  1. Doesn't affect my travel plans, I was holding out for Baz Luhrmann's Mars colony anyways.
  2. The Electron launch pad is so tiny I had to fake it in with a little square utility building , a Universal Launch Point and a launch clamp. If anyone knows of a better model for this pad let me know. I've got some more pics and a download link over here:
  3. I finally got around to releasing the Mahia Launch Complex using real terrain height maps of the Mahia Peninsula in New Zealand and statics from OSS:NTR. Pics over here:
  4. I finally have something to release, an actual sized Mahia Launch Complex 1, (and the whole Mahia Peninsula to boot) home of RocketLab's Electron Rocket. Please check the OP for details on dependencies. You should definitely try, thanks to @Ger_space's efforts, Kerbal Konstructs works great these days (especially if you are not also running Kopernicus). @Omega482's statics are relatively lightweight as well since they recycle stock textures (although they manage to look much better than on the stock buildings somehow). These look great - I will put Tanegashima and the Pacific Spaceport high on my list because to of the surrounding hills and mountains. In the mean time, check out Tanegashima on Google Earth, it actually has some pretty neat 3D models of the space center.
  5. I will post some better pics later- I failed to save the screenshots I took. the curved area is the grass on the sides of the curved road- color matched to the ksc dirt runway (sorta).
  6. Presenting the Mahia Launch Complex in New Zealand. I think all the statics are OSS, the geography is developed from real elevation data, and the latitude on Kerbin . I'll share a download soon. Thanks @Omega482 and @Ger_space for these toys! Based on this. In game.
  7. MAHIA LC-1 - Download coming soon... (Note: 1 of these 3 pics is not from KSP)
  8. I discovered that! Well hopefully the pipes will be sufficiently buried. It just occurred to me that I might be able to use Sarbian's DebugStuff to view the names of the transforms myself so I don't have to bug you!
  9. @Omega482, thanks for the tip on adding Variants to your statics. With a couple of MM patches I've got the right stuff to almost finish my take on the Mahia Launch Complex. It works greats for all the buildings I've tried so far, but with the straight road sections it doesn't work, because the gutters and pipes remain. Do you recall what the transform name is for those? Actually it would be cool to have just the pipes alone as well.
  10. It works for me in 1.6.1, and did in 1.5 as well. There is a bad download on Spacedock, download this version: https://github.com/PapaJoesSoup/VesselMover/releases/tag/1.7.3
  11. Robots don’t have genders, even if they are made to look masculine or feminine.
  12. I think I see a Barometer and a Gravioli Detector on there too!
  13. I usually use Vessel Mover to locate and work on statics.
  14. Hopefully Ariane 6 will feature some better cameras.
  15. Wow that is really cool, your stuff looks great! It might be nice to have variants without the hex-bases for tight layouts.
  16. Yeah that’s the one. Hard to say how close the guy is to the Raptor, he is probably not right underneath it.
  17. The picture claims he is 6’ but you can see he is standing on his tip toes. edit: you probably meant that photo from earlier.
  18. Yes! For some buildings. Yes, I think there is a camara angle setting, though I haven’t used it. As for the issue of completely replacing the KSC, I am not sure but I would love to do that in my game.
  19. Awesome! I can’t wait to try it! Will it use Textures Unlimited for maximum shininess?
  20. SSTU has really good iss modules too and is good for keeping part count low.
  21. Real Solar System works fine in 1.4 and on. However it does not use Sigma Dimensions because it is already real size
  22. You may want to ask in the RealPlume thread- I think the configs come from there. Also remember they are supposed to look like hydrolox rocket exhaust like the Delta 4/ RS-68
  23. Make your own flat spot with a mapDecal. that said, there are many real world runways built on fill by the water so it’s not a bad idea...
