  1. Nope, I'm playing stock right now. @Moose
  2. Flatland: The universe is 2 dimensional. Your rockets, however, are not, and you have to balance them on the edge of the world lest they fall through.
  3. We have...nine in the house. Two of them are mine.
  4. Birds are what dinosaurs look like today. But the real problem is that if the dinosaurs had not gone extinct, the little mammals wouldn't have had the opportunity to spread and evolve into humans.
  5. Banned for frequenting the same forum games as me, at the same time.
  6. Banned for knowing that there was a forum update.
  7. Really? It's pretty obvious what happens...You get teleported to the Moon's surface along with the nearest chair. The shock of decompression makes you fall over, and your lungs are badly injured. The baked dust and the radiation burns you as you lose consciousness, you die less than a minute later. I wish I could shoot liquid oxygen from my hands, without injuring them.
  8. 73°13'13.53"N 62°16'17.86"E ILLUMINATI HEADQUARTERS jk it's a crater on Mars.
  9. ...but the ceiling is a giant magnifying glass because they wanted to look at the sun more closely, and they all burn. The train station is...
  10. Isn't it funny how they picked the simplest shape, from which any polygon can be constructed? All you need is three points, and there are (apparent) points all over the place in this universe.
  11. You should see how the IAU handles that sort of thing. They're the ones in charge of naming stuff.
  12. That image is from 2008, so not exceptionally new. It sure looks like a crater, especially since the shadows match up with those in the much larger crater 14 km north of it. I would say it is definitely a crater. Now, the question is, does NASA already know about it?
  13. The mod Scatterer adds some really cool visual effects for eclipses, you should check that out if you haven't already.
  14. Nice job @Batmanpuncher! Congrats on the Duna landing! It looks like you might be needing a rescue mission!
  15. Yep. Impress me. That's correct. The Tsiolkovsky rocket equation isn't very hard to use, I've been doing it for a long time. Transfer calculations are a bit trickier, but there are charts for all the celestial bodies. Actually, I've been working on a different project involving bearings. If all goes well, I should have it up in the Spacecraft Exchange by tomorrow. *evil laugh*
  16. I vote that one of them be named "The Game", so that some future colony is perpetually annoyed.
  17. 7. Well, a neutron star is basically an object that didn't get *quite* dense enough to become a black hole. As such, it could have an accretion disk that would be at least warm, but unlikely to be habitable.
  18. The police heard that he stole all the snacks out of the snack compartment, so they had to check it out.
  19. @MircoMars Congratulations with that LMO docking! I'll update the leaderboard now.
  20. You know you're a nerd when you physically try to put down your speedcube before going to a different room and your hand doesn't let go when you put it on the table. This happened to me just now, and I just couldn't not post it here.
  21. Banned for banishing instead of banning.
  22. Granted, but circles, spheres, and trigonometry no longer exist. I wish I could make myself cold anytime I want.
