[1.12.x] ResearchBodies V1.13.0 (15th May 2022)
Brigadier replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Just curious, does it need one? I'm using RB and SCANSat in a career save and not encountering this problem. -
Correct, at least according to CKAN. FYI, I have the same 3 mods but don't see this warning in either player.log or KSP.log.
-
@DeadJohnFYI, I'm in stock system so I don't believe it's a planet pack problem. During his last stream, LGG mentioned that DMagic parts and/or ScanSat itself had been giving him problems during the initial coding. I'm sure he's on it.

To follow up on tonight's stream, I have the following suggestions/observations: The Contract Selection window displays the contract titles centre-justified. This is inconvenient since that particular window currently cannot be resized and if you have contracts with long names, the ones with short names can be hidden unnecessarily. See screenshot below in 2. There seems to be vertical misalignment in Contract Selection window between the selection button and the contract title. This results in guess work when selecting a contract, especially in the middle of a long list. Edit: The workaround, as pointed out by LGG, is the titles themselves can be clicked instead of the button. I have a magnetic survey contract that requires Magnetometer Boom and RPWS Antenna on the craft. They don't show up in the mod for some reason. Another contract in which there are no experiment parts listed, just the required outcome. Shouldn't there be parts listed in the Active Contracts window?

[1.12.x] Parallax - PBR Terrain and Surface Objects [2.0.8]
Brigadier replied to Gameslinx's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
What do you see on the Versions tab when you select Parallax? A possible solution is to completely remove Parallax and associated mods, such as Parallax - Stock xxx stuff, in CKAN. Then go into GameData and manually delete the Parallax and Parallax_Stock Textures folders. Restart CKAN and reinstall the latest versions.- 3,158 replies

Thanks @linuxgurugamer. Using this will be added to my pre-launch checklist to confirm I don't leave a part behind.

[1.12.x] Parallax - PBR Terrain and Surface Objects [2.0.8]
Brigadier replied to Gameslinx's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Have you checked that you don't have another mod that's incompatible with Parallax? Check the Relationships (Relacionamento) tab. I'm pretty sure that you need to update Parallax - Stock Planet Textures to v2.0.8.- 3,158 replies

totm sep 2021 [1.12] Stockalike Station Parts Redux (August 14, 2024)
Brigadier replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I thought TAC and USI were mutually exclusive. Could be mistaken though. -
[1.12.5] Restock - Revamping KSP's art (August 28)
Brigadier replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
That's precisely why I would encourage you to reconsider and post your log. The diagnosis of its contents may reveal the cause of the problems you're having. It's more information for those capable of figuring out what's going wrong. Without the log, many hands are tied and people will offer guesses without any data to back them up. -
[1.12.5] Restock - Revamping KSP's art (August 28)
Brigadier replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
On Windows, the log is stored at %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Squad\Kerbal Space Program\Player.log. KSP always produces a log file unless there's some catastrophic failure on start. -
[1.12.x] Kopernicus Stable branch (Last Updated December 21st, 2024)
Brigadier replied to R-T-B's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Booster Guidance is giving you problems, though I don't think it's sufficient on its own to cause your Kopernicus issue. You may want to raise it independently with the mod maintainer at I can't help more than that, I'm afraid. Wiser heads will prevail. -

See the post just above yours. -
Welcome to the forums. Have you installed all of the dependencies, other than Module Manager (which you seem to have): Recovery Controller, Toolbar Controller and Click Through Blocker? If you're not comfortable installing mods with complex or numerous dependencies, I would suggest you use CKAN to handle mod installation and maintenance.

Not a problem. If you're not an aviation enthusiast it can be confusing. For a general description, search in your favorite search engine for "Horizontal Situation Indicator" or "HSI". Briefly, your craft is represented by the little stick airplane at the centre of the dial. The yellow line is the localizer (the horizontal component of ILS). The displacement of the line from the craft represents the distance from and angle to the localizer from your current craft position on the approach. The line and 'o's along the left and right hand sides represent your position relative to the vertical component of the ILS, or glide slope. Fly to the lines to adjust your approach so that you put the airplane on the localizer and glide slope. Realize that the closer you get to the runway threshold, the more sensitive the changes to your descent path will be. It's easy to overshoot.

totm sep 2021 [1.12] Stockalike Station Parts Redux (August 14, 2024)
Brigadier replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
First, welcome to the forums. Read this thread on how to report problems with modded installs, then post a link to your log file (as described in the thread). It might help those who can diagnose the problem you're having. -
[1.12.x] Near Future Technologies (September 6)
Brigadier replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
As for confirming if it's coming from the computer, turn the sound off in Windows. Then turn it back on and mute KSP from its options menu. I doubt, however, that these are your real first diagnostic steps and you've already determined the source. I don't intend on being sarcastic or condescending, but it seems from your text that you might not be entirely sure of the sound's origin. Forgive me if this seems trivial. -
[WIP] Nert's Dev Thread - Current: various updates
Brigadier replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
What exactly are you looking for? It was last updated in August so perhaps you should read the last page of this topic. -
[1.12.5] Restock - Revamping KSP's art (August 28)
Brigadier replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I don't have TUFX installed and this is happening to me, as well. I haven't investigated because I'm really not annoyed by it and functionality remains, but the behaviour was unexpected. Maybe related, my fairings don't expand even with the PAW option set to do so. Instead, they dissolve and, again, functionality isn't compromised. ATM, I don't know from where my fairings come, but I believe they're stock. Crucially, however, these started happening to me immediately after installing Deferred. Do you have Deferred installed? -
[1.12.x] Parallax - PBR Terrain and Surface Objects [2.0.8]
Brigadier replied to Gameslinx's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
He's working on guidelines at my request already. I'm sure when he's ready, he'll publish something. It will involve downloading/using a compiler, the mod's source code from GitHub, and a specific Unity version.- 3,158 replies
