Hi there, anyone has an idea why my class E asteroid has different textures? although the hightmap seems to "Swallow" my kerbal each time i am to near... it always disappears into the ground. Thanks

Is KSPRC and EVE the Only Graphical Overhauls Left?

additional it's needed to say that KSPRC and SVE and other overhauls use EVE (and others) and "just" configure the settings (...and add textures ). so its wrong to list KSPRC along with EVE in the title. basically EVE, Scatterer, TextureReplacer & Kopernicus are the base for most graphic enhancements. KSPRC and SVE are the most common overhauls that provide their own settings for those (or some of them) tools with the aim to create an even more realistic (or sur-realistic) experience... and not failing at all For KSPRC: its been stated several times, that Kopernicus uses most ressources of the whole package.So if u are locking for others (not all use kopernicus at all), then u should perhaps first try to exclude the kopernicus folder from your KSPRC install and try if u can life with whats left and if the performance is fione for you. -

what is "ModuleSolarTracking - should automatically make SSP right-click menus less confusing." which u r referncing to in the OP --- AFAIK the main bug is: dont rescale your root. beside of that? no bug that is not caused by using it wrong (resizing Docking ports or direct attached parts. so... i think u r putting way to much effort in avoiding Bugs that dont really occur -
why dont u just copy the RW-section of a HECS or else into your QBE config and adjust the values? If u dont know how to do, noone here could give u a config since copy & paste almost needs the same expertise as adjusting it yourself. doing it urself gives u the Option to adjust costs , weight and EC required as well

thats why i said "intelligent'ISH" - it was quite obvious why he had better fps with old versions cause of missing features; but he made a whol series out of his big findings for those with some spare time: to make it short: use old kopernicus

after my last trip to duna, i burned 600/800 of the 2.5m heatshield.... so, for starters it might be a good idea. I know that u dont need it with some experience and spare fuel

hasnt there been some super intelligent'ish' guy a few weeks back creating tons of Videos just to saay that an older kopernicus-version makes the game run mor "smoother"? guess this was because of some Features that were missing in this old Version - but essentially the same Observation as those today...

BUST: 1.1.X Crashes (Your Help Requested!)

just a hort one: in my newly career i had the sam experience: frequent crashes on lower VAB (didnt use SPH) Since i am in 3rd tier, they SEEM to happen less (not gone total) Nvidia 970; driver 365.xx; 5870x1080; dx9 win8.1; 32 GB ram; xeon e3-1245 -
delta-v for a mun-return is about 1000-1500m/s. depends on your position and skills ~800 for orbital-velocity + 200-300 for eject-trajectory to kerbin. take a heatshield with u, just in case u have to take a low periapsis to kill your speed cause u ran out of dV

sec, just came home. let me check it did u manage to drag the HUD to another position? Edit: hmm- seems i was wrong with thinking it was resizeable.. still trying nevermind, seems just to be dragable, but not resizeable. Did u try to reset the "Settings"-folder ? \GameData\KerbalEngineer\Settings seems there are most of the positional things listed -

right click on ur KER icon on the top-right bar and click EDIT on the sections that make your HUD. u should then be able to resize them. Same for the onscreen "mod-overlay" with the "flight engineer" Title. it seems as it needs just to be resized a bit -

As u can tell from the MM-Posting by @SQUAD they didnt put much effort in this posting. Listing all new generated threads within the last few days, picking one that sounds neat, checking what it does - finish. They didnt even put some time in questioning the "1.0.5" in the Thread-title, as it is quite new that MMs just refer to a specific version of a mod. So as it is 100% the original title of the Mod-thread, someone just copy-pasted to have the "ModdingMonday" done for this week. To be honest - this just seems to be another part where Squad is starting to lose the interest / time for... ---EDIT--- thought about "reporting" the following, but i think its better placed in the comment-section: - please take some more time checking out your mods u r posting. while this is a good mod, there is no hint that it is an old one that has developed quite well and used in different other mods. so instead of just linking some "new created thread", you should put some time in this postings, tell about that its compatible with 1.1.2 (ur 1.0.5. copy-paste of the mod-version is just confusing, not helping) and perhaps link some other threads that actually use kopernicus. THAT would be way more helpful and some kind of journalism.

funfact: he liked all the comments in the other blaming-thread... ...but didnt add some rep to the one actually helping him and solved his problem by showing up his fault - just magically disappeared since then.To sad ppl often jump to blame instead of wondering about their selfes -
