was ten, I used a small portable fan as a High-G training simulator on "subjects". - Still as a kid, some friends and I used to light a fire... only to throw parts of asbestos in it. Sparkles, crackling sounds... and toxic fumes. - Also, not really an idea but a choice; about 5 years ago: taking the Aerospool WT9 from the aero club to go to Ushant (LFEC), and landing there with about 25 kt of crosswind... while the aircraft was certified for 15 kt max. I did another stupid choice with the same aircraft around the same time when I decided to depart with a mass of around 485 kg, while the MTOW was 472.50 kg. Not only dumb, but dangerous in both case.
  5. I don't know if anybody is interested, but here is the video I've taken of it. Thanks to the "wonderful" pier, I was not able to catch the SR118 splashdown
  6. Just a personal shot of Orion on the 46. About 8 km/5 mi away, so not really great
  7. Just imagine if the Esquadrilha da Fumaça was equipped with them I like the design touch, it looks like a modernized Kyushu J7W, with better placed cannons and a more-than-supercharged new engine, a bit like the models appearing in The Sky Crawlers (Sukai Kurora).
  8. The first game I ever played on the PS2 (even if I was, you know... 8 years younger than the official age-limit). The freedom of choice and movement was so incredible, so many possibilities while SM64 and LoZ OoC had already given us so much opportunity.
  9. Me as well, somewhat. Having always been a follower of New Wave and Neo-Prog, I do not really have a problem appreciating many kinds, from Romantic to Heavy Metal. Everything is fine until it is not rap, hip-hop, or modern electro.
  10. "If SpaceX' Raptors are so reliable... then why do they conduct static fires?" "Asparagus boosters configuration is just dumb." Seriously, isn't it the case (aesthetically speaking). Probably the only propulsion part I used only once.
  11. Many years ago, I used to... I used to listen at Owl City... Today, I am so ashamed of it that I never talk about it during meetings with others instrument players.
  12. Brigading is what is ruining the game for a while now. ----- 48 -
  13. The only memories I would keep of STP-2. (Even the light pole was against me that night) Some pictures of the SLS ML-1 at the 39B.

  15. Bad day(s). Yesterday, because of different appointments I drove from Melbourne to Sarasota, then to Naples before finally returning to Melbourne. Almost eleven hours of driving as a whole for only 870 km / 540 mi traveled, surrounded by less than 20 years old driving at 20 mph over the limit, and elderly drivers riding 400-500 hp luxury sedans and SUV but driving at 10 or 20 UNDER the limit. Anyway, the simple idea of being able to attend the STP-2 launch helped me stay awake. It was also an opportunity to test the Exploration Tower of Port Canaveral, which is the only place around here offering a view at height to private and non-professionals. I arrived six hours before the launch, and 35 dollars non-refundable later installed my camera on the tripod. The air was painfully wet, but I thought it was still worth it... until an official came to tell us "Sorry, but the tripods are forbidden here, but you can use monopods." Really?! Supposedly because we must leave room for everyone ?! In this case, also ban monopods because they take up space and clutter the view! It's just as deeply stupid as banning cameras in concerts for their so-called copyright, while they allow people to keep their smartphones with them. Jetty's Park, and the spot of the 401 being already crowded since several hours, I had no more options available. Above all, exhausted of having drove all along the day, I chose to leave. Shabby day.
  16. For the last two days there is a stupid kid listening to bad hip-hop and rap L-O-U-D right next to our block. Already that I curse those "musical" genres, the so-called "songs" he listens to are just yo-yo-yo lyrics and insults to anything (and I'm far from being a polite person in community). Anyway, I preferred to put my music loud enough to cover his filth while making sure not to annoy the neighbors either. Turning the page and being pretty tired, I went to sleep around 01:00 thinking, "Let's enjoy the night and rest well enough." Just to be woke up five hours later by a neighboring couple. They screamed for at least an hour right outside our door! WHY - WOULD - YOU - NEED - TO - GO - OUTSIDE - TO - YELL - AT - EACH - OTHERS?! Freaking self-centered world... I wish I could move to Eniwetok, Mururoa, Bikini, or even Fangataufa! I may stay alive less longer than here, but at least nobody is yelling in those places.
