I been trying to get the unmanned contracts to work, but none of the contracts show up. I have all the prerequisits, module manager, coherent contracts, contract configurator, etc. I also have remote tech, but have unlocked all the main comms units. I've gone into space, into orbit, flew by the mun. contracts wont show. I've tried disabling all contracts except the unmanned contracts, and then I just get no contracts.

cant talk about vr always being niche cuz not many people would spend that much money for it. except when new consoles come out, they are friggen 600 bucks, 800 with a bundle. within a year or two they are down to 300. graphics cards come down in price too. with the nvidia 1080s dropping soon for cheaper than a 980ti, i cant imagine those older cards not dropping in price significantly. VR will be accessible by the majority in just a few years. look how fast 4k tvs dropped in price.

vr is not as addictive as KSP though. my day off, got the vive here, but havent touched it yet because ksp.

No one would have watched it if it was realistic, cuz then poor Mark Watney would have died of radiation poisioning before anyone had a chance to rescue him. Probably not any clever excuse for that not happening in the book either.

i was dog fighting in space in elite dangerous. i fought a walking skeleton in a dungeon with a sword and shield. i stood on a tall mountain. i landed on the moon with apollo 11. i defended a castle against a horde with a bow and arrows. VR is amazing

Yes, yes it is. you have to try it. it is the single most amazing experience. not the best resolution, for sure, its not perfect. but man, it takes you some place else for awhile. the immersion is just fantastic. i got the vive last friday, and i...cant...even. i know its outta reach for a lot of people. i know its not perfected yet. when they can stick 4 or 8k screens in those things and graphics cards exist to power them smoothly at those resolutions....its going to be insane. eventually everyone will get to experience it. even in its early beginnings though, its still worth the investment i think to get one setup if you can afford it.

Found someone who thinks KSP is part of a grand conspiracy
EliasDanger replied to SmartS=true's topic in The Lounge
KSP is obviously part of the conspiracy that brainwashes people into believeing the Earth is a sphere and not a flat disk. Dont believe NASAs lies! Dres is just a mop! -

first, thanks dearly to all the dedicated modders out there working on makibg KSP something a lot more awesome than it was already. i wanna try out realism overhaul and rss career. but @NathanKell said that there are major changes they are working on and this update is done so that 1.0.5 saves will work...also according to the Scott Manley videos, hes always running into bugs with realism overhaul... wondering if now is a good time to jump in, wondering if 1.1.2 version will be more reliable than 1.0.5 and wondering if i should wait awhile for tha major changes to be implemented or for possible bugs to be worked out. id rather not start a career only to have to start over when they update in with major improvements they could not implement now without ruining 1.0.5 saves. thoughts?

Started a new career on Hard difficulty with a bunch of mods like RemoteTech, Unmanned before Manned, Strategia, KCT (prerelease). Seems like a better difficulty option, playing on hard. I like it. You actually have to work to get things unlocked and build up the KSC. I am progressing though. Got probes and kerbals into orbit, got mission control and tracking station upgraded. Still gotta do launch pad and VAB ASAP, but as long as I got tracking station, I can plot maneuver nodes and set my flight computers to carry them out so I can start building my communications networks and sending probes to the mun. On normal difficulty, it's like all that happens way too quickly and easily.

You can adjust the difficulty to get less science. You can get part packs and community tech tree to expand it so there are more things to unlock with science. And if you still have too much science, you can convert science to funding or rep with admin strategies. Sooo...yeah.

[1.4.x] Contract Pack: RemoteTech [v2.1.4] [2017-08-27]
EliasDanger replied to nightingale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Thank you for the fast service, it is greatly appreciated. Was all excited for the release of RemoteTech and just now noticed those remotetech contracts weren't on the config list. Just as you were releasing the update.- 557 replies
