    @CommanderSpock The manned version of REX is in progress but there is not only a bigger REX. The manned version will be ready in two or three weeks. First step is now to bring the main-parts of Contares to 1.1.

    @RabbitOfDogs For the thousandth time. The helmet of a Kerbals has exactly 0.625m wide. If a Kerbal take of the helmet the head is still the widest, namely ~0.35m. In order to fit into a 1.25m Pod easily 2 Kerbals without a helmet and in a capsule with 1.875m 3 on a plane with a helmet.

    A few sheet bumps or rivet heads would enhance the back. Less self-promotion, so abandon the logo would also be appropriate, otherwise the impression you had created inferiority complex

    Hey, nice new parts. Only the goldfoil look's now uglyer ever. The new small antenna-parts and the backside of the solar-panels needs more detailed texture.

    One will get the Contares "D40r radial Parachute" as main-chute. The other will get a new drag-chute.

    Who really has a clue uses just the best from uncounted mods (> 80) and gets no strange behavior of KSP (32bit). In future Contares is divided into different areas and will be continuously improved. Tantares is also not fallen from the sky perfectly.

    Basic model of an RD-0162. 1.775m long, 1.25m diameter, ISP 321 (TWR) 356 (VAC), ~500 kN Thrust with LOX/LNG. All datas for stock KSP.

    The retrorockets are integrated on the underbody of the capsule. These are only exposed after the heatshield were blasted. The capsule becomes a sparate heatshield, not shown in the pictures.

    Texturing in progress: 3 Kerbal Soyuz style capsule with 0.9375m upper docking node and hatch. On the side there are nodes for two radial parachutes.

    @davidy12: The HGR mod and the IVA's was not public domain and do not like me. If I'm considering IVA's even create, then with the alleged new tools which are to appear with KSP 1.1. @MrMeeb: With the next patch comes, in all Contares capsules, only no IVA's but portraits in the correct view will be shown. The IVA of most capsules derived from Beales old Tucana Pod.

    Take Contares Mod and you become the radial decoupler, the Tucana Pod and many more usefull parts.

    Kerbal style version of Canadian Arrow is now ready for takeoff: The suborbital tourist rocket launch 3 kerbals in a suborbital 25 min. ride over kerbin. Deployable gridfins slow down the capsule on reentry.

    On close photos you see the fins adapter on the boosters. I'm not sure but i think the fins was stearable. The fast build model looks closer to the soyuz else your flat half toast

    The fin lacks profile and finer edges. A sweep with fewer or more than 45 ° would also be a visual improvement.

    Well, i used 502 Polygons and the part is fictional. Only the colorscheme is typical for spiral dipol antennas.
