I don't really want to add anything on to your workload, but this just seemed too good: is it possible to include the Boeing X-20 Dyna-Soar? Specifications (according to Wikipedia): General characteristics Crew: one pilot Length: 35 ft 4 in (10.77 m) Wingspan: 20 ft 10 in (6.34 m) Height: 8 ft 6 in (2.59 m) Wing area: 345 ft² (32 m²) Empty weight: 10,395 lb (4,715 kg) Max. takeoff weight: 11,387 lb (5,165 kg) Powerplant: 1 × Transtage rocket engine, 72,000 lbf (323 kN) Performance Maximum speed: 17,500 mph (28,165 km/h) Range: earth orbit 22,000 nautical miles, (40,700 km) Service ceiling: 530,000 ft (160 km) Rate of climb: 100,000 ft/min (510 m/s) Wing loading: 33 lb/ft² (161 kg/m²) Although the X-20 didn't fly, the ASSET, or Aerothermodynamic Elastic Structural Systems Environmental Tests spacecraft did. It was used to test the Dyna-Soar's heat shielding. For another amusing spaceplane concept, search on Wikipedia for "Saturn-Shuttle".

Sounds pretty good. A technological replacement for Lagrangian points? But sorry. I'm useless at coding.

Wow. Thanks. That's less than I expected. Oh, and any ideas as to how to power a 120kg rover that far out? I've ruled out an RTG, as the stock ones are just too big, and the little Squiggsey Space Research Microsat RTG it waaay too small to last any longer than two years.

If I am to launch a Plock mission, what kind of dV requirements would I be looking at for landing with no option for return? (It's just an un-kerballed rover.)

Well, looks like I'll be using the USI Survivability pack's flotation devices more.

Will there be any land at all on Rayne?

[WIP][1.0.5][Beta 0.1.6] N.A.N.A Wildfire

The main mod I used was Bluedog Design Bureau. I turned on the RCS after my standard check-over to ensure that everything was OK, so a few seconds after. The capsule was the bit that caught fire. -

The spacecraft was one of my standard Felsto orbital single-seaters, relatively small low orbit ships. There was no glowing, and I didn't have the sound on, so I wouldn't know if there was a creaking noise. The ship weighed around three tons, and didn't wobble, but I do have Kerbal Joint Reinforcement installed. It does, though, have a lot of mod parts involved. Album: Just ignore me playing around with Distant Object Enhancement.
