Wait shouldn't it be close enough for some communication if they only launched a few days before? I think you can do solid retrograde burns without contact though so you should be able to get a rough orbit without a sync to Earth.

When I click on "add new" and clikc on the install it just opens the folder without actually selecting it. How do I actually select it? Thanks. Will post screenshots if necessary (if I can figure out how).

Thanks for replying. I plan on flying to another solar system, find a planet with a low gravity moon (comparable to Minmus or Gilly), land on said moon, and then come back. I already know an ok planet pack but I want to know if there are any other great ones I am missing.

Well I suggest sending probes to orbit them first, the satisfaction of seeing a planet up close with an orbiter made me feel so accomplished and it might do the same for you.

To celebrate 2017 I built a craft capable of carrying 2017 kerbals. I want to sacrifice them Danny-style, however I don't know where to do it. If I do it in Kerbol it will simply poof away, if I do it in Jool's atmosphere is will heat up and blow up all at once. Where should I do it? I will post the video once I finish. Thanks.

That is absolutely amazing. This is the best mission I have seen in a long time. You should feel very proud of that ship, and not to mention without any nukes, Wow! Great job! Amazing! Anyone who completes a grand tour without mining or refueling in 1 launch like you did should get a special reward.

Ok I have just added the Outer Planets Mod to the mods list, simply to give more planets to get science from. Looks good. I really like your launcher, it looks both industrial and sleek at the same time.

I don't want to overwhelm you, but if you think that getting a Kerbal to Jool and back (I remember those days, ahhh what fun it was.) is difficult you should check out some of the Jool 5 submissions lol. After alot of procrastinating, I present my finished product: @Jetski I promise I did not copy your vessel, when I designed it this challenge was still new and I didn't see your design until mine was finished. It seems we designed nearly identical craft by coincidence. Also good job on your entry.

I could see the larger 3 moons easily. However when I saw a yellow chunk and recognized it at Pol. I got excited and then went to the map view and saw that Bop was also on the same side of Jool. Since I couldn't see it I pointed the ship towards it then held the right mouse button and slowly shift the camera until one of the stars began to turn white to brown and back to white. It was Bop! So I made sure I could see them all in one go then I took the screenshot.

Not a problem but please posts screenshots of the missions being done. I suggest putting the screenshots in their own mission report thread so that it doesn't fill this one. If everyone posted their screenshots it would get hecti considering the size of the challenge. Good luck on the rest of your mission.

You know what? I am currently working on a ship for the Jool-Sarnus 10 challenge and I plan on refueling at Hale, I will try to get a screenshot of the moons for you. OOH I JUST REMEMBERED. I'll gets Sarnus's rings too assuming they don't cover up the other moons.

Here is my mission so far, I am almost there.

I was flying a fuel tank with a Kerbal strapped on the front to Eeloo and back for the Fly to Eeloo and Back with 2 fuel tanks No Refueling Challenge. Since it takes alot of delta-v for a plane change I decided that a Jool flyby would do the trick. Since I am filming the submission to make a video I slowely warped towards Jool when I saw Laythe, Vall and Tylo. This is pretty normal around Jool since the moons are so big, BUT then I noticed the 2 small glowing specs above Jool. I moved my mouse to make sure they were moons and not stars, now I present this image: Here's the original screenshot:

I have built a Laythe lander who's final stage is an SSTO Tekto lander. Can't wait to finish the other landers and gate off to space. Awesome ship. You really used all the funds you could didn't you lol.
