  1. only way i was able to reproduce it is by using KAS. just take 2 docking ports (from KIS, tested with seniors) and put them on 2 wall facing each other but still with a gap inbetween. if u havent fixed ur joints to much, u should see that they start attracting each other - but dont let them connect. detaching one of these ports now and attaching it somewhere else leaves at least one of them in the "state = docked (dockee)". Had to fix a station with four of them just yesterday after attaching/detaching them from walls a thousand(+1) times (with KAS). hth PS: sorry that i just can reproduce it with mods for now - but it should be "reliable" to test a fix. Sur one could argue that my example could also be fixed with kis/kas... For that reason i dont expect a fix for that by squad anyway. It just happened to me some times before without KAS so i knew how to fix it... Cant tell you for sure if it still happens in stock.
  2. even better vid by scott (just a bit older):
  3. hey @Martian Music, i understood u are running with just 4gb of ram? did u try using the 32bit version? might help since it shouldnt have such a big memory footprint. Do u use stock install?
  4. does this help/work with "non-docked" ports that became unresponsive (after beeing docked / beeing near other ports and trying to dock but not finishing)? (=> having "state = docked (dockee)" status in safe-file )
  5. @SaintStyle might want to check out memgraph for stutter-reducing.
  6. Hi, with the growing community and the upcoming console support, i wonder Squad still not cares about https for community "support". Im not paranoid or else, but i'D love to know, that at least my logins here are encoded and cant be grapped whenever im on public LAN / using not known access-points or else. What are your thoughts? I mean, at least its something that would add up for the reputation of the maintainer of a site / game... edit: just checked my other top 3 games and all of them are using https for their whole website.
  7. u might have more luck in the MJ thread, since this doesnt seem like a game glitch. MJ usually locks most manual controls when its in autopilot. Had similar issues some month back when using MJs autopilot always disabled my RCS ports for no reason -.- (and didnt switch them back on)
  8. i love "petitions to do sth", in which the majority signs "NOT TO DO it"
  9. Im not sure about combining it "officially". i like the fact that different ppl are developing different things and that u COULD combine it, if u want and know-how. I think this thread may be the "closest" to an official combination, since it is signed by @Nhawks17 But combining might bring less innovations / ideas / tryouts - VARIATIONS - since with different mods, they have the opportunity to go different ways and do "their own thing".
  10. then upgrading will most likely bring no benefit at all, since i doubt that stock will need more than a gtx750 gpu
  11. does it really crash or are u just clicking around and windows responds with "game does not respond" until it does a few seconds later (assuming u dont click on "close program")? Screenshot? log?
  12. only difference will be when u use scatterer & other visual enhancements in 4k. - given ur CPU can catch up
  13. on thing i experienced with the claw: i was NOT able to transfer LF/OX while clawed. Monoprop was fine. is that normal? As @AlamoVampire said: for a persistent station i'd suggest KIS & KAS as well, since u are able to add struts wit the docked ship... and it adds to the "lego-like-feeling"
  14. Im pretty sure this would fit into "add-on discussions".. or better get to read the "kopernicus How-To".
  15. guess its more the "ticks" of the engine than the frames u see that matter - guessing! a prove would be to adjust physical delta just when it happens and check if the problem is still there / happens as often as before > as claw pointed out months back: High delta means less fps, but more "ticks".. hope i didnt twist it
  16. somehow it feels wrong to "like" this post - anyhow - nice story and all the best to you!
  17. 2 min searching EDIT: someone moderated my answer from anothr thread into THIS one - not best way to handle a merge - i did NOT take two minutes to find and link a thread i am posting in Edit 2: and this is just the BEST ANSWER to the other thread, not actual THIS ONE.
  18. sir, u earned a modding monday! Hope its just in time... lets see.
